It takes us 8 years to make a visit to this pretty spot. Spacious, cosy & eye pleasing interior with good services, food & drinks. Love this restaurant chain with the iconic plates c.1970 and hope it still wins consummers’ hearts. Beef is always recommended as the name & purposes of this business🥳

The floor was covered in food from earlier customers. From where I was sat I was able to see the kitchen and looked at our main courses on the pass for close to 20 minutes while a member of staff wandered around on her phone and the kitchen staff had a very loud disagreement. When our mains were finally delivered to our table, one was wrong and the other had stuff missing. We had originally planned to have main and dessert but after waiting almost 30 mins for our plates to be cleared and dessert order taken, we decided to just get the bill. The table behind us had an even worse experience and was snapped at by the waitress. Overall the worst experience we’ve had - we eat there roughly every 2-3 weeks - we won’t be returning.

Absolutely lovely place to eat. It was very clean, even the toilets. The food was really nice and good prices. Free parking for 3hrs (can also use their car park for £1 per hour or £5 for 10hrs) The staff were incredible. Very friendly and down to earth. Our server, Casey, couldnt do enough for us and we were a large party. Very kid friendly and easy to find. Would highly recommend 👌🏻 Wheelchair accessible and accommodating. Vegetarian options available across the menu and staff make a point to ask about any allergies etc before handing over the menus.

staff did not respond when waiting at booking desk, very unhelpful it seems that we were interrupting them, food was uninteresting, it took ages between ordering and getting the meal, restaurant had only a few tables taken. I would never go there again.

We went for breakfast. We were welcomed by a very cheery lady who explained how it all worked and showed us to our table. For £10.99 you can enjoy unlimited teas and coffees, cereals, croissants and pain au chocolats plus crumpets,pancakes and toast. There's also fruit and yogurts. You then get a full English breakfast, whilst not completely unlimited you can have for example 4 sausages, 3 eggs etc. ( if you can eat that much ) Our breakfast came up nice and hot and our food cooked as requested. The surroundings are quite nice with the layout being in sections and at different heights. It's comfortable and we felt relaxed and unrushed.

Amy the waitress was lovely. There were no plates, glasses, bread for toast at the buffet, and dirty plates left there. No hot water for tea. The cooked breakfast was just about edible. Really disappointed.

Definitely needs updating. Food is uninteresting and bland. It would appear copious amounts of barbecue sauce is used to flavour pretty much everything. No sweet potatoes fries. We sat and watched our onion rings cooling on the serving hatch for 10 minutes before they were collected for us, oddly enough we were then warned to be careful as they are very hot. They weren't. Burger mildly warm, chips soggy and warm and the slice of processed cheese in the burger hadn't even started to melt before going cold. Waitress forgot our drinks, so we had to ask for them. Didn't bother with desert as I had lost the will to live by this point. Topped off by the discovery of a not overly clean toilet with no soap in the dispenser. My wife informed me that there was no soap in the ladies either.

Been there twice in the last couple of months and both times they were short staffed. Cooked breakfast was good when we got it but the pastries were not all there either.

Seated promptly cheery greeting. Team member Amy took orders, drinks really lovely and food drinks arrived quickly. Amy was brilliant.

We had a great meal at Manor farm. The service was excellent. The food was tasty and served quickly.

Went for breakfast at 0930. Short staffed. Shown to a table and after 30 minutes I had to go and look for someone to take our order. Then we had to wait over thirty minutes for our food to arrive. It arrived warm, not hot. We didn't leave until after 1130. Overall, I'm not very happy.

Our favourite place for a breakfast treat when we're in the area. Adults and kids all well catered for alike. It can be busy for weekend breakfast, so we always make sure to book ahead. But regardless of how many customers are in, Cleo and the rest of the team always have us looked after. We'll be back soon!

