Order from here twice now and on both order I had the best Chinese from here think will only have this Chinese shop for now lovely food here never will go anywhere else i have only just recently order from here and i think I will do so for now on best Chinese shop

Ordered from Uber eats. Delivered with 35mins, 0.7miles distance to premier inn. Stir fry with “Wok-hei” taste. Properly packed in reusable containers, microwave safe) Must inform to separate sauce or soup (if any)

Absolutely tops! Freshly cooked, was still piping hot when we got home 20 mins drive. Sweet and sour chicken balls, really great and plenty of. Special rice had proper chicken and pork as well as veg in it. Proper hand made and freshly cooked and good price, will be back. Looking at last reviews I think it has new owners, so give it a go

We ordered on Valentine's Day so knew that the delivery would take a while. Ordered online. Very polite delivery lady. Food was incredible!

Food was cold and take 1hour 30 minutes to arrive and rang to find out where my delivery was I got told 10 minutes it didn't arrive and very bad customer service I won't be ordering from you again absolutely won't be get my money any time soon

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Ordered via Uber Eats, food was absolutely disgusting and inedible due to the amount of salt that was used, we had to throw our dinner's in the bin. I would not recommend this restaurant, and will not order from here ever again. Very disappointed customer 😡 In addition to your reply, the order was placed on Saturday, so I don't see how this is deceiving. Am I not allowed to review your restaurant on a day where you are closed?? Furthermore, I am giving an honest review of the experience I received from your restaurant, your dismissive response is very disappointing. It is abundantly clear that you don't like negative feedback.

I don't get all the bad reviews, I suppose ppl are more likely to post with a bad experience than they do with good experiences. I'm quite fussy where I order Chinese take aways from, new jade is usually my first choice when I want a Chinese. Never had an issue and we order every month from here, food has always been lovely, out of all the times I have ordered only one time have I waited just over an hour due to ordering at abusy time, other than that it's always come super quick, hot and tasty.

Very disappointing. Used to be good but gone severely down hill and wouldn't recommend ordering from here. Food came cold and some felt under cooked previously, gave them the benefit of the doubt, ordered again and again cold and needing reheated plus items missing. When called to complain the lack of care and interest was terrible. When said would be losing custom was an attitude of 'oh well'. An attitude like that with terrible food and missing items means we certainly won't be back. Shame. Also, don't go by the prices on the website, apparently to order over the phone the prices are much different and more expensive and also different again to the delivery apps. Minimum 3 different prices for the same food.

Rude staff dont even listen to order and then charges ridiculous prices for 2 chow mains etc because they got the order wrong and charged us for the 2 chow main on first order will now be ordering if i could give them 0 stars instead 1

The only thing on my order that was any good was the salt and pepper squid! Spent £50 and only enjoyed this dish! Won't bother again

Ordered our first takeaway from here today. I had sweet and sour chicken hong kong style. Delivered within 30 mins and it was delicious. I will be definitely ordering again.

Had used this Chinese take away since it opened. Loved the food and loved the service. Was always on time and would always order again. We ordered just after new ownership and the food was tasteless, they’d taken options away from the app menu meaning you could no longer choose portion sizes and they got things wrong. Yesterday ordered again thinking we’d give them another chance and sadly if anything it’s worse. Food is bland! Chefs probably need to realise there’s more to seasoning than salt. The only good thing was the delivery driver who is always on time and nice to chat too as always. We will not be ordering from here again. 2-3 months since last ordered and majorly disappointed! I’d like to say thank you for a lovely meal, but I’d be lying!

If only I could give this establishment ZERO stars. Awful service and even worse customer service. Don't waste your time or money. After waiting 3 hours since we ordered on UberEats, they decided to clear the order as delivered with the food not even arriving. After calling they pretended as though the order wasn't even placed. Will never attempt to order from here again (wont be recommending this place outside of this platform) and you shouldnt either.

