No words can describe how bad this place is currently. Their orange juice notice for breakfast was the icing on the cake.

OK. if you want a quiet drink. prices a bit more than average.

Service was dreadful, waited 25mins for drinks, none of the staff were motivated, icing on the cake was when we finally ordered food, their was no calamari, fish, curry or sirloin! Staff need to do a customer service course, which was highlighted when we went to another restaurant. Service has severely dropped, very disappointed, especially as was for a birthday.

Went for a birthday meal with friends, found service incredibly slow due to understaffing which seemed mad to me being a Saturday evening. Staff were rushed off their feet waited more than 20 minutes to be served at an empty bar. Took us 4 hours from start to finish to be served 2 courses, very disappointed overall

Really looks and feels down at heel. Seems Beefeater are trying to sell it and no buyers. Staff trying very hard but food was OK but can't think we will return.

Waited over 45 minutes for one breakfast and it was the worst iv ever had in fact I didn't even eat it it was that bad ..the beans stone cold hash browns were yellow and not cooked properly the sausages cooked one side and the bacon was terrible and the fried eggs where more like hard boiled eggs and the whole thing was swimming in grease would not recommend

New Years eve Family meal ruined dreadful most of the lagers on tap were off Carling or Guinness only Bottle soft drinks only Tap/ gun not working The food Starters actually came out After an hour and half the mains actually started to turn up Cold stakes fish not good and a buger sent back 2 hours gone by now Some mains had been eaten some was half way through and a main was still being cooked . What an absolute joke Understandabley we didn't pay but what a terrible start to an end of year event We will not be returning The 5 star for service is for the highly embarrassed waitress who had only been working there for that week She was most apologetic But it wasn't her fault for the poor running / stock ordering of the establishment

Came in for a surprise birthday meal, and the experience was disappointing. We came early and the table wasn’t ready which was fair enough, but after being told to wait and come up in 10 mins we proceeded to have to wait longer to be told our table had been ready for a while. No one came to get us considering it wasn’t busy at all. The little room we was tucked away was nice for our group, but it had felt like we had been forgotten about. It took far too long for someone to come and see us and when she did she seemed totally miserable. When she came to take our order nearly half the menu was out of stock which we weren’t told about beforehand. Then the birthday girl ordered a steak only for half hour later they come through and tell us that they don’t have that steak. It was disappointing- how poor the service was, and then when we had asked for the bill it took over 20 mins to get, we had to go up and ask for the bill. No goodbye or thankyou when we left, everyone seemed miserable- I could have let the wait and the missing items off the menu slide had it not been for the poor service from staff unfortunately. The only good thing was each others company and the food. Big shame

Waited an hour for a starter which never came, after half an hour the waitress forgot to put the order in to the kitchen. Do not recommend at all and ended up walking out without eating.

Value for money, gd food. That is what I said 2 months ago . Don't get me wrong, it still is, but I have the continental breakfast and got to say I eat 2 portions of porridge, but was there Thursday morning for breakfast and ask for 2 portions of porridge and put in same bowl, with what I got was not 2 portions it looked like 1 portion of mcdonalds porridge, when asked got told they changed supplier and they cone in portions size, must be toddler size portions. So for that, sorry, but your score goes down.

