Rasso's Pizzeria in Milton Keynes

I had booked Rasso’s for my daughter’s 18th birthday meal for five adults and one child. I have to say very impressed with the service as the staff were very attentive, the food was amazing and very good sized portions, The atmosphere was lovely and we didn’t feel rushed for the meal at all. Thank you for making my daughter’s birthday meal so special for us all. We shall definitely be returning.

Early dinner. We were lucky to get there a little while before it got busy so food came quickly. Starter of fried whitebait and calamari was nice but maybe a little bit overcooked. I had pizza, nice but as they don't serve Neapolitan style pizza it was not exactly what I like. My wife had Fruitti de Mer and it was exceptional. Huge portion, lovely seafood and served really hot, the way my wife likes. I ate some of the prawns and they were cooked perfectly. I would not go back to eat pizza but would certainly return to eat anything else that they serve.

Had some initial trouble with the booking system but Rasso's went above and beyond to rectify it. All the food looked and smelt amazing and the portions were very generous. Thankyou to our host for looking after us.

I am gluten free and I asked for something that wasn't on the menu. The staff are kind and friendly and I can not fault the service. I wish I lived locally so I could come more often ☺️

Second time eating here and I won't rush back. It was very noisy so hard to hear my companions around the table. We had a couple of starters which were ok but we were disappointed with our mains. I had the chicken in a creamy mushroom sauce with roast potatoes and vegetables. The small potatoes were most definitely not roasted and hadn't been boiled for long enough so were hard. The vegetables, which were also boiled (could have been steamed) were boring with little flavour. I expect more than green beans, brocolli and carrots in an Italian restaurant. Another dish, salmon, is supposed to be served with roasted veg but it came with the same boiled veg that mine had and a pasta dish was supposed to be spicy but was quite bland. Also, friends on another table said that their steaks weren't cooked the way they'd ordered them. All in all a disappointing meal, which was a shame as the restaurant itself, while noisy, feels welcoming and the staff are really friendly.

Great food, very generous portions, excellent service, clean, pleasant, all very good. Be aware tips are cash only, no option to add a tip to the bill.

Authentic Italian restaurant in the heat of the beautiful market town of Olney Bedfordshire. Wonderful pizza good selection of dishes and desserts. The wine list offers a good selection of wines. The service was excellent, The restaurant is beautifully decorated. We look forward to returning in the not too distant future. Continued success with all that you do.

Great food, good service and good prices.

I brought my parents and sisters to Rasso's for an early dinner. We were already inclined to look upon them favourably because they had been extremely helpful to one of my sisters who phoned them in advance to ask about options, taking into consideration her unusual selection of ingredients that upset her stomach. Starting from that positive, Rasso's just went from strength to strength. Service was excellent and friendly, prices were very reasonable but of course it's all about the food and the food was superb. The pizza was fresh, beautifully thin and crispy and amongst the tastiest any of us had tried. One of us had a pasta dish and another a salmon plate with veg and potatoes, both of which were equally delicious. Deserts were also very impressive, with special mention going to the very authentic-seeming tiramisu my father ate. To our surprise we were also given an additional desert on the house, which was a Greek variation on the more familiar baklava. This was something special - delicate and soft with a warm, nutty flavour and none of the overpowering sweetness I associate with baklava. We finished with a very good coffee. All five of us had enjoyed a flawlessly excellent meal. Even my father, who seldom enthuses about food, considered it to be the best pizza meal and amongst the best restaurant meals he's ever eaten. That is high praise, believe me. We were very pleasantly surprised when presented with the bill. A triumphant meal, all told and we shall certainly return as soon as we have an excuse.

Absolutely brilliant little restaurant in the lovely picturesque town of Olney! The food is always very tasty and the staff are always polite and very helpful. The atmosphere is great and we haven't had a negative experience in all the times we have been. Highly recommended!

Wonderful food and service, the waitress who is part of the same family was extremely professional and efficient. Well worth every penny you won't be disappointed the food was outstanding.

Booked for my wife's birthday but alas we didn't have a meal as was booked for wrong date even though I had clarified the day and date 3 times when booking. We were left feeling an inconvenience especially when offered a table but told that the table would need to be vacated 80 minutes later . The way it was offered was like we were being done a favour. Have been several times before but never again.

Brilliant! Enough to fill your belly. Love the seafood and the Desserts are amazing. Coffee mmmmmm.

I had dinner here with my daughter on the 7th of February for my birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 and the food and service are the best 👌 I am booked in again today with five family members and then 7 family members next weekend sat.. I absolutely love it here and so glade I found this beautiful restaurant 😍 I will be spending also valentines Dinner here if I can 🤩🤣❤

This place is a gem. Dinner for my 50th birthday. Everyone enjoyed it. The staff were lovely, the food was excellent. Well done.

Setting Very crowded on Friday night and therefore noisy (hard surfaces). Too many covers squeezed in. Staff The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Food Arrancini starter was very good. Hint - a full portion is too much so consider sharing. Bruschetta was not bad either. Pizza was too big for one and very thin, soggy, in the middle - you couldn't pick up a slice, Italian style. It tasted good though. Lasagna arrived cold in the middle (had been frozen) - replacement arranged with no problem. Lobster linguine looked good but was indifferent. Mixed salad was very generous and fresh. We didn't have room for deserts. Suggest the restaurant focusses down on a smaller list, with more vegeatrian and vegan options, done well, and slightly reduces the number of tables and also smaller portions would be fine.

