Sultan is a great go-to for delivery. I got a selection of veggie side dishes and a garlic naan for £21 - they arrived quickly, and were all delicious, especially the saag paneer. Generous portions, and the delivery guy was very charming!

Large party from age 5mths to 60s celebrating 40th birthday. My 5 year old first experience at an Indian restaurant. We were not disappointed! A lovely looking and clean restaurant, such polite and attentive staff , and delicious food! Prices averaged out to around £20 pp give or take including drinks and portions generous enough a few of us boxed up our leftovers and took them home! Boxes and bags provided by restaurant. We were there on a Sunday night and pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves. Which was lovely for us but I felt a bit sad for the restaurant as they really are fab! If you are deciding on a restaurant I recommend giving this a try, I don't think you would be disappointed! They also do a delivery service. I don't eat out or buy takeaways often but this will now be my go to for Indian food! Haven't opted on vegetarian or dietary requirements in this review as wasn't something I had to consider. But I have no doubt these guys would accommodate. Thank you to the staff for being so accommodating!

First time ordering from this place and the menu really appealed- a lot more varied than other local Indian restaurants including lots of fish and vegetarian options. My food was fresh tasting, delicious, colourful, and felt pretty healthy for a takeaway. I look forward to my next order!

Really great restaurant with lovely friendly staff! The whole meal was great popadoms dips was chilled as I hate it when you go for a curry and they come up room temp curry was lovely and hot, tasty with lots of flavour! The restaurant has a really nice vibe and nice decor it’s a lot bigger inside than what it looks like outside. I’m fussy and I’d say this is the best Indian I’ve had in the Medway area by far, definitely will return. Thank you :)

The Sultan is my favourite Indian restaurant in the area. It is usually quiet, but can get busy over holiday periods. The staff are warm and welcoming and most importantly the food is delicious!

We’ve been to the Sultan twice in the last week. We are so thoroughly impressed with the whole restaurant and service (special mention to Jay and Redvin). They were all so lovely and friendly, with them accommodating our needs. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to go. We were seated quickly with starters almost immediately. The food was brought out quickly and all piping hot and fresh. Was so impressed with the place. Cannot wait to go back again.

Me and my family had dinner at the Sultan tonight to celebrate my sisters birthday, we were so so happy with the service, the food, and the staff. Our waiter for the night, Bobbie, was very attentive, polite, and funny and he made sure we had a pleasant experience. The food was incredible, especially the garlic prawn puri (highly recommended!!), we had lots left over so have bought the rest home to finish off! The food, atmosphere and staff at the Sultan is nothing less than the best, I highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to come back! Thank you Bobbie and team.

Came here last night for a christmas works meal, first time being here and will 100% be back, by far one of the best restaurants around, food was incredible, staff was absolutely amazing and immaculately clean. Can't wait to come back again.

Food was very bad it was naan with tikka chicken, naan was saggy and in stuffing I can hardly see the quantity of chicken, very very bad experience. I am very very disappointed.

Very attentive staff, menu explained and new dishes pointed out and explained. We tried a new dish it was amazing, all the food was lovely. It was our first time and we will return.

The takeaway was just as tasty as the food served in the restaurant. It arrived hot and with no leaks. will order from there again.

I always use the sultan ...reasonable prices...very tasty food...always arrives on time....delivery drivers very polite...it's a win win all round.

My new favourite curry house 5*

On arrival everything was great, once ordered we waited around 45 minutes for our food to come out (there was only 2 of us) which is insane. We then had to send one meal back as we made a mistake and ordered the chicken tikka main not as a curry. After that the waiter was just straight up rude and made us feel very uncomfortable about it. He approached our table twice in a abrupt manor telling us to go and tell the boss that it was our mistake if not he's going to get sacked in his words, shaking his head at us and just really looked furious with us, mistakes happen and it was also an easy fix! We really didn't want to be there after that as we could tell he was treating us different to the rest. Food was nice but wouldn't visit again as the waiter put us off, wait time for food to come out.. oh AND £6 for a lemonade?! Crazy

One hour waiting for food turned up cold told they would re cook and deliver food. One hour later was told they didn’t say that and that I need to go to just eat to get money. First time visiting and definitely not the last ! Go early as I see it can get really busy. Food is really good best we had locally, highly recommended.We had many dishes and all were good. Vindaloo was really hot but good.The staff were good.This was Moms choice of restaurant to go for her Birthday. We wasn’t aware but they do have parking at the back of the restaurant as parking out front is difficult due to parking restrictions in front.

Was nearing closing time but staff were happy to accommodate us. Father in-law said his pathia was spot on but my bhuna was below par.

Sadly, this vista left us with a bitter taste in our mouth. The last time we went here we were advised to park in the car park at the back because we could not park on the road. We did the same this time and went up the stairs to the restaurant. We were greeted as we walked in and were shown to our table. Unfortunately we were not told that the parking arrangements had changed. The car park has been transferred over to a company who now send out parking charge notices to people if they do not enter their car registration in a machine at the counter. We received a £60 fine. When I rang and spoke to the manager of the restaurant he said there were signs up in the car park but, as I said to him, as we had been told to park there in the past, we assumed it was still okay to park there. At NO time did any staff member tell us about the change or advise us to put the registration number into the machine. If there had been a sign at the top of the stairs as you go into the restaurant at least we would have stood a chance of seeing it. If we had been about the new system we would have entered our details in the machine and avoided a fine. The manager told me that staff do tell people but on this occasion they didn't and there were 4 witnesses to that! A 'sorry' from him is just NOT good enough.

The food was fantastic we ordered a sharing starter and a lamb dhansak to share with 2 naans. This was our first time visiting and we will definitely be back. The staff were lovely and very attentive, the service was fantastic. Thank you all and we will be back!

We booked a meal for four, with a couple of friends we had not seen for many years. We were quickly seated at a quiet table, in the reasonably busy restaurant. A drinks’ order was quickly taken and delivered but we asked for a little time to peruse the menu (we really wanted to chat, first). Then poppadums were served and we ordered several mains and sides (too many, as it turned out), but all were well-presented and tasty. Throughout, service was prompt, accurate and friendly. AND we’d had a good meal and caught up on twenty or so, missing, years.

Amazing food, brilliant service. Clean. A place for date night or to take the Family. We love this place and will return again soon

The food was pony , chicken was hard the butter chicken was more like concrete not butter lol , maybe have a look at Gurkha fire for some advice , £60 rubs up the walll , thought more of it being resturant wasn’t impressed at all.