Arrived about 5:30 on a Sunday, stood and the stand waiting to be greeted for about 5/10 minutes, when a server finally came was asked if we’d booked a table, we hadn’t. “I’ll see if we have a table available” despite the fact the restaurant was almost empty. Came back after another 5 minutes and sat us. Drink and food order was taken, and many things were unavailable, server had to make 3 Trips back to us to say they’d ran out of something. My wife’s drinks came but mine did not. Other staff around seemed to gather round talking on the other side of restaurant or hide away in corners on their phones. It was very quiet so I could hear the conversations between the servers and kitchen staff, which seemed to consist on bickering back and forth over the myriad of menu problems and incorrect items being sent out by kitchen. Wrong items, over cooked steaks etc etc. Food arrived and I still hadn’t received my drink, i said “sorry I’m still waiting for my drink” to which the server responded “well I did put it in”. It seemed odd to try to place blame on another rather then simply say “very sorry, I’ll get that for you right away” Food wasn’t anything special; steaks were overcooked and wife’s skin on fries were very overdone and extremely dry. At this point we just wanted to pay the bill and leave, so when they took the plates away we asked for the bill, 15 minutes later, we had to ask for it again, 10 min after she came over and said “sorry did you want to look at the dessert menu or bill?” Even the table near us commented on how long theyve had to wait. Eventually we get a card machine, we pay, she asks if we would like the receipt, I say “no that’s alright” and she tears it off and walks away, no goodbye or any words, as we walk past the other staff and stand, no one says thank you or goodbye Probably one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The staff looked like they either didn’t know or care about what to do, food was very subpar for the price, and considering the Malta Inn isn’t too far away and in the same chain where the food and service is much better, I won’t ever be returning to this branch. Looking at other reviews it’s evident now why there has been so many low reviews in recent weeks and months. Do not recommend, do not visit

Service was great and the staff did as much as they could but the menu was severely restricted (not available) and quality of food was OK but not the usual standard we had in the past over many years of visiting!

Went there today and we were greeted by a lovely lady. She asked us where we would like to sit and we said we wanted the large oval table. It started off nice where we were asked about drinks and food but then we had to call the waitress over for the second drinks. She took the order but then she was taking the glass which still had alcohol in. The food was ok but the meal that had ribs and chicken was dry. There were 2 waitresses that brought the food over. One waitress brought the lasagne over accidentally dropped the garlic bread on the table but instead of apologising about her mistake, she just laughed and walked away quickly. She did not ask ‘would you like the garlic bread replaced’. Then she walked up to her manager and was laughing about what she did. This is appallingly behaviour. The second waitress was very abrubt with her mannerism. We had to call the waitresses for the bill or anything we needed. I will not be going back there again!!

On the 17th December i went for a Xmas meal with my brother, father and 10 year old nephew s i was visiting from Italy. When we arrived, we were informed that there was a limited menu on offer due to supply issues, something that had we known before would probably caused us to book elsewhere. However, after looking at the menu before being seated, we all decided there was something we could eat. We all selected burgers after asking the waiter the difference between the 2 that were offered (with no description at all) on the paper menu....burger is a safe choice, right? Wrong!!! Service was very slow but we can handle a wait but what was not acceptable was the poor excuse for a hamburger we were all served! For £17 we were served a hamburger with a single tiny and tasteless piece of meat inside which surely was the cheapest piece of meat that could be sourced, the quality was truly terrible and for £17, quite frankly, robbery! My nephews burger was selected from the child's menu which included a starter and also dessert for £9.....his burger was actually exactly the same as the one we adults were served!! Now, i don't expect Michelin star food at a Beefeater but i do expect something with quality relative to the cost which was a total failure in this instance....based on this experience, i would never go again for free, let alone pay for a piece of meat that a starving dog would refuse to eat!! As we exited we mentioned to the waiter it was the worst meal we had ever had and he was not too interested, i dare say because it is normal service now?!?!? In hindsight, we should have asked to speak to a manger/supervisor and showed them the food before we ate it, no normal person would agree that what we were served was worth more than £5 let alone £17!! We could have honestly eaten a better burger and chips from the local kebab shop and not suffered this poor excuse for a meal. TERRIBLE, cannot even supply something as simple as a decent burger, we spent nearly £100 including our drinks and could literally have purchased better quality ingredients from Tesco for £10 and eaten something tasty and decent.....burger not only miniscule but very dry and tasteless and the sesame bun was also burned too on my own, worst meal ever!!

Arrived just before 9pm on the 26/12/24. Sign on door states closing time 22.00 .. Surely they would cater for the Premier Inn guests ? Oh no . So guess what ! No breakfast for us tomorrow morning..