Good all round, so maybe 4 1/2 stars. A bit pricey after a tip

I love Italy especially South Italy and sicily but the non Italian music was anoying

We have just had an absolutely fantastic meal! The food was delicious, big portions and great value for money. It was to such a high quality and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be visiting again!

A hidden gem in the corner of the market square in Olney, which is just outside of Milton Keynes. Lovely little place which can handle approx 42 covers. Great menu with no less than 4 seafood linguine dishes and other great dishes to add. I had the Arancini to start and the Lobster and King Prawn linguine as main. It did not disappoint. Authentic Italian food could not get any better. Our waitress was Stella and she was very attentive. It’s worth a visit for sure.

Wow the food was amazing. From the perfect starters (garlic bread in the pizza oven) to steak and chicken in a fantastic sauce. Nothing was too much trouble and it was really value for money

The food was great, a proper Italian

First timer, looked very welcoming waitress seated us quickly. Nice and cosy on a chilly winter night. Had a hearty soup of the day and a platter for one, very nicely presented. Main courses were bolognaise and my lobster linguine, wow you won’t leave feeling hungry the portions were huge, but being an OAP a bit overpowering and neither of us could do them justice. Unfortunately the lobster 🦞 had seen better days and wasn’t at its best. Nice little touch was a complimentary dessert,🍮, which was very tasty. Great service and very welcoming. Would go again.

We ate here for the first time and it certainly wont be our last visit. The food and service was faultless. Quite possibly the best pasta dish I have ever had and the staff are so welcoming. Will definitely be back soon, thank you.

We just had a meal there with our Diamond Dental MK team, staff very friendly. We absolutely loved the food from starter, main and the dessert tiramisu was amazing. Definitely we will come back !

Great vegetarian pizza and very attentive staff.

I was looking forward to meeting friends for dinner. The restaurant was certainly busy and had a buzzing atmosphere. We even bumped into other friends later in the evening, which was a lovely surprise. However, I did rather feel that we were somewhat cramped in. I estimated something like 45-50 covers ... which was possibly too many. Although we had a good time, we're all a certain age and the overall level of noise made it difficult to hear each other ... so conversation was somewhat difficult. Five of the six meals arrived at about the same time, which was good. However my friend's chicken risotto was more like chicken rice pudding with chicken and rice slopping about in in a soupy sauce - kind of inedible. Another friend's salmon apparently tasted OK ... but I personally don't like salmon flesh to be blackened. And finally, my gluten-free pizza only turned up when my friends had nearly finished eating. Altogether not good and indicative of a restaurant that was overbusy. I won't be rushing back :-(

Excellent food. I had the pasta with courgette and prawns and it was delicious. I’ve just returned for 5 weeks in Italy and it certainly tasted authentic.

From the moment me and my wife walked in we felt welcome. The atmosphere was absolutely perfect and the service and food was second to none. I can happily say it was the best meal I think I've ever had. Would definitely recommend and will certainly be going back again.

A group of 12 of us went for dinner. Service was really smooth. Food was at the right pace and they even gave us some complimentary desserts. Make sure you go there hungry as the portions are really generous, Staff were really friendly and lovely. Cannot wait to visit Olney again and go back to try a pizza! What a great little place in a lovely small town. We have been coming to Olney for many years as my parents live close by. This is a family run restaurant on the market square - well, the food was absolutely delicious, the starters (rice balls & the stuffed mushroom) were big enough to be a main course !! My wife had the chicken in mushroom & cream sauce & I had the Pollo pasta dish - the meal was fantastic & we both thoroughly enjoyed it & the atmosphere was great as the restaurant was full - Lovely people in a lovely town - will definitely be returning - the pizzas looked really good too so we also plan on taking one away very soon !! Well done Rasso’s - keep it up !!

Wow! It was my first visit in Olney yesterday and me and my wife and kids decided to have a dinner at this little restaurant. The mixed seafood pasta that I had was amazing! My wife had a pollo di parma, she loved it so much and my kids had pizzas and they said the pizza was the best they have ever had! We loved every second we were there and their tiramisu is to die for!!! Thank you so much Rassos for the incredible dinner we had and to the staff that they make us feel so welcome. We are definitely coming back 😁

Nice place, lovely staff, quick service but for a restaurant that calls itself a pizzeria, the pizza was extremely mediocre and far too much money for the quality of the food. Pasta dishes looked nice so I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt and putting this down to solely the pizzas being bad. £40 for 2 pizzas and 2 cokes! Worth about £20.

Had a great experience here last Friday night with family. We hadn’t been since it changed hands and I would say it is much better now. There is more choice and variety on the menu, especially for vegetarians. I had the veggie risotto and it was delicious. The staff were super friendly and it seemed like they took pride in their job. The only thing it was missing was some background music for the complete Italian vibe! We will be back :)

This was the best restaurant meal we have had for a while. The Lamb & chicken spiedini was very good, I had mine with the roasted baby potatoes. My wife had the Seabass in padella which was also very good. The staff were very helpful...

Incredible.... Big smile on arrival from the lovely young lady that seated us. Meatballs and risotto for mains and tiramisu and cheesecake for dessert, everything was perfect, portion size was brilliant and the wine we had just made it all even better. Service was very fast, all the staff were very friendly and it was all at a very reasonable price as well, will definitely be coming back here for more!
