Takes 3 hours to get food delivered, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

Ordered through uber eats at 1810, delivery time said between 1910-1930. We waited until 20:15 to call them but then spent 20 minutes trying to get through, both lines were either engaged or just ringing out. When we finally got through, we were told that it was in the kitchen, then told it was out for delivery. The person called delivery courier to see where they were and fed back that it would be here in a minute. It was now 20:35. An awful experience and will not be ordering from them again. Side note just to say the young man who delivered our order was apologetic, kind and very polite and told us that it was his first night. Just a shame that the service of the restaurant let it down!

Ordered via Uber Eats. Food never arrived. Called the restaurant multiple times for an update with no answer, going straight to answer phone. When I finally did get through after an hour, was given the usual excuse food had just left. Still didn’t turn up after 20 more minutes. Very poor services and Uber Eats just passed the buck.

Wouldn’t even give this 1 star!!! Order arrived 3 hours late, delivery driver was lovely and advised it’s because they’ve had over 3000 orders tonight?! Well maybe stop accepting orders if you’re overwhelmed!! No apologies or explanation from the restaurant. Wouldn’t even give a discount despite it being late. Despicable service, and impossible to get through on the phone. Food wasn’t even that nice, extremely disappointed.

Sorry, but all the recent reviews are bad only on delivery. Do a collection. Simple. Make the time and effort and wow it is worth it. Have been put off with delivery myself of recent but did collection. Big enough of an order at £60 to be in a box and was there ready, complete, correct and still warm by time got back. This was Friday night service too and it was perfect. Have tried tangs, Davis estate and fair view and we find this far superior. Taste. Ingredients. Quality. All amazing. Sea weed, satay chicken, s&s balls, spring rolls, beef and ginger/spring onion. All epic and the chowmein is always lovely with the amazing smokey taste. So DO not be put off as the food is simply some of the best in Medway from what is in our area at least

Chicken Chow Mein was really nice, but their customer service is awful, also try to charge you for delivery even though you have free delivery with Uber One, I wouldn't order here, if you have an issue i highly doubt they will help you or resolve the issue. I went to Hunky Dory in Gravesend and the lovely young lady there was patient and helpful, food was also great, so definitely better options out there.

The chow main chicken was very old and smelly makes my children get very sick and was in hospital and I already report it to medway council and other services to stop make people suffer as I did

Placed an order for a delivery time 0f 19:40 - 20:00 no later than 20:00 and it's 21:21 and it has just been delivered......

The worst experience - I ordered a £80 Uber eats order for the family and they called me to add £5 for delivery even though we have already paid this. The man advised it will take over an hour as we are 3 miles away and then rushed to cancel my order. Now he is charging me £65 claiming that the food was already made. Shocking company and even worse service!!

We actually visited the restaurant and it was superb ! Most of the reviews here recently are complaining about third party deliveries. Perhaps before paying too much attention to the whining about "..took 2 hours and was cold..rang 37 times.." why not try eating in ? The food was very good and tasted fresh. For starters we tried hot and spicy soup and spring rolls. Both excellent. For mains we shared beef in black bean sauce served on a sizzler, also duck in sauce and char sui pork and egg fried rice all wonderful. Of course, in the restaurant, the food was delivered (to the table) in a few seconds after a short journey from the kitchen where it was cooked. Everything was piping hot, fresh and very tasty. Staff were friendly and efficient. Great value.

Tried to order on Uber Eats. Called us and demanded me to pay more even though uber were already charging us. Swearing at us, very threatening. Vile.

Absolutely ridiculous. Ordered 4.45pm it's now 8.20pm and not had the order. Rang 4 times the order was on the way at 6.30pm but still not here?? Shambles of a company. Food isn't even that nice but was the only one open at the time. Also answer the phone every hour or take it off the hook. Managed to get my money back off Uber but never again will I use this shop.

Well where do I start!! Firstly, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! It is by far the worst chinese in medway!! I never leave reviews but the food was absolutely RANK. The prawns were extreemly overcooked, the chips were soggy with grease, the batter on the salt and pepper squid was also soggy. The ribs were unedible, me and my partner couldn't even chew the meat down. All the veg within the dishes were over cooked, didn't have a crunch to them like Chinese veg usually does. Prawn toast was also disgusting. The only 1 thing nice about this was the sauce on the ribs and that is it!! As if waiting almost 2 hours for it wasn't enough... shame on this resurant for they're poor quality of food!!

