The Windmill Inn - Littleworth in Horsham

This is a fantastic Inn, very warm and welcoming. Food is superb and very tasty. My room was clean and warm and beautifully decorated. Would highly recommend.

We came for a family get together (16 of us) and everything was perfect. Food was delicious, as usual and we were very well looked after. Special mentions to Rosie and Jamie who made sure that everything was in order, they went over and above,and to Lewis for keeping up with the constant flow of drink orders. No mean feat! Thanks again everyone

We had a very quick overnight stay, but this was a gorgeous little place with very clean and comfortable rooms. We only had time to grab a quick sandwich before heading out to a wedding but it was delicious and staff could not have been more helpful and friendly.

What an absolute gem of a pub & hotel, we booked a 2 night stay for a wedding and so glad we found the Windmill Inn. From the moment we walked in the staff couldn’t do enough for us, even carried out bags up to our lovely room. We also enjoyed a delicious evening meal at the pub with a great selection & again first class attentive service. We can’t recommend the Windmill Inn highly enough.

Fabulous roast dinner on Sunday. Lovely food and the staff we great, there when you needed them but not hovering, we certainly didn't feel rushed. Highly recommend this lovely place and will definitely be back again.

Stayed here many times. Its great with our dogs, and we meet a group of friends who live nearby. Food is always good and plentiful! Staff are great Will be back again soon I expect.

A great local gem, food was nice, garden and atmosphere were amazing and the staff so friendly and flexible. They made the stay that much better. We had a really good sized room at the top, lots of space and extra large bed.

I had been booked into this establishment for one night on company business. Having read the positive reviews written about this place I was very much looking forward to staying at this place. My expectations were dashed fairly quickly after having arrived. I was led rather hastily to the outhouse “Boutique “ room I had been allocated. The first thing that hits you is the lack of any kind of window other than I very high skylight window which was in need of a very good clean. The room itself was very small with a very basic shower/toilet add on. Once I had processed this disappointment I thought maybe the food experience will balance it out but it only reflected the disappointment that the room had generated. I had booked a table for 6 o’clock as I was told that this was the start of the evening meals. I turned up on time and was shown to my seat and was given the menu which at best very basic. I chose the lasagne which was in my opinion overpriced for what it was and was not worth the 50 minute wait. I did receive several apologies from my waitress during the wait but did not really help the scenario. Having not been offered and desert option to follow up I decided to leave and travel to another establishment to finish off my evening experience. All in all the establishment was overpriced and not fit for purpose. I can honestly say if I had been booked in for more than one night I would have checked out and would have found other accommodation. Needless to say I will never be returning.

Overnight stay following a local wine tasting day. Beautiful pub- we lucked out on a stunning sunny day and were able to take advantage of the beer garden. The accommodation was just what we needed for an overnight stay. Clean, comfortable and secure. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner was lovely ( we booked- they were busy) We paid for a cooked breakfast but if you wanted the continental it had choice of toast, crumpets, cereal, fruit etc all self service.

First time visit but will definitely recommend the atmosphere friendly staff and very good food made it a very enjoyable time. We will be returning introducing more friends to this lovely pub.

Quick business lunch with my husband as passing through on the way home. Came to eat here on the back of a recommendation. Was told there was no seats inside so had to sit outside, there was also heaters available. I asked them do they come out and take our order of which they said yes? We waited and waited some more and still nobody came to take our order so I got up and went inside and asked them, could they take our order as we ready. In the end, I went in again and gave my order. Our order arrived . To my disappointment, my lasagna was very dry and on the menu it said it came with chips, but there were no chips . So I had to remind to bring the chips out. They also brought the cutlery but there was only one fork yet there was two of us . No napkins or condiments. I felt bad asking our waitress to come in and out as they hadn’t brought everything out in one go. We then had to look around other tables for an extra fork. The food was expensive and felt It didn’t match by look Or taste. Such a shame

We used The Windmill as our base for a visit to Knepp. What a nice country pub! Rooms nicely appointed, clean, and comfortable. The food was good and the staff friendly and efficient. We liked the self-service breakfast arrangement - it suited our needs very well. Would stay again without hesitation.

We had a pleasant 3 nights. Room and bed comfy, quiet and warm but we missed those little luxuries - body lotion, shampoo - we've come to expect, even in a 3* place. Food was excellent and staff accommodating and friendly.

I stayed 5 nights at this inn and felt very welcomed and enjoyed very good pub food. The staff are very helpful and are keen for you to feel comfortable. Old world pub interior with plenty of charm.

Lovely welcoming pub. Room was perfect and plenty room for 15 year old springer poodle Cross. Stairs a little challenging for the dog but we managed. We sat in the lovely old winged armchairs either side of a roaring fire with dog on the floir and a lovely glass of wine. Had dinner there absolutely excellent. Very busy and popular. Breakfast was help yourself continental style and very nice it was. Would definitely stay again dog or no dog. Thankyou all the lovely staff for a cosy and enjoyable stay.

I stayed at the Windmill for three nights. The double room was clean and comfortable. The en suite was clean with a bath and over head shower and both had good water pressure. Clean towels were supplied on a daily basis. I was very happy with the room. The breakfast was continental and perfectly adequate with hot drinks, fruit juice, cereals and Croissant etc. I had dinner on three nights and on each occasion it was excellent. The menu was wide ranging and interesting. The food was tasty with good portion sizes and very good value. I would not hesitate to recommend The Windmill in Littleworth as a place to stay and/or eat.

What a lovely place! Me and my husband stayed here as we were eating at a restaurant down the road. The food we saw looked amazing so we will definitely be going back to try their roast! The staff are so friendly and lovely, they cannot do enough for you. To name a few, Lee, Kate, Emma, Phillipa and Dave - were all very accommodating! (I hope I have spelled the names correctly!) The rooms were gorgeous, with all the amenities you could need. A comfortable bed and a picturesque view from the window. There was also a continental breakfast available as it was a Sunday night and cooked breakfasts are only available at the weekend. This was not a problem at all, there were plenty of options including croissants, pain au chocolates, toast, muffins, flapjacks, porridge etc. We would highly recommend this place and will be sure to stay again if we are ever in the area.

I have stayed before when I am working in the general area. Its really great value. Really clean and comfortable rooms, reasonably priced well kept local ale and good food. I stayed on a Sunday this time which meant the menu was more restricted with roast meals and a few alternatives. It was very tasty and filling. Staff are very friendly. The help yourself breakfast works for me as well as I like to have lighter breakfasts with some cereals, yoghurt fruit. Its somewhere I will continue to use I am sure.

We had an amazing Christmas lunch with our family. The food was absolutely delicious (really good value for money too) and the service was great. We would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

We had booked a table for 12 for our family Christmas meal and although it was a busy day the service was brilliant, it was almost like we were the only ones there! The staff were so helpful and friendly. Everyone also commented on how amazing the food tasted, the portion sizes for all three courses were spot on. My partner and I stayed in one of the rooms that night, it was clean, fresh and there was plenty of tea and coffee! We both had a cooked breakfast the following day which was also cooked to perfection!
