Great little Garden Centre with all the trimmings : Cafe, Shop, lots of Polly tunnels packed with stock. Massive choice of Manures, Mulches, composts etc. Pretty much what you would expect and that little bit more from a Garden Centre that is a bit off the beaten track but has so much going for it. 5 Stars are well worth it....Very helpful Staff too!

It has grown quite a bit from a few years ago when I first started going there. It had some unusual and out of the ordinary plants that were the thing that I used to look for and didn't mind paying a price for. Seems to now be a little more ordinary and a bit pricey although it still has a little of the family run nursery feel and well worth a visit. Can't say what the cafe is like as I have not been there yet. Overall a good place to visit.

Beautiful nursery well laid out with a wonderful selection of plants trees etc with helpful staff. There is a beautiful shop which has an array of interesting and unusual items to choose from. Continued success with all that you do.

Absolutely love this nursery. Always beautifully laid out and quality-looking plants etc. Our favourite place for lunch. A hidden gem! Food excellent, good value. I don't think I've ever been when it's not busy so that just goes to prove how popular it is. The staff are super friendly and you are always greeted with a warm welcome. I had homemade soup of the day. Absolutely delicious and came with a choice of a bread roll or toastie. Highly recommend.

This review is for the cafe only was in the cafe on the4th November had a warm sausage roll on its own and was charged £4.95 it wasn’t home made like they used to be it was tasteless reminded me of Greg’s sausage rolls. When my wife questioned the waitress about the price she just said yes I know and looked away. We used to use this cafe regularly a few years ago I just wondered if it has been taken over because when the two guys used to be there the sausage rolls were home made and very tasty will not be using the cafe again £4.95 for a sausage roll that you could buy from Greg’s is ridiculous it just tasted of salt

A nice garden centre with room for a wheelchair and a nice cup of coffee.

Sadly not very impressed. Most of the plants didn't look in great condition. Plus the cafe food was average compared with the prices.

This is a split review. I love going to this little nursery but unfortunately I always take a little elderly lady with me who is now sadly in a wheelchair. The nursery has no disabled parking, which when it’s busy makes it extremely difficult to get the wheelchair out of the car. The car park is gravel not tarmaced so makes it very hard to push a wheelchair and makes it an uncomfortable ride for my friend and the outside only has some paths the rest is gravel so again making it impossible to see and buy all the plants, pots ect. The disabled toilet is ok, but it is up a ramp and has a tight turning area so the chair can get stuck. The cafe is good but you can not fit through the door and inside is very small, there is an outside but this is the uk and the weather is not always great. There is a lip at the bottom of the door which again makes for hard work. The staff are always polite and efficient but not always very helpful in the cafe. But if you are able to walk, then this is a lovely little place. Nice cafe, great cake, lovely plants, an indoor shop, outside seating, toilets and free parking. Brilliant.

I was checking prices and possible plants for my front garden project. I assume I was speaking to the owner who was extremely informative and provided professional advice against the garden plan I had taken with me. I hope to review these thoughts with my Gardeners this week and return with an order which they can deliver to me (for a nominal fee) A good selection of plants considering the devistation of the recent winds! I had plants and bark delivered and ready for my gardeners which finally occurred yesterday. My vision finally fulfilled! I returned today for more bark and plant supports and feed. Staff helpful and points on my loyalty card 👌 👏 It is expanding which is nice to My new loyalty bonus arrived so I visited with my neighbour. Nice to have a cake and coffee before venturing on a spend. Well kept and presented plants and staff always knowledgeable.

Have a lovely cream tea 'service and staff were lovely would certainly visit again.

Just been to alban Hill fantastic sale of some beautiful planters and was helped by a lovely young man called Finlay who not only gave me advice but also offered to take my planters to car for me because it was so hot and I was feeling a bit out of sorts thankyou Finlay

So very lucky to have this as our local garden centre. We had a delicious full breakfast at their cafe this weekend to start and then went round and bought all we went out to get. Great choice of plants and other things and the plants are so healthy and grow well. Staff are always pleasant and nothing is ever too much trouble… very knowledgeable if you have a query. We always use Alban 🌟

Just visited this little garden centre tucked out the way outside Newport pagnell. What a lovely little garden centre with good quality reasonably priced plants & had a pot of tea and a tea cake in the cafe. What lovely friendly polite staff! Will definitely be back to visit.

Went to the nursery yesterday to get some bits went to the till the spend came to just under £100 would have been more. I presented my Alban card and a voucher for just over £15. The voucher had a use by date of end Jan 23. Now firstly Alban always send out their vouchers mid to end Nov. in the past they have honoured the voucher after the expiry date. Not this time, frankly I have no need to go to any garden centre between Dec & Jan. The customer service I received was very poor and they were quite adament about not accepting the voucher. I will not be going back. There are plenty of garden centres.

