Amazing old school flavoured food good portions and hot everything was cooked to perfection the wait time was around 15 minutes and worth the wait the quality of food is good

I’ve been using lower stoke Chinese almost weekly for the last two years and I’ve not once had a bad meal. Fast friendly and fault less food with good size portions.

Better and cheaper than Hoo cash only though 👍 There is nit muc else to say but good Value gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood

The food has improved. Up until recently the food was horrible as there was filled with loads of salt. Today it was fantastic the taste was great and the portions very large. Slightly more expensive but well worth it. The one down side they only accept cash. They don’t deliver, however it was great service. I ordered on the phone. I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes I got there in 20 minutes it was ready as I got there.

Cant say how disapointed I am, used to be average but rubbish now. In 1 year the portion sizes have almost halved yet the prices have raised. The quality is CRAP, my chicken balls were literally rubber bullets, chow mein looked more like tape worm than edible food and had nothing more than 3 rubberised small pieces of chicken, a few bean sprouts and then noodles only! Prawn toast was literally DRIPPING in oil! Very poor! Will not ever visit again! Oh yea and they only take cash! Really? 21st Centry!

Travelled the world eating Chinese and the beef curry here is amazing along with their mushroom rice. Always hot and on time. Shame they don't deliver.

Stewed white mushrooms - well past sell by date - they were wrinkly and tasteless. The kung po chicken looked like popcorn chicken with sweet and sour sauce poured on. The food was generally tasteless - such a shame as like to support local business. Will avoid in the future.

Since I last visited this takeaway the food has improved. They used a lot of salt before but now not much. The thing to remember is they only take cash so you can’t pay on card, also no deliveries. Still room for improvement.

Although, we have being using the Lower Stoke Chinese take away for many years we have noticed that the chef changes often, therefore, the take away varies in taste. We will continue to use it when we do not have time to cook.

Prices have gone up, had 3 meals over the last 3 months the quality standard has gone right down, will not be buying there again, such a shame after 20 years of being very good.

Compramos una, y me quedé muy impresionado con la calidad y el sabor de la comida, la única crítica es que el tamaño de la porción de la salsa curry, sólo lo que se describe como una porción chips, necesita ser un buen medio para llevar la porción, por lo demás bien hecho volveremos.
