Just had a lovely chilli and jacket spud meal with my friend, really delicious and filling, would definitely recommend. The cakes looked lovely and yummy too

When looking for a stop for a tea and cake that wasn't a takeaway or pub, we found this bicycle repair shop which served a selection of teas and coffee, home made cakes and freshly made toasted sandwiches. Friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic owner. Highly recommended. Well worth a visit.

Great brevets steak lunch , one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. It was presented on a bed of spinach and a portion of potato lyonnaise. Well presented, promptly served but portions were a bit small. The steak was delicious but I personally felt a larger portion of potato lyonnaise would have made this a 10/10 . I left slightly hungry but thoroughly enjoyed this steak. Friends had a pottage of smoked haddock that they both loved.

Love this pub. Some of the most amazing food in the area. Can't wait to go back there for their VE celebrations. Always a great welcome - and the cocktails are damn good too!

Great pub for all .We went with family and friends ,it was warm and welcoming . The food was excellent great choice from main and children’s menu’s.The food was delicious and the portion sizes were great . The staff were were excellent,very helpful and great with the kids .We will definitely be going back .

I have used this bakery for a while for lunches and it has never disappointed. More than generous portions, great food, clean and tasty - worth the trip to Partridge Green as it knocks spots off the over expensive bakery in Henfield …. And far more reasonably priced!

Always found the fish and chips to be of good quality and I'm from the North East where we lived on them. LOL. Fish is usually cod and great quality and measures - chips may be too many. Enjoy.

What a lovely restaurant, nice relaxed atmosphere and decor, staff were great, friendly and welcoming, very efficient and attentive, no waiting about which was great, didn’t wait long after ordering our food too and great coffee of which is a must for me, the Fish and chips was Very nice, freshly cooked I could tell, good temperature and flavour very nice, good portion too, Ploughmans had by friend, looked very nice too,she said was very enjoyable, very nice all in all, and reasonably priced,Fantastic Restaurant and staff. Highly recommend

We visited the Windmill yesterday for our first time for Sunday lunch. Lovely clean country pub, nice decor. Lovely friendly and attentive staff. I had roast beef which was beautiful, great roast potatoes, and nice to have the veg on the side, finished off with sticky toffee pudding. We all really enjoyed it and will be back again.

Unfortunately we felt on this occasion the food really was not up to the usual standard - whitebait over cooked - chips not their usual crispy delicious standard - but everyone has an off day and we said it would not deter us from returning HOWEVER we found out as we were leaving that after 14 years of trading the Orchard is due to close at the end of September 😔 So sad as , as a family some who are no longer with us it was always are “go to” place for a good quality home cooked meal . So what ever the owners plans are for the future we wish them good luck 😋

Called in for a lunchtime snack but the menu is very much restricted these days .Unfortunately the jacket potato was not cooked through despite plenty of tuna filling .As we were in a hurry we didn’t return it (there was a queue) and complaining wasn’t in our timescale.Sadly standards have fallen and we won’t be returning to what was always a good venue.

Huge portions of well-cooked, quality food at very reasonable prices with large mugs of tea. Biker friendly with bikes always in the car park. My wife loved the tomatoes, mushrooms and hash browns. I had so much I had to take home a doggy bag!