Had turkey dinner I’ve cooked the last 30+ now kids have all left thought I’d do something different what waste of money and time food was no good turkey was over cooked potatoes were white pig in blanket had no bacon veg I think was just frozen will never use again thanks for nothing

Despite there been a food supply problem and hence a restricted menu, the food was wholesome, tasty and well presented. Staff were attentive and happy. An enjoyable meal for 3 of us. Thank you 😊 🙏

Food looked like it was just thrown on the plate, my fillet steak was over cook not appetising at all, waiting too long for service, and a lot of the choices in food not in stock, the staff was well understaffed.it has gone down to what it was .

It’s a beefeater and wasn’t serving food at 4pm. Ridiculous. Also toilet was flooded to the point I needed my armbands. Oh and £4.50 a soy of sambuca??? Madness

The service was pleasant but extremely slow, waiting 20mins for a drinks order to be taken. Lots of things missing from the menu coleslaw, mixed grill and no burgers to state just a few. When the food eventually came as it sat under the lights for ages, my husband had fish and chips with just 11 chips, my son had gammon which was unedible, I had ribs which were really dry hardly any sauce at all. We have been before as its local for us however we will certainly be thinking twice about going again. We didn't complain about it at the time as I felt I am from the hospitality industry and it spoils the staff day and they work hard enough but the food was just poor.

Awful experience, didn't have the mixed grill available which was the only reason we went, settled on something else, we could see our food sat under the hot plate for at least half an hour before it reached us and it wasn't even busy in there. Place was empty. Such a vast difference from how it was years ago. Will never return.

Waitress was poor. Most of what we tried to order was unavailable. Waited for nearly 1 hour for starters to arrive, which were ok. Waited ages for mains to arrive. Manager was polite and apologised. Still waiting. Got up and walked out. Went somewhere else. Will not use again. Shame.

we arrived and told where to sit, hubby said it's cold due to the doors and the waiter said it ok for me so you can sit there, food was appsalultey discusting you could of built a house with the fish, hard as old boots, hubby's stake was over cooked, not a good experience, won't return.Also came in on Sunday for a drink @ 8.45pm to be told last orders -were closed. We asked to see the manager as it was well before published closing of the establishment (10.30pmon Sunday). As we were staying in the Premier Inn adjacent to Manor farm he served us. We were asked to leave by the back door by 10pm, which we did.

25/11/2024 8.05am waited over 20 minutes in front of house to be seated , nobody came and nobody was to be seen , I could of emptied the place / bar / food , this is the worse service I have ever had ! Needless to say I left and wouldn’t return ! Do not go to this restaurant if you want breakfast as nobody’s there even know it open !!!!

Food seems to have improved alot over the last month. Steak was amazing!!!

We have used this restaurant for a long time now and it never fails to give us a great time,the staff are brilliant and you can always have good banter with them, a great laugh and the food is always top class. WELL DONE ALL THE STAFF AT THE MANOR FARM, ps,we are back next week.

Good size food portions and reasonable healthier choices for those not wanting the usual burger and chips but I fully enjoy my meal experience as the place was just too overheated for me

Siobhan 5846 Manor Farm Gillingham went above and beyond to get me as near to a roast dinner as she could. It was only 3.30 pm on sun 27th Oct and surprised they had run out already, but that's the luck of the i guess. All our 3 meals were hot quick and tasty. Shame can't be said for Malta Inn in Maidstone, awful service there, no professionalism or customer service skills.

