Superb comfy friendly little cafe coffee , lovely snacks , ( beer & an absolutely immense pale ales ) surrounded by bike history!. For me the emphasis is on bikes & the ‘ Bike shop is incredible, lovely kit & Mountain , Road / Gravel machines , & E-bikes etc The workshop for repairs & new components is also excellent, actual skilled , knowledgeable , honest bike mechanics.. 👌.

After hiking we arrived without a reservation, and the team opened the back room for us and for other visitors who just dropped by, they even put music on and lit the fire, creating an amazing atmosphere. Lovely kind team, amazing food, we must visit as we want to try more food from the menu:) Thank you for the warm welcome and the amazing food!

Sorry, hate leaving bad reviews but really just had a horrible experience last night. Food was not good and had a bad stomach all night. Spring rolls were doughy and undercooked with very little filling. Main course sizzling chicken was anything but, pale pieces of chicken in a watery sauce, egg fried rice with no egg and an unusual brown colour. Everything tasted oily and greasy. I'm not sure whether we have just been unlucky or there's a new chef but, although our first 2 experiences were good, the last 2 have been bad and so sadly we won't try again.

Great local fish and chip shop, everyone I know who goes here really enjoys both the fish and the chips. Portions are nice and generous and very friendly staff. Previous ownership wasn't the best so ignore any old reviews, the current family have been here about 5 years I would say and do a great job.

Just got a takeaway from here and quite frankly it's terrible every thing is bland the soup that I asked for spicy is tasteless and looks like dish water, the "special" chow mein should be called chow mean as there isn't anything in it besides a few dry old prawns and some grey meat and dry noodles, the peking dumplings are under cooked and greasy and the lettuce underneath is see thru it's that old! I have eaten here in the past and it's been quite nice but never again!

Very friendly pub. We visited on a weekend away. The landlady and landlord we’re brilliant. Told us what places to visit locally, where to eat and put the jukebox on for us with all our requested songs. Great night especially the cherry rum!!!!
