Great cafe, lovely owner who's always up for a chat even when she's busy. Reasonably priced, well made food. Had very nice bacon sandwich last time I was there. Highly recommend popping in if you are passing.

Really beautiful place. Lovely people who work there. Would stay again... And again... And again.. Loads of places to go and visit all around you.

Best scallops I ever had. The warm cookie dough was magnificent!

Good for food, or just drinks. Good play area for kids.

Really easy to find a disabled parking spot ..table by the window …prompt service ..I ordered the roast beef (lamb had sold out) My daughter had cheeseburger and chips with garlic bread young lad brought plate to the table… the dinner was lovely and definitely had proper roast potatoes and that horseradish sauce was excellent..as was my lime and soda (although I think I got lemonade…but it was delicious ).. two complaints 1…I had to leave my plate mid way to get at the bar to get another drink for my daughter bar was busy so my dinner was getting cold.. 2 the beef was very much overcooked for me ..but tbf it’s hard to serve up a med rare slice … but I would still order it again if that horseradish sauce was on the menu Yes we will definitely return Teena & Nikki xx

Went for breakfast on Saturday morning. Week later got parking fine through post for 60 pounds. Didn't see any signs no staff said anything to us....won't be going back here.and will advise everyone I meet... avoid !!!...disgusting ...food was only just warm and ended up standing waiting for eggs to be cooked...please find somewhere better it won't be hard.

Lamb shank and peshwari naan was delicious

I have used this pub occasionally for years. Had some very good times there and always enjoyed the real pub feel. Unfortunately this time, wow, what a difference. I had my go to meal of gammon, it was OK and that's not what I normally say after I've eaten there. Don't know what happening but would not recommend this place based on that. My friend had prawn tagliatelle main served very poorly in a pudding bowl. Sorry that's not acceptable. Half a dozen prawns and some pasta at £18 was very poor.

Looking forward to having a pleasant meal,food was cold,dry ,overcooked and the vegetables were dry and cold not fit for consumption, the chips were just frozen potatoes overcooked. We ordered desert which we had to ask for then we were only gave us one,the whole experience was extremely disappointing, would not recommend to people to much reliance on microwave cooking going to the chip shop would have been better value and service.

Great food,well cooked and good choice. Staff friendly and helpful. Such a treat not having to cook and wash up! Always have specials at reasonable prices.