Ahoy there, me hearties! Let me regale ye with me recent voyage to the garden center to acquire some flowers for me planter on the ship. As a seasoned pirate, I am no stranger to seeking out treasures, and the garden center was no exception. The sight of rows upon rows of vibrant blooms and the scent of fresh earth filled me nostrils with the promise of adventure. After much consideration, I settled on a combination of marigolds and petunias that I was sure would add a touch of beauty to the deck of me ship, and withstand the salty sea air. And let me tell ye, the journey back to the ship was not without its challenges, as I had to keep a sharp eye out for any rival pirates who might try to steal me precious cargo. But upon me return to the garden center, I indulged in a delightful treat at the cafe. As a pirate, I am not one to pass up the opportunity for a tasty morsel, especially when it comes with a steaming cup of coffee to warm me bones. The cafe itself was a cozy little nook, with a view of the flowers and greenery all around. I felt like a proper gentleman, taking a break from me swashbuckling ways to enjoy a moment of quiet and relaxation. Of course, me guard was not entirely down, as I kept one eye on the surroundings, just in case any pesky rival pirates should try to ambush me. In the end, the flowers and the treat were a welcome respite from the rigors of life at sea. And now, whenever I look at those blooms, I am reminded of the adventure that brought them aboard me ship. So, if any of ye pirates find yerselves at the garden center, be sure to stop by the cafe and treat yerselves to a little indulgence. Yo ho ho, and a caffeine boost to all!

We regularly used the cafe prior to Co id so we're very pleased to see it open. Nice place. Pleasant staff. Good menu even if small (it is a small place). We had great panini and sandwiches.

Nice all round experience.Went there on the 10/12/22 to get a nice wreath for the front of the house and a tree to grow in the garden,whilst we have a fibre optic tree in the lounge.Then had a late and scrambled egg on good thick toasted bread,wife enjoyed the porridge

A fairly compact but well stocked nursery with a very nice coffee shop. The shop has nice cards and gifts in addition to tools, pet and wild bird food. Also an excellent range of Christmas trees.

Bought our Christmas tree 🌲 here, good selection, reasonable price, well laid out, served non alcoholic mulled wine equivalent whilst browsing.

Lovely little local garden centre. Fantastic customer service when choosing and collecting our 2022 Christmas tree. The little cafe looks lovely as well, so will be stopping by again soon to sample the delights in there.

I love this small garden centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The plants are always healthy and its possible to order and have them delivered. The coffee shop is very clean and inviting offering a range of items to eat. The outdoor area is lovely when the weather is dry. I would recommend this garden centre as a great alternative to the large outlets.

Extraordinarily helpful staff. One year later I am upset by refusal to deliver two bags of compost 500 yards down the road because the value was less than £25. I am obviously disabled

I like this place. It is freindly and they have a good range of plants with a big selection of pots. I'm going back tomorrow to buy one.

There is a huge selection of plants and all your needs for your garden. A lovely cafe and other items to shop for gifts. Great staff, good parking. Alban Hill has a family feel about it.

A really good experience, beautiful plants in great condition, good prices and very helpful staff. Asked for 3 bags of compost, and a very helpful young lady brought them out and put them in the car for me. Cafe opening again soon, looking forward to my next visit, what's not to like.

Favourite independent small garden centre, good prices, cafe not yet reopening until March/April we were advised. Loyalty card scheme excellent, you don't have to pay for loyalty card & Alban Hill send you accumulated money off vouchers yearly relating to or depending on how much you may have spent during last 12 months. Good choice of plants & garden accessories.

Always welcoming and helpful, it was pots I wanted today and they really do have a great selection to choose from. Good quality plants too, easy parking and good value for money. And great choice when it comes to bird feeders and food . 🐿

Lovely centre, good selection of plants and pots, endlessly helpful, kind and knowledgable staff, and one of the best little cafes around. I know absolutely zilch about gardening - and they don't seem to mind, or laugh at my ignorance. I love going there. One criticism - please put some garden seating around for older shoppers and patient partners. I leave earlier than I want because there is nowhere to sit - outside or in the well stocked shop.

Two of us had lunch here on a Sunday lunchtime. The web site said that because of limited space we needed to book a table, which we did and was very easy to d. The cafe is in a large log cabin and has inside and outside seating. We chose to eat inside. It was extremely clean. The chose was Jacket potatoes, panini, salads and also specials which were Steak and kidney pudding, or steak and mushroom pudding both with vegetables. They also did homemade cake and what I think were homemade soups.We each had one of the specials which were utterly delicious. The puddings came with carrots, broccoli and mash with gravy and were all beautifully cooked. The staff were very friendly and we felt very covid safe. We will be back.

First visit and pleasantly surprised. Good choice of plants and garden accessories. Lovely coffee and cake outside in the cafe. Safety precautions in place. Definitely worth a visit!
