When looking for a stop for a tea and cake that wasn't a takeaway or pub, we found this bicycle repair shop which served a selection of teas and coffee, home made cakes and freshly made toasted sandwiches. Friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic owner. Highly recommended. Well worth a visit.

The Selsey Arms, you have really outdone yourself tonight! Bar staff have gone above and beyond for us tonight, friendly and approachable. The food just keeps getting better and better. I cannot recommend this country pub enough.

Our club held their annual dinner gathering here last week. It was a new venue for us, but we will be coming back! As there was a large number of us, we had to pre-choose our food. The selections for us were very tasty and, without exception, everyone really enjoyed it. The monkfish and the sauce was standout and I would highly recommend it. The vegetarian choices were also delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a separate area for the group which was very cosy. Nicely decorated and had a warm atmosphere.

We go out for a meal locally every Thursday evening and tonight we had the worst meal we have ever experienced. Over cooked very small prawns for a starter each and pathetic portion of ribs on a cold plate for our main course. Apparently they have a new "chef". Well they need to sack him or her. Very embarrassing for the very pleasant bar staff. We won't be troubling them again.

The Garden Room was the perfect location for the Reception after my Mother's Funeral. Karin and other staff went above and beyond making the afternoon special for us. I could not have asked for more.

I have used this bakery for a while for lunches and it has never disappointed. More than generous portions, great food, clean and tasty - worth the trip to Partridge Green as it knocks spots off the over expensive bakery in Henfield …. And far more reasonably priced!

This is a fantastic Inn, very warm and welcoming. Food is superb and very tasty. My room was clean and warm and beautifully decorated. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately we felt on this occasion the food really was not up to the usual standard - whitebait over cooked - chips not their usual crispy delicious standard - but everyone has an off day and we said it would not deter us from returning HOWEVER we found out as we were leaving that after 14 years of trading the Orchard is due to close at the end of September 😔 So sad as , as a family some who are no longer with us it was always are “go to” place for a good quality home cooked meal . So what ever the owners plans are for the future we wish them good luck 😋

Have been here many times for lovely light lunches with a pretty salad. However that has now all gone. Lunches are awful and badly cooked and served with. CRISPS. Tuna melt lunch was horrid. Will not eat here again. Why change something that was so nice.?

Always consistently good food, best plum tomatoes ever, staff generally happy and friendly, can get very busy, and the people that go there are nearly always happy friendly and chatty…. Fills you up for the day. Great value and very unique
