The best restaurants in Peninsula Medway South East

Didnt visit the attached Zoo only the pub but sadly, it was a really poor experience. Customer service was shocking apart from a young 17 year old.who was serving behind the bar. She was friendly. I can only assume the lady that was the manager / proprietor and her colleague were very rude. I get everyone has a bad day and this industry is emotionally and physically draining but just be friendly and communicate nicely with other humans. This review should be constructive to allow ownership to develop on their customer service standards.

Shame on you driving away other local business.

Great decor, very welcoming, topped by fantastic, award winning food. Trumps all local rivals into the turf. Will return here, again and again, possibly within the next hour.

Great place to eat, good portions of home cooked food. Would 100% recommend, we stayed at Haven and was recommended this pub to eat.

Food okish if you've got time to wait phone up for a collection told 15 minutes and hour of waiting in shop waiting customers go in order and come out services is shocking!

Lovely lamb kebab Doner kebab also ! The salad was fresh and tasty ! Chips are freshly cooked and best in the area! Lovely staff too !

Amazing old school flavoured food good portions and hot everything was cooked to perfection the wait time was around 15 minutes and worth the wait the quality of food is good

Drove 250 miles from Manchester to spend New Year here with my wife and 3 children as a Christmas present to our 7 year old autistic son, only to be refused entry to the restaurant tonight (New Years Eve, restaurant open til 1am tonight) for a table booking made at the beginning of November due to not being told that entertainment passes would be required for NYE only, despite this not being a requirement at any Haven location. If this is a specific requirement for NYE, than why not actually communicate this when booking or after booking? Instead of when we turn up on the night itself! No option to purchase on the night, no communication about this since we booked the holiday in June 2024 and no communication since we booked the restaurant in November 2024. You cancelled our restaurant booking today (NYE) just before we were about to attend. An absolute joke! Now we're spending New Years Eve sat in a caravan when we could have done the exact same thing (and more!) back in Manchester. Security brushed it off and told us "head office have made a mistake". Ridiculous. Haven will be seeing us at the main reception at 10am tomorrow morning and nothing short of a full refund is going to resolve this utter shambles. Holiday ruined. New Year ruined. Will never book a Haven site again and won't spend another penny at this restaurant for the rest of our trip.

Attempted to eat food from here 3 times and they ballsed up my order every time even when returning the incorrect order and telling them exactly what they did wrong.. food was also cold.

i ordered and paid for food and they said they would be 10 mins after 2 hours i called and they didn’t answer and have not delivered my food

On holiday at Haven. Found Taj online. Decided to drive the few minutes on Friday evening. Ordered in the Takeaway. Friendly staff. Busy with phone calls and deliveries. Waited half an hour and the order was well worth it. Plenty of chicken in the very spicy Chicken Naga and lovely juicy King Prawns in the Balti. The whole meal was delicious.