Nice meal.but as always Joe the waiter makes it such an enjoyable visit. He is known as Mr beefeater

Haven't been here for many years but thought would give it a try. Waited 10 mins to be seated, given menus, waiting staff (2and one one of them was apparently the manager. Some lad also wandering around in a scruffy tracksuit) disappeared . The manager came from somewhere cleared the 2 tables next to us then again disappeaed. Probably about 25 mins altogether, didnt even ask if we wanted drinks, we got them ourselves. When manager finally did reappear i had to call her over and she said are you ready to order. Then stood behind us where there was a till putting the order through, no personal service whatsoever. Food was quick to come, which wasn't bad. Finished our food and thought we go sit in bar and have another drink, so asked for bill. And again staff did disappearing act. table near us were waiting too again bearing in mind the till was right behind us. Had we had transport onsite we would have walked at the first hurdle but we had been dropped off and had arranged a pickup time. I can see now why the rumours of the closure the sooner the the better in my eyes. Appalling service . Only four tables used at 8pm on a Thursday eve speaks volumes

Food was okay, nothing to shout about but also not complain either. Staff were really nice but the manager was just loud and likes the sound of her own voice. She shut the bar early, but we all had to hear about it. She mocked a member of staff who wasn't there to another member of staff. She definitely needs to go on a management course.

Had Sunday lunch the lamb was just fat therefore had to change and the meal was just warm. The staff very good but the quality of the Sunday roast was disappointing

Went for breakfast on Monday morning, not greeted but we officially met the least enthusiastic waitress we've ever met, I lost count of the amount of time's she rolled her eyes every time we asked for anything, we asked for a jug of water.. didn't get it, we asked for a milkshake... didn't get it, she forgot it too. It had a pathetic buffet table with a few black bananas on it, a pain au chocolat that someone had half eaten and put back and a coffee machine that stopped working so we told the waitress and she rolled her eyes again and just walked off. Atmosphere,...an empty restaurant where a moody useless waitress squeezed us into a table in a corner where three other tables were in use and we had to listen to their conversations as they were all together. Definitely will not be returning to Manor Farm again so they may as well close it down if that's hospitality. Wednesday we went to the Honourable Pilot instead for breakfast and it was 100 times better: food 💯 service 💯 atmosphere 💯

Don’t bother going in here. Staff just don’t care about you. If you can get served I see how beefeaters are just rubbish now. Very poor .

Went here for lunch my wife and myself celebrating our anniversary and having visited other restaurants in the area all week this was by far the best by a long way gorgeous food friendly staff great service

Place was pretty much empty overpriced underate food only went there because,had a discount voucher and was dissappointed talking to staff place is up for sale not surprised by Whitbread took dad down to disabled lift at front of the pub but it was out of order had to help him up steps and then carry up his wheelchair staff were lovely but I last used this beefeater 40 years ago when it first,opened and I think after this it will be another 40 years before I visit again if I am still alive

It takes us 8 years to make a visit to this pretty spot. Spacious, cosy & eye pleasing interior with good services, food & drinks. Love this restaurant chain with the iconic plates c.1970 and hope it still wins consummers’ hearts. Beef is always recommended as the name & purposes of this business🥳

Had a really nice family meal for husbands birthday. Lovely staff good food. One of the nicer family restaurants ard this area....

The floor was covered in food from earlier customers. From where I was sat I was able to see the kitchen and looked at our main courses on the pass for close to 20 minutes while a member of staff wandered around on her phone and the kitchen staff had a very loud disagreement. When our mains were finally delivered to our table, one was wrong and the other had stuff missing. We had originally planned to have main and dessert but after waiting almost 30 mins for our plates to be cleared and dessert order taken, we decided to just get the bill. The table behind us had an even worse experience and was snapped at by the waitress. Overall the worst experience we’ve had - we eat there roughly every 2-3 weeks - we won’t be returning.

Absolutely lovely place to eat. It was very clean, even the toilets. The food was really nice and good prices. Free parking for 3hrs (can also use their car park for £1 per hour or £5 for 10hrs) The staff were incredible. Very friendly and down to earth. Our server, Casey, couldnt do enough for us and we were a large party. Very kid friendly and easy to find. Would highly recommend 👌🏻 Wheelchair accessible and accommodating. Vegetarian options available across the menu and staff make a point to ask about any allergies etc before handing over the menus.