Ordered a deliver via Uber Eats at 18:45 , delivery time quoted between 19:20 & 19:40. At 20:55 nothing has arrived. Tried contacting via Uber App & phone. The calls goes straight through to a voice mail box saying you can't leave messages! My advice is to go elsewhere for deliveries!

Ordered on Uber eats food arrived within 15 minutes I've honestly never received Chinese this quick, I ordered 2x special fried rice,salt and pepper wings and sweet and sour chicken balls, free prawn crackers and food was an easy 8 out of 10 , reading some of the comments I nearly cancelled my order I'm glad I didn't.

Although I initially thought they had done me a favour by cancelling my Uber order and taking it over the phone which was cheaper, the food then took nearly 2 hours to arrive and the order was wrong. The first time I phoned to get a refund, I was hung up on. The second time I did get the refund but no apology and I got the distinct impression this is a regular occurence for them.

I ordered from here at 19:10 Food did not arrive until 21:15, I ordered Roast chicken from the English dishes which is also with the Omelettes and asked for no Peas due to allergy, this was ignored. When i called them they refused a refund and stated it is because they are busy. I will not be ordering from here again and would not reccommend them to anybody. If you want a good Chinese takeaway i reccommend China Spice

Ordered food via Uber, would love to comment on food but still waiting for it to arrive 3 hours and still counting. Would also love to comment on service bot as of yet none reciuved. Phones not answerer, 1 line straight to voice mail and other line voice mail full (probably unanswered complaints) tried the website and used teed back option, guess what still awaiting reply. So conclusion is they either do not care, or flying the food in directly from China. Do not use

Waiting over and hour and a half for my food that never showed up and repeatedly tried to call restaurant with the phone number provided and was left with no answer and then after the hour and a half my order was cancelled

Ordered through UberEats - customer service is absolutely trash - ETA for one delivery was 7:30pm-7:50pm. By 8:40pm there was no sign of food. Attempts to contact the restaurant (5 calls) went straight to voicemail. UberEats advisor also attempted twice to no avail. Incredibly disappointing. Second time the incredibly delayed delivery has happened to us. The lack of communication is even more shocking! 0/10 do not order unless you're prepared to wait hours for a meal!

Ordered online through their website for the past year or so. The delivery times get worse and worse. They say 45 minutes, that's only ever happened once. It's always 90 minutes plus. So, order in good time. Every time we call it just so happens to be 'on the way' which seems disingenuous. But food is delivered hot. Overall, they have good sized portions, always tastes great and the best we've found in the area. But the delivery times are starting to affect this opinion now.

Ordered online through their website, the food did take quite a while to get here but didn’t mind, when it arrived the portions were very big and affordable ( ordered a large) and tasted good. This is the fourth and only decent Chinese restaurant I’ve tried since moving and honestly gonna stick with them for a while till a find a new one. Overall 4/5

Absolutely disgusting customer service. This is the second time I have ordered from the restaurant and both times items have been missing. I called the restaurant to explain and on multiple occasions they have hung up the phone on me after having awful attitudes. They sent a driver out to me to re- deliver the missing items, only for them to still have items missing, every time I called up they would cut the phone on me. I will never be ordering from here again. They need to gain some respect for their customers.

My first time ordering takeaway from this place was brilliant. Super easy to order on their website and very clear (and extensive) menu. Great prices considering what takeaways can cost nowadays. Delivery time estimate was 45 mins and it did arrive within that time which was great. The food was hot, well packaged and each dish was delicious! No issues at all and the order was exactly as expected. Highly recommend! 😃

Ordered for a delivery at 8:50pm was told be 45minutes. Hour and 10 mins went by rang up said it was on its way. Nothing had arrived anytime soon. Got to 10:40pm just before closing, I rang back up to enquire how long. No answer. Tried until 11:00pm and nothing. If they didn’t want to take the order they only just had to say. No dinner for us tonight. Been going here for years. Past couple of times been longer delivery time which isn’t an issue if they also didn’t forget our items. Absolutely terrible! Will not be going here again. Loyal customer for 2-3 years. No more. Bye bye! DO NOT RECOMMEND

DO NOT ORDER ON UBEREATS!!! They don’t deliver. Every-time I kept calling them the line was busy. Someone picked up once and said my order would arrive on 15 minutes, I never received my order at all. I waited over two hours thinking it was going to arrive. If they don’t have a driver then they should inform ubereats and cancel the order, not keep it going. Now I have to wait a whole 24 hours to get a refund. Disgusting!

