Muratis Pizzeria in Milton Keynes

Very disappointed! Went in person to order a take out and waited and waited and waited and then complained. We were then given hot boxes but cold pizza in them.

5* food 3* service. First and foremost. The pizza is amazing. Honestly it's worth going for the half meter and meter long pizzas. Now sadly for the bad things. Online menu is out of date. 2 for 12 cocktails are no longer every day they are only sunday to Thursday (had we known that we would have booked a different night) We ordered starters, and they never arrived. So we had them removed from the bill. We ordered a side of fries we had to send back because they were very cold. Food is amazing it's just a few small things that let them down. We'll happily go back but hopefully these things won't happen again.

This is without a doubt the best place on planet Earth for pizza. The quality was exceptional, the pizza was huge and with the great food came great service in a spotlessly clean restaurant. As a bonus, the draught lager was spot on too. It's not the cheapest place to go for dinner, but not excessive either. It really comes down to you get what you pay for and in this case both my colleague and I were very impressed with the food, service and overall presentation and cleanliness.

Food is fantastic, and reasonably priced. Menu has a huge selection, and portion sizes are generous. Waiting staff and chefs are thoroughly charming and welcoming. Extremely relaxed family friendly vibe. We’ve found a new family favourite with this place! All of the staff were excellent with our boys. Service exactly as it should be, and feels authentically Italian too.

A catch up with family at Murati's was a huge success. It was great to see they were busy but then with great food and attentive service, it is no surprise. Thank you Team Murati's

The food is second to none but it's seriously let down by service, the food is placed fresh and hot onto the service counter, the bell is rang to notify the waiter or waitress that it is there, it's then left until it is luke warm, then put down in front of the unsuspecting customer

Mixed bag today. Website clearly offers a lunchtime deal but the Wolverton site doesn’t offer this. Some of the meals fine, others not so. Staff noticed that it was hit and miss, really helpful and keen to have feedback.

Another lovely visit , yesterday. Best food around , really friendly staff, 4 starters , including , bruschetta, arancini balls ,& King prawns in a garlic & chilli pomodoro sauce. Mains consisted of lamb & chicken spiedini, grilled halloumi salad , salmon & chicken & Parma, on a bed of mash , with mustard sauce. , the food is superb , would highly recommend.

I was far from impressed with the food. Extremely over priced for what I received. I ordered mushroom and truffle pasta which was £17 and I got a bowl of pasta with what tasted like white sauce. There were no mushroom or truffle. It's a rip off I would not waste my time going there if I were you

Been here a couple of times, mostly for coffee with the car wash next door which is decent so decided to pop in to try for a meal one night last weekend. Food was good, OH liked her pasta. My pizza was okay, slightly cold but nothing to majorly complain about. Got given the bill without asking so felt a little ‘hurried’ along. There was other people in the restaurant that came in after us so no idea what the rush was. I’m hoping next visit would be a bit better

Excellent service, staff all Italian gave a very authentic feel to the experience. Very welcoming and fast service. Food was amazing I really enjoyed the pizza and various pasta dishes. Many options on the menu cooked by a very talented chef. Would highly recommend this authentic Italian experience. Seating is comfortable and the bar is great.

I have been coming to Muratis often now for years, I should have reviewed it sooner. Always the best pizza around, the restaurant can be loud at times but the food is always second to none. The servers are very helpful, and the takeaway option is convenient. Wolverton, Daventry and Newport Pagnell are all brilliant restaurants.