Not enough staff only one poor assistant who was hard working and trying her best ,but too much to expect of one person , continental area half empty no plates and bowls untill customers asked when could find staff member, a staff member that was there as a customer was having to help out, only tropical juice no fresh orange ,,customers were waiting since 9am for there cooked breakfast and this was at 10.30am , When our breakfast came it was just luke warm not hot as should be/expected, toaster took too long , was our first time here for breakfast and was sadly disappointed.

Busy but not too noisy for lunchtime visit (approx 1pm) on a Saturday . Service was excellent , drinks arrived super quick. Food was hot ,well presented & good value for money .Small dessert portion with hot drink was actually not that small! Friendly helpful staff ,highly recommend a visit .

Brilliant atmosphere and food was all cooked fresh everything warm on plate which is rare to find. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Served by Chloe who seemed to thoroughly enjoy her job and was very helpful and friendly.

Six of us Went on a Sunday at 4pm for a family meal (we had pre booked) five adults one well behaved four year old and waited for someone to actually come over and get us seated. We waited over an hour before the three starters came out (keeping my ,by now, hungry granddaughter entertained and a ridiculous amount of time before the dinners came out....not only that but we could see them sitting on the kitchen hot plates.under the heat lamps, and it wasn't until I was making a move to go up and get them myself that a waitress came over and said sorry and went and got them. I had the £20 steak. It came with very few chips, a single dried out mushroom, a half tomato and a single wilted piece of greenery under it and two , by now, hard fried eggs on the steak that I ordered extra. My mother left her roast potatoes as they were horrible, and also cold. Some of her roast beef had obviously dried out and was inedible as well. My fiancée left most of the pastry of her pie as it was dry and hard (she said the filling was nice) My son said his burger and fries was ok. This is the second time we have tried this beefeater (the last time was no better with meals being returned and an overpricing error on drinks mixers) We will no longer be returning to this branch again until they actually employ enough staff, and staff who care and a new management that can manage. The toilets also had an aroma when I went and my son told me daughter in law to take.my granddaughter next time as the seat in the men's was broken. She came back saying the ladies were not much better. So I consider food and service wise, it was £152 wasted... Not a small amount by any means We have unanimously decided that in future We will drive the extra twenty minutes to the Sir Thomas Wyatt Beefeater, as their food and service are extremely good or drive to the Toby carvery. Very VERY Disappointed and would not recommend this place to anyone

On mothers day had to wait one and half hours to sit at our booked table 3hours waiting to have a 2 course meal then to be told there was no roast pototoes left no apple crumble no cream. We had 2 disabled people with us that should have been home to take tablets as it took so long we werent able to have a pudding.It looked like they had overbooked massively felt sorry for the staff run off their feet.wont be going back in a hurry.

I just wanted to give a huge shout-out to Natalie. She handled everything amazingly. She greeted, took orders, cleaned, served, and everything else. On top of this all, her customer service is phenomenal and very professional.

Absolutely disgusting roast lamb meal for myself. Other members of my family had different meals and they too were not impressed. So much was wrong with whole visit to The Manor Farm on Mother's Day 2024. Massive complaint will be made to Complaints Manager at Whitbread.

Ordered our food and wine. Starter came out and still had to ask for wine again, which took a while to come to table. We saw our food under the heater ready to be taken to our table for at least 15 minutes. We were finishing our meal and staff came in and started cleaning with a hoover. Males were cleaning the female toilets and no signs were put outside to indicate this. We visit Beefeater quite often and have never experienced anything like this. The food was also not up to the usual standard. Very disappointed. Also staff were shouting to each other across the restaurant.

We reserved online for 9pm but were then informed that we needed to get to the restaurant by 8:30 since the kitchen would close at 9pm. Why it was possible to make a reservation after the kitchen was supposed to be closed was anyone's guess. So we rushed to beefeater as quickly as possible and arrived 15min early to an empty reception. We waited for 10min before deciding to cut our losses and go for something else. Judging by the other comments here I think we were right to do so since others have had to wait for over an hour. It was embarrassing since I was the one who had made the reservation.