The food is nice, but after a 2 and a half hour wait, and being hung up on twice, as well as 2 items being missing, we won’t be back. Only saving grace is the lovely delivery driver. Oh and also, small tip to the restaurant, try actually answering the phone with maybe a, “Hello, Jade Garden,” etc, as opposed to the grunt we got both times. Really disappointed.

Tried ordering from here, my mum tried to see if they could do the food gluten free they couldn’t but we still went through with the order. They cancelled the order so we thought it was a mistake. Tried ordering again and they cancelled our order again even though we put a note explaining not to cancel the order. Got so frustrated we just ended up ordering from another place. Never again.

The service was very poor as they served us while aggressively chewing on something, the food wasn't worth the price especially since it was quite expensive we expected the food to atleast taste good but instead we all went home sick vomiting. The building itself needs renovation as by just looking at it from the inside you could tell it is an old building from the peeling paint to the stains on the ceiling, although we sat well away from the entrance door we were still cold despite all of us wearing jackets. I would definitely not recommend this place as we travelled 40 minutes to go there just to be disappointed

Had a takeaway delivered today, it really was excellent, within an hour, hot and very tasty, no complaints will definitely use Jade Garden again, thank you.

Was a great go to Chinese, now new owners? have reduced it to a very mediocre Chinese. No atmosphere, food bland, a few menu items unavailable, hygiene questionable. Didn't enjoy experience at all, final nail in coffin when ordered desert, and asked for banana fritter was told the kitchen was too busy to make it, despite there being only 3 other tables occupied in restaurant. So paid bill and left with no one in group having desert.

Two weeks in a row I have been and ordered our take away in the restaurant. The staff were nice and food was nice but both weeks I have got home and had missing dishes. We drive 15/20 minutes to get to Jade Garden passing at least two others Chinese restaurants on the way. I think we’ll stop at one of those next time…

Food was ordered via UberEats, own staff delivered. Delivery was on time, lady was polite. Food was lovely. Will definitely order from here again.

Ordered online so I could pick it up after work, one of the meals had mushrooms in them so my partner could not eat as she has allergy against them. So following we Ordered again but left a message asking for no mushrooms, and once again it had them just proves they don't read customer instructions. Next time I Ordered in the shop again asking for no mushrooms, when it arrived I checked for mushrooms and there was none. The following week I again ordered online, and once again there was mushrooms. It's under new management bring back the old owners.

It started off rocky, with the plates being dirty and needing a wipe down, some of the reviews on Google left us wondering how good of an experience we were going to get. However, once food arrived all preconceptions were blown out of the water, the Cantonese chicken was fantastic, the Szechuan pork was killer, and the special mixed rice was filled with various meats and gorgeous! Atmosphere was slightly off, with a flickering light and less than clean carpet. Once we were done, my sister said she wished she could take home the Cantonese sauce and the waitress was lovely, she went to the kitchen and asked for some of the sauce to use while at home and the kitchen delivered! This was amazing service and left us feeling very cared for. Would recommend.

Disgusting place. Offer for shredded beef, buy one get one free. The problem is there is no beef in shredded beef. No meat at all really. No wonder it's on offer.

Ordered for home delivery. Have been using this particular Chinese for a while now. Food is very nice Portion sizes are good. A lady usually answers and is very helpful. As in my partner always makes changes to his dishes and they always make it to how we ask. Food is always hot on arrival.

Having not been here in about 10 years we decided to pay a visit to what was once a beautiful restaurant. Sadly not anymore. The carpet was so filthy my shoes stuck to it and it looked as though it hadn't seen a vacuum in many year. The ceiling a few tables away from the kitchen had caved in and looked as though it was ready fall down as we ate. The walls are dirty and the door to the kitchen was disgusting. I ordered Cantonese chicken and was presented with sweet and sour chicken! The waitress argued with me and after first telling me it was sweet and sour then tried to tell me it was Cantonese! The food was mediocre at best and I would never eat here again, judging on the state of the restaurant I would hate to think about what the kitchen looks like.

I would give no stars if I could. I will NEVER get a Chinese from here again. Prawn toast with ,what looked like, Scowering brush residue on it and my sons Sweet and Sour Chicken had so much bone in it, he literally had to spit it on his plate. We are getting dinner somewhere else tonight bit £30 down for nothing. Worst Chinese I have ever had. Note to self.......wait for them to at least get a Food and Hygiene rating as it still does not have one 🤢🤮
