The best restaurants in River Medway South East

What a great food truck this is. It’s pitched in a great location at Dockside Chatham. The service is fantastic and the guys are really nice and friendly. The dosa was cooked to perfection and the best dosa I’ve ever tried. It was lovely and thin really crispy and the dips served with it were lovely and fresh. The chicken curry with rice was also fantastic. The pilau rice was absolutely spot on and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The guy even said to me if you eat it all and there’s not enough rice let me know and I’ll give you more rice for free. There is a couple of tables to sit at which makes it a great spot when the sun is out. 5star will definitely be returning and highly recommend you visit if you like Sri Lankan and Indian food.

This place provides a good selection of breakfast and lunch time meals and drinks . The food is nicely cooked and they will cook it as you request. The drinks too are good , as are the staff who are pleasant and helpful

This was a lovely find by a friend of mine we had the roast dinner was amazing and it was freshly cooked would highly recommend the staff really friendly and we got offered seconds which trust me you wouldn't be able to fit in 😂😂 We will be going here for a cream tea soon Thank you staff we didn't feel rushed we ate and drank at our leisure and nothing was too much trouble

super friendly & helpful staff those fellas didn’t stop all night lots of yummy food to choose from we had the tender feast & omg we are total piglets & we were stuffed! great value good very large & tasty portions drinks choice is fab and the pump beers were amazing loads of tvs for sports watching super clean toilets! as a girl in a mainly male bar i felt very safe (& welcome) they clearly care about clientele wish we lived closer!!

Again..a lovely meal at The Sultan ladt Saturdat evening. The staff are extremely friendly and the food is 💯 absolutely divine. This restaurant never fails to deliver..

Visited Oliver’s on Saturday with my mum and four children, and it was absolutely AMAZING. From the moment we arrived, the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or attentive—they looked after the kids brilliantly and made the whole experience feel really special. The food was equally impressive. The empty plates at the end of the meal said it all! The filet steak was cooked to perfection, the sea bass was fresh and full of flavour, and the boys couldn’t get enough of the ice cream cookie dessert. Generous portion sizes, too. We also found out they offer 50% off food from Tuesday to Thursday—unbelievable value for the quality you get. Huge thanks to all the staff for making us feel so at home. We’ll definitely be back!

I ate here the night before my wedding with my groomsmen. I didn't have high expectations, and that was fine, I was looking for quantity over quality. Turns out, you get both! The food was surprisingly good, for what's basically a dated looking local Chinese restaurant, but everything combines to create a very relaxed family orientated environment. The restaurant was packed with happy faces. What more could you ask for.

First time visiting Service was blunt , almost verging on rude , to be honest, very disappointed by the attitude of the staff , we were a party of 10 , adults and child , £5 deposit per person on booking , £23.50 for the meal ( deposit was deducted from the £23.50) and £3.50 for a.pint of coke Not impressed with the service but the food was nice and hot , over priced I thought ,for the small plates of prepared food that arrived and were placed quickly on glass round table , and then we was given small plastic little tea plate sized plates to.eat from ... Takeaway 💯 would enjoy Eating in again would not be a option for me in the future I'm afraid

Wish they would open they’re really room again! Caters for all and beautiful setting! Great service and my mum can’t eat dairy as allergic and does the best dairy free/vegan chocolate cakes! Miss this place!

1st October. Absolutely FANTASTIC. Tasting menu Loved all of it. Paris was a star!! Our son started college here & wants to be a chef. He will be in very good hands.

Food was good but service was very slow. Took over 2 hours to get our main course. Had to ask for our order to be taken after 30 minutes

Yummy! I love this place. Great food.