Great food and wonderful service. The only thing that spoiled the evening was being told that we could not have free tap water as they only have filtered water, for which we would be charged £1.50. When we pointed out that it is illegal to refuse to serve tap water, the charge was removed. I should point out that we had ordered wine and other drinks, but I just wanted a glass of water. Don't let this put you off

I went for dinner with a friend for her birthday tonight and we had a great time. The restaurant was very busy but despite that service was very good. Food was excellent, tasted fresh and arrived quickly! Katerina, our waitress was amazing! She welcomed us with a smile and took time to talk to us despite that she was very busy. I popped in here for a coffee while waiting to get my car cleaned next door. They were not actually open and I didn't realise. But they welcomed me and my son in out of the cold and dark and made us feel at home, with a nice coffee on the house. I was v touched by this generous and kind gesture. And I'll definitely be going back with my family for a meal soon to say thanks. Wish more businesses were as warm and sweet as this. Made me feel like I was part of a helpful community. It felt like life is not just about profits, but human spirit too. Which we all need to see thesedays more than ever. Thanks guys. Much peace.

Celebrated a family members birthday with a baby , four young children and a couple of teens. The service was excellent, the food was great and the atmosphere friendly and warm. Everyone enjoyed their meals and a clingy bambino even had a cuddle with the lovely waiter. Overall a great time was had by all. Thank you!

Good food, pleasant staff, but too many errors! Son ordered small wine as was driving, large one delivered. Pizza ordered without calamari or mussels, delivered with. Removed, yet re-delivered still containing small amount of calamari, plus mussels!! Although two errors was still charged extra for more prawns!! Good job no allergic reaction suffered as obviously both contents were just removed, NOT completely re cooked as informed.

I have been going to Muratis for a couple of years now, I have to say that my latest visit was very different to before. There has been a change of staff, and the normal happy atmosphere wasn't quite their.

Great Italian food and service is also very good. Nice family atmosphere and lovely people.we will be back for sure

We were staying in Milton Keynes to do an indoor skydive and had researched some pizza places to visit. We had seen that Muratis had good reviews so we travelled 30 minutes on the bus with an additional walk to try it. Luckily I can say it was well worth the wait! The pizza was amazing. It had a generous amount of toppings on and was really full of flavours and seasoning. We ordered the sautéed potatoes as well and these were equally as amazing - really moreish! My only criticism would be that you hardly got any and they were expensive for the tiny portion. With the pizza's you can have half and half which is great if there's more than one topping you want to try. Service was very quick and staff were friendly. Lovely atmosphere.

We phoned and could book a table at short notice, the staff were so welcoming on arrival. The food was delicious and the restaurant atmosphere was relaxing to be in. Plenty of families and couples in, a good mix of customers found this restaurant a great place to eat. We will definitely visit again, when in the area again. Thanks for our evening!

Fantastic local Italian that serves fantastic gluten free pizza

Visited for the third time for our wedding anniversary and have to say this is by far the best food we have eaten in Milton Keynes. Four different starters including arancini balls and Bruscetta, four mains including chicken and lamb skewers all cooked to perfection. The lamb is soo soft. Two bottles of wine and bill was less than £140. Booked again for next month and will be visiting again for sure.

Really glad to see restaurants like this in the Milton Keynes area, as usually it's just all chain restaurants. A great menu with a selection that will take time to get through, as everything sounds delicious and it's hard to decide! The Parma pizza was incredible and exactly what I was looking for, probably the best pizza I've had in Milton Keynes. So nice to have a proper nice and authentic Italian restaurant. The atmosphere inside was lovely, with a great view of the incredible pizza oven. The staff were really friendly and attentive, and made us feel at home! I'm really looking forward to my next visit, which will definitely be soon

This little restaurant is almost hidden as you drive down Stratford Road, Wolverton, Milton Keynes. But once found and had a meal here, you'll be back again and again! *Really* good food, excellently cooked, with friendly, attentive service. Huge, tasty pizzas, melt-in-the-mouth steaks, garlic bread that looks more like a pizza, and the same size! Oh, and chairs that are upholstered so you can sit for a couple of hours with no bad hips!

Just average...slow to get our orders taken while bar and waiting staff playing on their phones...pizza arrived quickly,but... pizza not cut properly, . The Ultra thin base was so wet most of the pizza slice was a sloppy mess.. more like pizza soup ...a wood fired pizza should be very hot to sear toppings and cook dough to a crispy structure. Decent flavours just not executed well. The montepeluciano wine was fantastic tho.. A little more attention to detail would not go amiss.

