Great for a quick coffee away from the high street

Have been visiting here for a while. We find that it's a more relaxed atmosphere than the High Street.

OK for a quick coffee, been to one you have been to them all types of place.

Always great service, friendly and helpful staff.

Really attentive staff in here- especially the young lady, who realised she had forgotten something as we sat down and corrected it without hesitation! Very pleasant experience. Didn’t even know there was a Costa here! Nice and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of the high street!

Visited this branch today and enjoyed a lovely coffee in warm pleasant environment. Two ladies serving were friendly and helpful.

Nice Spacious Costa, slightly off the beaten track in Rochester behind the station. Friendly and efficient staff team, usually able to get a seat. Good for a change of scene for home workers or a visit if early for the train.

This is the best costa I have ever been to, the staff are really friendly and always have a smile, Retta always remembers what I have and always smiles

What a great place,use this Costa when i am in Rochester rather then the one in the High Street,had realy bad service a year or so ago so vowed not to go back.However the staff here are fantastic,so friendly and can't do enough for you.always service with a smile and although sometimes a queue they cope so well getting everybodys drinks out.every customer gets treated with the respect the deserve.Ellie always explains what the drinks are so you get the perfect drink.

Toilets are always disgusting. Never have any sandwiches. Definitely the worst Costa Ive been to

What is happening with this place . Visited today , hubby ordered drinks and I brought 2 toasted sandwiches , after my husband was served his drinks order the person serving swiftly got her phone out of her pocket ignored me and disappeared leaving me stood ! If it wasn’t for another more responsible happier member of staff to serve me, I assume I would be still stood now . If this is how the newest member of staff is going to treat people then the regular customers will soon start to leave . The friendly atmosphere is sadly no longer there, on many days it’s becoming more like a crèche with longer standing staff left to carry the less happier one who clearly need to decide there in the wrong job as a smile wouldn’t go a miss . Such a shame

Coffee and toasty were very nice. There were a couple of teens serving and were nice enough but no smiles or real engagement. Dirty tables and cups all over the place. It did not look like it had been that busy either. Probably best to head to the one on the high street, better atmosphere and cheerier staff.

Whilst the products were nice, the staff seemed like they didn't want to be there, which is fine, but not listening to our order, getting things wrong, and overcharging us. Whilst this is a visit, if I return to rochester, I won't come here.

A well run version of this outlet, clean and well maintained with exemplary care and consideration provided by flat-out staff!

The staff here are absolutely brilliant. So friendly & clearly get to know their customers. Great coffee everytime & a lovely place to sit with river views a bit off the busy high street.

This coffee place has wonderful, polite staff who take the time to make the perfect coffee everytime. This may take a little extra time but it's so worth it, the staff here are a credit to the Costa brand. We have been here when Customers have been in a hurry and sometimes a bit rude to the staff, to be honest if you're in a hurry this is probably not the place for you, but if you want a great cup of coffee made with care give this place a chance. We have tried nearly every type of coffee here and have always been satisfied .