Booked a table online for 9pm, got there and kitchen had closed ! Was refused our booking.

staff did not respond when waiting at booking desk, very unhelpful it seems that we were interrupting them, food was uninteresting, it took ages between ordering and getting the meal, restaurant had only a few tables taken. I would never go there again.

We went for breakfast. We were welcomed by a very cheery lady who explained how it all worked and showed us to our table. For £10.99 you can enjoy unlimited teas and coffees, cereals, croissants and pain au chocolats plus crumpets,pancakes and toast. There's also fruit and yogurts. You then get a full English breakfast, whilst not completely unlimited you can have for example 4 sausages, 3 eggs etc. ( if you can eat that much ) Our breakfast came up nice and hot and our food cooked as requested. The surroundings are quite nice with the layout being in sections and at different heights. It's comfortable and we felt relaxed and unrushed.

Amy the waitress was lovely. There were no plates, glasses, bread for toast at the buffet, and dirty plates left there. No hot water for tea. The cooked breakfast was just about edible. Really disappointed.

The food was ok, just ok but the service was excellent

Definitely needs updating. Food is uninteresting and bland. It would appear copious amounts of barbecue sauce is used to flavour pretty much everything. No sweet potatoes fries. We sat and watched our onion rings cooling on the serving hatch for 10 minutes before they were collected for us, oddly enough we were then warned to be careful as they are very hot. They weren't. Burger mildly warm, chips soggy and warm and the slice of processed cheese in the burger hadn't even started to melt before going cold. Waitress forgot our drinks, so we had to ask for them. Didn't bother with desert as I had lost the will to live by this point. Topped off by the discovery of a not overly clean toilet with no soap in the dispenser. My wife informed me that there was no soap in the ladies either.

Michelle our waitress was amazing. Food tasted beautiful and we always love visiting last minute.

Breakfast cooked food was mainly inedible the waiter was lovely. Recomend the boiled eggs as they are cooked to order, fair bit of choice but cooked not worth the £11.00 per head

Been there twice in the last couple of months and both times they were short staffed. Cooked breakfast was good when we got it but the pastries were not all there either.

Seated promptly cheery greeting. Team member Amy took orders, drinks really lovely and food drinks arrived quickly. Amy was brilliant.

Went for breakfast at 0930. Short staffed. Shown to a table and after 30 minutes I had to go and look for someone to take our order. Then we had to wait over thirty minutes for our food to arrive. It arrived warm, not hot. We didn't leave until after 1130. Overall, I'm not very happy.

Food was amazing, love the new menu. Ribs and chicken were tender and tasty. Amy was a brilliant host too!

The restaurant was extremely busy and the staff were rushed off their feet however this did not hinder the service from our waitress Michelle who done an amazing job with accommodating us. She was as brilliant!!

Our favourite place for a breakfast treat when we're in the area. Adults and kids all well catered for alike. It can be busy for weekend breakfast, so we always make sure to book ahead. But regardless of how many customers are in, Cleo and the rest of the team always have us looked after. We'll be back soon!

Disappointing food, their food has taken a turn back to 1974 (as they like to advertise), service good though..

Not enough staff only one poor assistant who was hard working and trying her best ,but too much to expect of one person , continental area half empty no plates and bowls untill customers asked when could find staff member, a staff member that was there as a customer was having to help out, only tropical juice no fresh orange ,,customers were waiting since 9am for there cooked breakfast and this was at 10.30am , When our breakfast came it was just luke warm not hot as should be/expected, toaster took too long , was our first time here for breakfast and was sadly disappointed.

Busy but not too noisy for lunchtime visit (approx 1pm) on a Saturday . Service was excellent , drinks arrived super quick. Food was hot ,well presented & good value for money .Small dessert portion with hot drink was actually not that small! Friendly helpful staff ,highly recommend a visit .

Brilliant atmosphere and food was all cooked fresh everything warm on plate which is rare to find. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Served by Chloe who seemed to thoroughly enjoy her job and was very helpful and friendly.