Lovely food! Steak cooked to perfection! Great price! Staff were outstanding! Joseph and a lady (didn’t catch her name) very attentive, friendly and ever so welcoming! They definitely deserve the recognition. They both made my dining experience 10 times better

Booked a table for 12.30 on Saturday 17th February for my wifes birthday. but received a phone call from Manor Farm at 17.30 on 16th to say that due to staff shortage, they have to cancel my reservation

Booked a family breakfast for 9:45am and was greeted by a large line, to then see no one at the front desk. Customer service 0 stars but I can’t put that so 1 star for you manor farm. Ended up leaving and having an amazing breakfast at cafe nucleus in Rainham precinct 5 stars cafe nucleus

I met on Thursday evening at 7pm we were early advised to wait in bar for 5mins and we had to chase after 15min it was visible that there was a lack of staff. Once seated the staff was quick to take our order bring our drinks. Our order didn't arrive for another 1hr and that was with us asking. The whole place smelt of an over powering air freshener. Its a shame as I feel with the correct staff etc it would be a truly lovely place to go to .

Service from Michelle was amazing! Food was very good the fries could have done with a little longer as well as the gammon but the steak was amazing. Starters and mains very well presented. Will come again!

Typical run of the mill chain restaurant. Nothing much is wrong, it's just not great - feels like there going through the motions rather than trying to deliver a memorable meal. Unfortunately this is very much the case for most restaurants in the UK post covid.

Had both breakfast and evening meal here whilst staying for work, Management staff were excellent. Extremely customer focused and nothing was too much for them. Food was great and HOT.

Fair prices but long waits due to not enough waiting staff.

Having booked a table for two on-line, we arrived 15 minutes early and waited in the growing queue at the Concierge desk. It was 20 minutes before anyone came to the desk. Customer before us wanted to book a table, but were told that no tables were ready yet, as on-line bookings were being prioritised. They were told to get a drink at the bar, until a table was made ready for them. When we finally got to the desk to confirm our booking, we were also told to go to the bar to await our table. We were left waiting for over 45 minutes to be seated. Despite booking on-line, and repeatedly going back to the empty unmanned concierge desk to find out how long we needed to wait, nobody came to assist us. An hour after we 'booked in' we still had not been seated, or spoken to. Fed up with waiting, we left in disgust!

Food was good this time. Our waiter Joe was amazing as always. Rushed off his feet but always cheerful. Worth his weight I'm gold. I do hope Beefeater appreciate him.

We did not book but front if house managed to fit us in. Thank you. Unfortunately the place did not meet any sort of expectation. The waitress, although very pleasant was run off her feet, if we hadn't of called her over I hate to think how long we would have continued to wait. Our food selection was chicken & rib combo. The ribs were OK but the chicken was dry and like an old piece of leather. We asked for ketchup but the waitress forgot. Two of the smallest pieces of corn on the cob I have ever seen!! The whole place looks shabby and tired. Will probably not go back. Shame really used to love going here.

We always bring our autistic son here and the staff always go above and beyond for his needs. Unfortunately one of the cooks on shift relatives was trying to intimidate the lovely lady at front of house, the lady dealt with it professionally and took the gentleman outside. This is unfair that staff have to be spoken too and shouted by someone who works here relative all because he wanted her shift to finish early he made it very clear and a show up in front of the staff here. The cook clearly didn’t care how her family member was treating her colleagues in front of a restaurant full of people. Shame on her and hope this is dealt with so staff haven’t got to be spoken like that

