Local run business. Well established in the town and very popular with a more mature clientele. Everything cooked from fresh by the owner and her friendly team. Very popular on Sunday for their roast lunches. Good portion sizes. Highly recommended.

Great welcome and service by staff to this cosy family run restaurant. Enjoyed La familia and Estrella Galicia beer on draught whilst the mrs enjoyed Sangria. Had quite a nice selection of tapas- standouts were Chorizitos, Plato de pescado mixtas, Albondigas & arroz con vegetales. Prompt service & tasty food- warmly recommended!

Thursday 30th January 2025. Called in for lunch, this place is so welcoming, it’s like revisiting friends , this time with my daughter, both had a delicious lunch. I always browse the shop with many different items. Such a special place. Also great if on your own. I don’t have dietary needs but my daughter does. They are always willing to discuss ingredients. Had a lovely Friday night meal here. Gorgeous food and very Friendly Team.. Really appreciated a little Birthday cake treat for my Son who was celebrating his Birthday.. We order online all the time but was our first visit inside the restaurant so was nice to meet the Ghurkha Team. Keep up the great work Burgess Hill is lucky to have you.

We were celebrating a birthday with family! We sat in the bar area with a drink while waiting for our table. The staff are attentive and the service we recieved was exemplary. The food is absolutely delicious, plentiful and not over priced. It is all very fresh and good quality ingredients Having just moved into the area I am so happy we found it. Can’t wait to go back!

I visited Bangkok Brasserie in Burgess Hill and clearly told the waitress that I was vegan. She assured me she’d check with the chef to make sure my food was suitable. After a 45-minute wait, the dish arrived—but something didn’t look right. I asked again, and she confirmed it was vegan. I took one bite and it was obviously egg. Only then did the waitress realise the mistake, saying the chef didn’t speak much English. That’s not an excuse—especially when dietary requirements are involved. They offered 15% off after I explained that if I’d had an allergy, this could have been dangerous. The manager responded by saying he had a health certificate and that “you couldn’t be,” which was both dismissive and incorrect. When I pointed this out, I got a very half-hearted apology. This experience left me feeling deeply uncomfortable. I won’t be going back.

Had take away a few weeks ago and was FANTASTIC! Had same tonight and BERY disappointed ☹️ chicken very very dry, ordered muta paneer (for a change) and was so dry and overcooked! Thought we had found a little gem but alas no 🤦‍♀️

Had a great breakfast from here at lunch time . Delivery driver from just eat in the pouring down rain was very friendly Definitely ordering from Thornes again quality of food fantastic

Fabulous little place was very busy today but managed to get a table, staff were very lovely and smiley. Food was great we had ham and cheese omelette. Very very well priced. Will return

Have been here to eat in on several occasions. Today I had a takeaway. I expected it to be good, but it was in fact great! Quite honestly the nicest takeout curry I’ve ever had. I ordered: Lamb Korma (don’t judge me). Mushroom Fried Rice Garlic Naan Onion Baji Definitely the best Indian Restaurant in Burgess Hill. I would recommend eat in or take away.

The food was brought out quickly, it was hot and there are no complaints at all, the price for quality of food is really good. The staff were lovely, I wasn’t able to catch their names but they were friendly, easy to talk to and very welcoming ,both were woman, I believe one of them was younger with blonde hair, the other had brown hair and looked in her 30s - 40s, thank you for the good service :)!

My partner and I are always happy when we get a takeaway from Kings Garden. Great food, some really good veggie options, our go-to chinese.

Thank you to the ignorant member of staff who cleared our food off the table and threw we had not finished but your staff did not to cate we saved up for this Birthday celebration and it was spoilt completely. Thank you so much

Visited yesterday with friends. Have been coming to the Railway for over 30 years, always enjoy my time here. However yesterday was disappointing, the place we sat at had a big hole in it and just looked shabby. I have to comment on the toilets every time we have come for the last few years the toilets absolutely stink of stale urine and it is so off putting. For a chain as big as Greene king I’m surprised this is allowed to happen. Such a shame as the Railway was always my go to pub. Please sort out the loos.
