Highly recommend What a fabulous authentic pizza establishment in our local village. Went here as a family of 7 yesterday and we were not disappointed. The pizzas were so delicious and made with homemade dough and carefully selected ingredients used for the toppings. The pizzas are even better than we have had on our many visits to Italy. The children’s menu at £10 for a two course meal was excellent value for money and thoroughly enjoyed by our pasta loving 3 year old. Great menu and drinks selection . A welcoming restaurant with friendly, happy staff . How very lucky are we to have this little gem in the village 🤩

Super little place... I say little, because it feels intimate, yet it goes back for a ways, so they can seat quite a few folks... the burger and snacks menu was perfect... beer selection fantastic (I had a brewed in house one that was delish!)...though they also serve other beverages... staff was super friendly and accommodating... love the style, cleanliness, the ambience and the food... 100% win in my book. Will definitely go back with no hesitation whatsoever...

We wanted to say a HUGE thank you, to Jamie, Krysia, Nikky, Steph, Sarah, Gill and the whole team for making our wedding the best day ever! From the moment we chose Pangdean we felt relaxed and nothing was too much trouble. We had so much fun, and our guests are still raving about how great the food and staff were and how stunning the venue looked! Nothing will ever top our wedding day - it was just incredible Thank you, thank you, thank you - we want to do it all over again! Love, Hannah and Rosie x

A good cup of tea solves a lot of problems and I got a lovely pot of tea here, served with hot milk on the side because it's winter at present. Also they had nice relaxing, soothing music playing which wasn't intrusive and loud like in so many cafes.

Such a joy to find this little place. The food has that home-made nourishing feeling to it – really tasty and satisfying. The location, right by Devil's Dyke, is idyllic. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Lovely to sit outside and soak up the sun in its laid-back atmosphere.

On a recommendation, we had Hampers cater for our 40th wedding anniversary. Bob came and set up the food for us that time and everything, the quiches, the sausage rolls, the scotch eggs, the sandwiches, the salads.........., everything, was perfect. Ten years on and who could we possibly ask to cater for our Golden Wedding? Luckily Bob is still the friendly and professional person he was for our 40th. The quality of his food hasn't changed either. Every one of our guests, without exception, remarked about just how nice everything was, not just in appearance but in taste, texture, everything. He even opened his shop especially on a Sunday morning so that I could go and collect the it.

Have used this cafe for many years, but I'm afraid it's gone down hill now. Food wasn't bad but not good. Staff were good. Toilets a bloody mess, very dirty .Scrap yard next door with rats running about. We will not stop here any more.

Went on Easter Saturday (5 adults) and sat down to order our food. It took the waitress 15 minutes to come over and take our drink orders and another 10 for the food orders. When we ordered the food we were told there 'was a bit of a delay' which we accepted. 30 minutes later our starters came out and 1.5 hours after sitting down we had still not received our main meals even though tables that were seated the same time as us and after us had received their meals and had even left. In the end we all got up and told them to not bother with the main meals and they then took the starters off the bill and just charged us for drinks. This is the third time I have been to the Dyke and while the food is always good, the service and speed of food coming out isn't great. Plus it can be a real struggle to park as it doesn't have its own car park and the car park you can use is shared with a view point which is used by dog walkers.

The food was very good, but could have done with a bit more meat.

My family and I went here for a Sunday roast. We had been here before in the past and the food had been amazing. The food this time round was awful, priced at £21.00 for a roast dinner ,was much higher then what we had paid in the past. The roast beef was under cooked and so blue, 2 roast potatoes not even crispy, pig in blanket was a large sausage cut into a quarter, I think a sausage had been shared between the 3 of us. One parsnips, one carrot, a pile of red stuff which tasted of water, cauliflower cheese didn't taste nice, a small square of sage & onion stuffing, cheesy leaks again didn't taste very nice and a yorkshire pud that was so big I had to keep moving it around the plate, it was very dry to taste. All the food was tapid and not hot at all. Then came the pud, toffee pud with butterscotch sauce, it came with a strawberry and ice cream, nice touch if you like strawberries. We wasn't advised or even asked if anyone of us had allergies as the toffee sponge had walnuts in it. I'm used to having dates in a toffee sponge but not walnuts. Lucky none of us have a nut allergy but making customers aware of this is a given. Then it came to paying £104.00 for 3 roast dinners, 2 toffee sponge puds and a bowl of ice cream and 3 soft drinks, a little expensive. Would we go back absolutely not. Over priced and tastless food.