Was busy, but service quite slow took 45mins before we were asked what we wanted to drink. They were a little short staffed I think. When food arrived I didn't have any prawns in my 'Prawn pasta' they took it away and added just 2 !!! 2 other ladies had only 4 each. Bit of an expensive rip off. The pizzas looked good and the puddings were nice. Might be a while before we go back

They say a margarita pizza has no business above £10 and this place is charging £12 for the cheapest margarita pizza, I understand we are going through crises and cost of living going up right now but let’s be honest you are not exactly in the middle of Rome or Milan or Venice Piazza with incredible views to be charging £12 for a margarita pizza you’re in Wolverton, anyway personally I think it’s very overpriced for simple Italian food, plenty of other restaurants/pizzerias with similar quality or better food much cheaper. £40 for 2 pizza and 2 drinks for 2 people is way too much in my opinion. No excuse, however the Italian waiter was very nice and polite so for that I give 2 stars. Won’t be going back purely because of their prices thinking they can charge any money because they think they are special, your not special

In Wolverton. We were a party of 6, all had different meals and we all enjoyed them. Pizzas are large. Sweets are very good, decent potions. Cocktails were nice. Limited parking. Will go again.

Visited today 4th June. 2 couples. All had different starters, all very nice, mains consisted of lamb chops , 2 pasta dishes, & sea bass . Topped off with a couple of dessert. Wonderful place to eat food , nice background music. Would highly recommend.

We booked this lovely restaurant as it was close to our accommodation in a town just outside Milton Keynes. From the moment of booking the staff could not have been friendlier or more efficient. Tho food was excellent and just as good as we have in Italy. The service was brilliant too. We left feeling very happy having cleared our plates. 😊😋

Was my first visit today (even though already highly recommended by family who were with us ). The service and atmosphere were amazing, very friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food was beautiful and I will definitely return as I need to work through a good few dishes from the menu 🤗

Eating here is a lovely option with Wolverton and one of the few restaurants that list calories beside menu items which is helpful for customers maintaining a balanced nutritional programme. Options for vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian and dairy free are available with meat and veg options too. Prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are filling - desserts are particularly big which is great and definitely enough for two if feeling full. Their banoffee pie is perfect, as too their cheesecake - both are made fresh. Food quality is great!

Enjoyed the food and service at the Italian restaurant/diner.

We booked on line for Easter Sunday, and travelled quite a long way, as we had enjoyed our meal there years ago when we were last in the area. When we got there, the car-park was coned off and the restaurant was empty. What a disappointing experience.

What a gem. This restaurant is completely unassuming and that's adds to the charm. Pulled up and immediately welcomed in by the lovely owner. Ate delicious pizza and pasta served attentively and the real star was the dessert, tiramisu and bannoffe pie both homemade and exceptional! Thank you, we will be regulars

My sons favorite Pizza but sadly the quality and portion sizes have reduced. Still great pizza and a lovely place, just £2.50 for extra with very little portion left me cold.

Great food. Had the mussels to start as have had before . They were not as nice last time, they came in a lovely creamy garlicky sauce before this time was just like a lemon water. The main chicken and parma is amazing had this a few times and always lovely and a good portion size. Bannoffee pie for desert was delicious.

We an an awesome meal at Murati's. The food was lovely and such good service was given to our group of twenty. I would certainly recommend this place. Parking was also a plus point.

I had high hopes given the high rating, however was sadly disappointed! The restaurant gets very busy on a Friday night so make sure you book, and owing to the crowd it also gets extremely loud. I struggled having a decent conversation without raising my voice. The pizzas were decent, other than that the food was very mediocre. I was hoping for an authentic Italian experience but was let down. The risotto within the arancini balls was paste-like and gloopy. The “homemade” bread used for the crostini was doughy and the topping was not at all exciting. The prices don’t match well with the quality of the food unfortunately.