The 1 star is for the decently quick delivery. Ordered from here on Uber Eats last night. I usually order from magic wok but had an offer on UE so decided to give this place a go. Got my usual crispy shredded chicken in chilli, a chow mein, some satay sticks and my partner got a chow mein, some rice and curry sauce. My crispy shredded "chicken" was chicken less. Not even joking when I say it was just pieces of batter covered in a disgustingly sweet sauce. There was not one piece where i could taste or feel chicken in my mouth. The 'chicken' was not crispy, it was CRUNCHY. I even bit into multiple pieces with confusion trying to find the chicken inside but nothing. My partners chow mein left a burnt taste in his mouth, the satay skewers were a joke too, some pieces were soft and some pieces were chewy, the sauce didn't taste of peanuts at all, more tasted like a diluted curry sauce. The curry sauce looked gelatinous upon pouring it onto the plate. The prawn crackers were stale. Overall, not a great experience and won't be returning again. I felt robbed when I tasted that 'chicken'. Below I attached a photo of what the inside of the pieces look like. This is not what i paid for. If I wanted fried batter pieces I would've just asked.

Not a good experience. Food was awful. Cooking oil was dirty. Sauce was not cooked even remotely correct. Rice dish was wrong. Asked for money back and told that others like it. First time I've ever had to return food anywhere.

Best Chinese I have had in years. Freshly cooked, full of flavour, crispy prawn crackers and spring rolls, beautifully cooked chicken and not a drop of grease in sight. Delivered on time. Highly recommend, this will be my go to Chinese from now on.

Food took an hour and a half to arrive (we live 5 mins down the road). chips and rice were cold and oily and chicken balls tasted stale. The main dishes were thankfully hot - but will not be ordering again. Very disappointed as had heard good reviews. Overall very average.

Never had a worse Chinese in Kent do not ever use took 3 hours ,lied multiple time about when it would be delivered food turned up was cold and couldn’t even warm up

Been using this chinese over 20 years, staff are friendly, food doesn’t take long to arrive either. Never ever had an issue in the 20 years I’ve used them. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I only gave one star because the delivery was prompt,the meal was very poor,they used too be good but I’m afraid that’s all changed now,we won’t use them again!

Used this takeaway for many years, but when we last ordered the food was dreadful, no flavour and not appetising to look at. I rang and asked if they had changed recipes and was told yes. I suggested they returned to their original recipes on the menu. I phoned to order a couple of weeks later and asked if they had reverted back to old recipes to be told no, but they had had a few complaints. I didn’t order from them and won’t. Food now is dreadful. If you enjoy tasty food, don’t use this establishment.

I have been using new jade for nearly 20 years, it has been the best Chinese ever and the whole family looked forward to getting it. Sadly after tonight they are diff under new management or they have changed there menu, and not for the better. The seaweed which was always my favourite tasted of nothing and was like eating paper, the satay skewers was uterley tasteless and tough, the sweet and sour sauce was very runny and watery. Sadly after 20 years we will not be returning. The other reviews where right that this place has changed. I hope they can sort this proplem out or they will close very soon after losing life long customers like us. We used to have it every new years eve since the millennium... not anymore. very sad indeed that we will have to find another Chinese takeaway. Shame nothing lasts forever.

This used to be one of the best takeaways in Gillingham for a number of years. Tonights takeaway meal was terrible. The staff had changed, the food standard was poor with smaller portion sizes and the food was greasy and not pleasant to eat. I will be seeking an alternative Chinese takeaway from now on.

What’s happened????? Has this place changed hands?????? Been going here years and food has always been great, but tonight it was absolutely terrible. Didn’t recognise any of the staff at front or in kitchen and the dishes, although ordering the same, are totally different. Chips swimming in a dishwater looking sauce with no flavour, and other dishes bland with half the usual ingredients missing, most of the meals went uneaten as they were just not palatable. Such a shame, total waste of money and really disappointing, won’t be using again if this is the standard of food that is now being produced

Ordered a special curry - easily the worst I’ve had about 2 pieces of meat and the rest was made up of onion. If I’d of ordered an onion curry I’d of been happy but shocking food tonight

Order a chinese and twice they give the wrong items so you call up to get them to sort it and they say its there fault but they wont fix it unless you pay extra for it ??? What a shocking way to run a business dont use them no more