Horrendous. We booked a Boxing Day meal for 12 and it was awful. Apparently some staff hadn't arrived which is quite usual there now but, our tables were not properly laid, they were dirty and the festive side consisted of 3 Christmas crackers presumably left over from the previous day. The food was awful, the chicken gougon starters weren't properly cooked, the roast dinner was obviously warmed from frozen, potatoes not very well re-heated, there were hardly any vegetables and the brussels were not cooked. The steak recipe arrived with a greasy "red wine" sauce, totally inedible. No sauce was served with the pigs in blankets, the gravy was served in tiny jugs so had to request extra, this took some time to arrive. The deserts were also appalling, the apple pie was just uncooked stodge and cold so extra custard requested to warm it. The ice cream deserts were just slopped into glasses. The service was awful and actually had to chase around for drinks, extra food and the bill. We have been here many times in the past but it is really becoming tatty, poor food, filthy toilets, not enough staff. The only good thing about it is the staff are always helpful and friendly but that doesn't make up for the rest.

Food pretty good for a chain; steak not great though. Service is friendly and accurate but a bit slow might just be because it’s Christmas period. I think it’s a bit pricy but ok if you can get a voucher for a discount.

Food was ok but seems as though there is not much care given in the kitchen apart from when you get your dessert! We had a great experience with our waiter Joe! He couldn’t have done enough for us. He was very friendly, polite and very knowledgable on the menu items.

If you're staying at the Hotel and you need breakfast, then an unlimited full English is pretty good for a £10. I can't really complain about the quality of the food, but nor can I suggest that it's fabulous. Everything was cooked reasonably well. The bacon was a little dry, but fried eggs still had a little runniness to the yolks. I'm a fan of black pudding so it was great to receive a soft pudding rather than the shoe leather that others have sometimes thrown on a plate. Here's an unnecessary bugbear; you can't order a side of toast! Instead you are invited to use the 2-slice TOASTER at the buffet table. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that this cheap, domestic toaster is the slowest toaster in all of England. It took FOREVER to partially toast 4 slices of bread for our table. Expect stiff, white slices at the end of your toasting experience. Oh, and don't even bother trying to toast a crumpet. No matter how long you wait, that sucker won't brown for all the gold in the Tower of London. I thought the people behind me may get a little agitated, but it became such a laughably bad experience that I ended up having a giggle and a chat with strangers. For a reasonably sized restaurant, one fresh coffee machine and one 2-slice toaster just doesn't work. We waited for the machine to be emptied before we could press buttons. When we pressed buttons the beans had run out, so we waited some more. Somebody needs to re-imagine the Manor Farm Beefeater. The decor is tired and it feels quite dark inside. The format for breakfast is clumsy and the buffet set out in the wrong place altogether. It's not all bad. The staff are friendly, despite being slightly overstretched. The prices are very reasonable for what you get and there are tables of different sizes to accommodate most requirements, including larger families. It's just not presently a go-to place for breakfast, unless you're already staying at the hotel.

sadly an average meal out. 😕 so We had booked a table, then the table wasn't ready at the time of our booking. Once sat down service was super slow, with meals ordered they were even slower. I ordered the ribeye steak meal and sadly what turned up resembled a frying steak and not a medium rare 9oz piece of meat. The food was so disappointing but through fear of waiting another 30mins, I ate it and didn't bother reporting my concerns. the main reason was everything was so slow that I could already tell there would be little adequate remedy. Overall the meal was below average, food was poor and service below average. The restaurant wasnt even busy! sorry guys I won't be back.

Meal booked for a 60th birthday - our waitress Michelle Wilson - think that was her last name - was super at every thing from sitting to leaving. She was just so lovely, polite, cheery, proffesional and patient - especially as some of the guests were fussy and kept changing their minds. She was able to answer any questions asked of those fussy few too! Will definitely come back again and hopefully get her again to wait on our table. I did say thank you to her but if you could thank her again from us or ask her manager to thank her again on our behalf that would be great. Thank you Manor Farm and thank you Michelle. From 'the 60th birthday lot!'

Had Xmas meal.it was cold, roast potatoes were dry and burnt. Frozen sprouts not cooked properly Yorkshire pudding soft. Turkey and peas fine. Husbands beer had to be replaced as it tasted off. Not many in restaurant 2 members of staff pleasant and tried their best.
