I like a Chinese and that was one of the worst I’ve ever tasted had better hospital food

Ordered my food at 5 to be collected at 7 and she didn’t even acknowledge me when I walked in served 4 other people so I left after waiting 20 minutes please go elsewhere the place is a shambles

We love this Chinese beat around here we come from Allhallows to pick it up as it’s the best we have tried and leg portions and lovely and fresh

Honestly one of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve ever had. Peking style ribs, half duck, salt and pepper chips and the prawn toast are the pick of the bunch for me. If someone doesn’t like this place they need their tastebuds checked out. Deserves more than the 3.8 it’s got!

Nice food. Hot and tasted good. I have used this place on and off for over 40 years so they must be doing something right...

Fab vegetarian options, owner is really friendly and works so hard. Best retro decor and big menu. I love.

Food was good but it took over an hour to prepare our food. Waiting area was cold and uncomfortable. If we return we will phone our order ahead

Very over priced, forgot stuff in the starter, ordered half duck and only got 4 pancakes, ribs were dry and no flavour, beef in chow mein rubbery, chicken in black bean sauce had no flavour either, all in all very disappointed and won't be going back.

So after reading mixed reviews i want for something easy. It was not busy but still waited ages. So i ordered chicken noddle soup. Noddles was undercooked. No flavour at all. I also ordered chicken satay 5 bits of dried chicken on sticks and a satay sauce in a pot that was boiled gravy. How can anyone overcook and undercook. Not again will stick with the one in stoke thanks

Good food always tasty and good service

Not a review but replying to the Dave M review below. The reason why they wasn't answering because like many other places. They was closed due to covid-19. So obviously someone was spitting their dummy out because they could not order a Chinese.

Was calling for an hour and they didn't bother answering the phone. Won't bother trying anymore. They obviously don't need the custom.

It does a great range in vegetarian/vegan food

Rather bland and rather salty. Haven't been back a second time.

Can't remember it well but my stomach is OK.

Been going for many years and have tried many many Chinese's all over the world, this is more traditional flavours. Most of the time excellent, yes they have bad days, mainly when busy (and they do get very busy) but it's really tasty flavours. Don't listen to most of the reviews and try it.

Didn't enjoy ,the food was over cooked

Always polite service. Normally nice food but sometimes the standard can slip. On a couple of occasions meat cooked in batter is cooked too much = Overcooked / batter dark & hard & not so appertizing as it normally! Overall 7/10 = good food served quickly!

I always get my Chinese here. They're friendly and the food is always delicious, especially the sweet and sour chicken balls. Wish they delivered though.

Portions are ridiculously small and the quality of the food is bad. I ordered a Singapore Fried Rice dish for £5.40, the plate was small and it was ordinary fried rice. Not worth the money at all

Pls Pls Pls, don't try it. i just wasted £16 on rubbish.

Ordered food tonight, had to pick up after an hour. Had to wait another 30 mins in the shop when picking up. Food freezing cold. Portions small, hardly any chicken in portion. Poor quality and service. Second time we have used and received cold food and had to wait so not a one off, won't use again.

friday 14th september 2012 just spent £52 on meal, oh dear, it was rubbish. everything had pineapple in it and no meat. the dishes were small pots no taste unless its sweet and sour. we need another chinese in hoo because C&S is horrible