Very nice restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. Pizza was lovely, as were the starter and affogato dessert. Will look forward to another trip there again soon.

Visited late on a quiet Monday evening whilst in a local hotel for business. Clean, smart and comfortable. Service was fast and very friendly. Pizza was excellent and very fast to the table, one of the best I've had for a long time - just the right amount of toppings and crunchiness on the base. Will definitely visit again. Thank you.

We had the wrong pizzas sent to us, we were then met with stone cold- apathy when informed of this and they then refused to replace with correct product ordered. Despite informing them we were regulars we basically got told it’s not their problem because it was through Uber. Won’t be ordering from here again I’m afraid. Didn’t even want a refund, just wanted the 40+ quids worth of pizza we ordered. Very disappointing attitude and one Sunday evening ruined!

Was a lovely meal, the risotto is really filling so could probably feed 2. Silverstone was on so the restaurant and most places were very very quiet which was nice. All the staff were lovely and polite. 4 stars as i think the cocktails are a bit over priced. Been here again a few times, we have had the half a metre pizza, the pizza here is so good, so is the lasagne, its amazing. This time the cocktails were not so good, my long island iced teas were very weak and cokey, a real shame as this wasnt a 2for£10 night. Other than that great place, great people and lush food 👌

Great tasting pizzas....throughly recommended

We popped in tonight for a meal. I specifically ordered garlic bread with cheese, but was served plain garlic bread instead. When I raised the issue with the staff, I was told that I had ordered incorrectly. We ordered king prawn pasta which we have had so many times before and has been amazing, tonight it was absolutely tasteless. Again I raised this and the waiter asked the chef, he was then told they are under staffed and the chef had to rush our meal so that’s why it was like that.. Both these responses made us completely aware that this place no longer seems to care about customer experience like they once did, if they can treat well known customers this way then it’s turned us off going ever again. Given this experience after being a loyal customer for so many years I would not recommend this restaurant. The unethical handling of my complaint and the subpar meal were so disappointing that we will not be returning.

I called ahead to make reservations and was graciously accepted for a table of two. From the door we were greeted with a smile and shown to our table. Our order was taken and in no time, the fresh hot appetisers were served. Delicious! It only heightened our expectation for the main course and we were not disappointed. I must say that I lived in Modena, Italy off and on for three years and this beautiful hospitality and atmosphere just reignited my love for Italian food again. Molte Grazie!!

So I've been looking foward to trying here for a while now, in all honesty there are some great pros which would go to a 4 star but the negatives let the place down. Firstly the service was hit and miss, the small male waiter was exceptional and a credit to the venue, however the small older lady was hard to understand and a little cold, she got our order wrong, giving us a main for a starter and also charges us for it, some of the other items where forgotten aswell. There was no check with the mains to see if they were OK and it took ages to get the bill. The drinks were amazing and good for value (2 cocktails for £10). Apart from the popcorn cocktail which tasted nice but was very small and not vaulue for money. The long island iced tea and pina collarda were lush. The food, calamari rings were chewy, stale and tasteless, chicken wings were good and the other starter was missed due to waitress error. Mains, lasagne was great, my risotto was pretty tastless and not enough different mushrooms. We didn't have dessert, bill was £150 for four people which seems expensive for what you actually get. I do think with a few minor changes it would score much higher, but on this occasion it fell short.

I was skeptical when we first arrived as the restaurant is in the middle of a car wash and next to a petrol station. However this all changed when we got inside. Such a friendly, great atmosphere, lots of lovely Christmas decorations, really friendly staff who are so welcoming. Great Italian menu, food was great and freshly cooked in a kitchen that you can see from your table. Very impressed! Will definitely be back!

Took our son here for his 1st birthday, everyone had a really good time. Food is good and atmosphere is great. They got funny with us when trying to split the bill but we had a party of 28 so not sure what they expected. Have been before and would go again.
