The best restaurants in Sherington Milton Keynes South East

We went for a meal and all enjoyed our choices. I have ever had such hot fish and chips, right to the last bite. Normally they go cold before finishing, but these stayed lovely. Thank you.

10 chips 2 button mushrooms and a 1/4 tomato garnished the worst questionable ribeye steak I have ever been served. The waitress sore the dilemma as she took my plate and said it happens sometimes and walked away, she obviously didn't care.

Went to The Cock Inn for lunch, staff were really friendly and the food was very good, especially the Fish and Chips. It was a bit quiet with only another table in there, but we enjoyed our time there.

Wonderful village pub with great atmosphere, excellent service and lovely food. Stayed overnight in a comfortable, well equipped room and enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. Friendly staff and was made to feel very welcome. Would have no hesitation to return and stay again.

Having just arrived to our room to find the toilet seat broken, a bulb gone in the bathroom and no plug in the sink. The sink tap also has a lot of limescale build up. We are a family of 4 with 2 dogs. I would have thought we’d have been situated on the ground floor as we have dogs but we were on the second floor. It feels a though the dog friendly rooms are not so looked after. The location is amazing, just make sure you ask for a good room!!

My one night stay was in IHG Rewards Club Room (having earned enough points). Please note that if you booked cash + points, you will not get a refund for the cash (just for points) when you cancelled a booking ($90 was not refunded as daughter had to book a separate toom). Just the same, hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. I was allowed to check in before 2 pm as the room was already free. The room was clean (with complimentary teas/coffees and biscuits) with a nice view. The pool was small but water was warm and there was a steam room. The hotel is walking distance to the 'Mall' (in-door shopping complex) and Milton Keynes Central train station. Overall, I had a pleasant and comfortable stay. Many thanks! What a fabulous find! Very comfortable accommodation. Great staff. And the food…..OMG , absolutely fabulous! Try the whitebait …. Dreamy And the chicken Caesar salad…..I have eaten in lots of places around the world and this is one of the best. So worth a visit.

Great find, will return again I'm sure. Recommend the Orange Chocolate bread & butter pudding, it's amazing!

I'm local and a regular, the food/service is usually good. Decided on Sunday late afternoon, after a weekend of diy to go for a Sunday banquet. Was seated, given menu, restaurant deserted, am sole customer at 1640 on Sunday - to be told as single person can't have Sunday banquet, nor a similar reduction on any other dishes, as am alone. Nothing in their marketing nor on menu to limit this to couples or more. Wasn't a capacity problem, cook was there, staff was there, no one else there, was hardly going to clog up a table till closing time, just 'we never have, for 20 years'. Shame on you Moza, it is hard enough eating out as a woman on your own on a Sunday, no need to make people feel second class customers when they are eating alone. I left and went to the competition and won't be eating here in future.

This place is a hidden gem. Good old proper pub/ restaurant. Owners so very friendly , the food amazing. All meat and vegetables are locally sourced.we both had the stake and ale pie which was amazing, the meat was so tender and homemade pastry top class, this came with a dish of veg, consisting of broccoli cauliflower carrots and leeks, all cooked perfectly. It was served with a choice of new potatoes or home made chips, and was also presented with a big jug of homemade gravy. The service was perfect ,genuine kind lovely people. Beautiful village between Northampton and Newport Pagnell. Also dropped by last year for a Sunday dinner which was also fab. So nice to be able to gout out for such fresh wholesome food. We will be back

We had a lovely evening meal at The White Hart, the food was excellent and the staff and service was exceptional. Would highly recommend a visit.

Been going for years as have many family members who would be turning in their graves! Awful spanish omelette (a slice of) served up today for £10.95. Surprised it was the last one but perhaps the other slices were sold last week? On the plus side after mentioning this we were only charged £5 for the lettuce and pot of coleslaw! Such a shame as used to be so good. Coffee was good however! Save yourself a trip and instead head into Olney to the pancake parlour, better food, service and value.
