The Windmill Inn - Littleworth in Horsham

We had a pleasant 3 nights. Room and bed comfy, quiet and warm but we missed those little luxuries - body lotion, shampoo - we've come to expect, even in a 3* place. Food was excellent and staff accommodating and friendly.

Delicious food. Lovely people. Cosy room. Perfect after a rainy walk along the Downs Link! Look forward to returning soon.

Lovely welcoming pub. Room was perfect and plenty room for 15 year old springer poodle Cross. Stairs a little challenging for the dog but we managed. We sat in the lovely old winged armchairs either side of a roaring fire with dog on the floir and a lovely glass of wine. Had dinner there absolutely excellent. Very busy and popular. Breakfast was help yourself continental style and very nice it was. Would definitely stay again dog or no dog. Thankyou all the lovely staff for a cosy and enjoyable stay.

I stayed at the Windmill for three nights. The double room was clean and comfortable. The en suite was clean with a bath and over head shower and both had good water pressure. Clean towels were supplied on a daily basis. I was very happy with the room. The breakfast was continental and perfectly adequate with hot drinks, fruit juice, cereals and Croissant etc. I had dinner on three nights and on each occasion it was excellent. The menu was wide ranging and interesting. The food was tasty with good portion sizes and very good value. I would not hesitate to recommend The Windmill in Littleworth as a place to stay and/or eat.

What a lovely place! Me and my husband stayed here as we were eating at a restaurant down the road. The food we saw looked amazing so we will definitely be going back to try their roast! The staff are so friendly and lovely, they cannot do enough for you. To name a few, Lee, Kate, Emma, Phillipa and Dave - were all very accommodating! (I hope I have spelled the names correctly!) The rooms were gorgeous, with all the amenities you could need. A comfortable bed and a picturesque view from the window. There was also a continental breakfast available as it was a Sunday night and cooked breakfasts are only available at the weekend. This was not a problem at all, there were plenty of options including croissants, pain au chocolates, toast, muffins, flapjacks, porridge etc. We would highly recommend this place and will be sure to stay again if we are ever in the area.

The bed and linen was amazing. (I actually got lost in the bed ) Short stopover from LGW. Bit of a find. Shuts at 10pm. Top Notch customer service. 👌

I have stayed before when I am working in the general area. Its really great value. Really clean and comfortable rooms, reasonably priced well kept local ale and good food. I stayed on a Sunday this time which meant the menu was more restricted with roast meals and a few alternatives. It was very tasty and filling. Staff are very friendly. The help yourself breakfast works for me as well as I like to have lighter breakfasts with some cereals, yoghurt fruit. Its somewhere I will continue to use I am sure.

We had an amazing Christmas lunch with our family. The food was absolutely delicious (really good value for money too) and the service was great. We would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

We had booked a table for 12 for our family Christmas meal and although it was a busy day the service was brilliant, it was almost like we were the only ones there! The staff were so helpful and friendly. Everyone also commented on how amazing the food tasted, the portion sizes for all three courses were spot on. My partner and I stayed in one of the rooms that night, it was clean, fresh and there was plenty of tea and coffee! We both had a cooked breakfast the following day which was also cooked to perfection!

All the staff were pleasant and accommodating, the surroundings cosy - especially the log fire, and the food was delicious.

Had an evening meal on a Friday, with excellent guidance and felt very safe. The food was excellent and extremely well priced compared to other restaurants and pubs, the staff are extra welcoming and provide an excellent service.

We usually eat at this pub and it’s usually amazing! Amazing food and lovely staff. Because we can’t visit at this current time we decided to order some pizzas to take away. Unfortunately the pizzas were not as expected and not like ones we had eaten before from the pub. The pizza base in particular looked and tasted like a frozen one from the supermarket! We didn’t end up eating them and it was unfortunately a waste of money. I can only think they sold out and just tried to put something together to keep orders coming. Would definitely recommend normally just not on this occasion.

Smallish forecourt for parking but easy to park along the roadside. Separate bar well supported by drinkers and good well refurbished restaurant areas with interesting photos and prints. These have low ceilings so can be noisy especially as we had a "loud" group nearby. Choice of three real ales and good choice of lagers, cannot comment on wines as we were on the beer that evening. Menu is non gastro, good pub grub but steaks and pies were "off" on our visit which seemed a little strange. Really friendly, pleasant staff but longish wait for main courses to arrive despite not too many other diners. Large portions of well cooked food. Shortish desserts menu, fairly standard. All was well priced.Nice to find a West Sussex village pub not dominated by the food offer.

We stayed at The Windmill Inn on Saturday night, the room as very comfortable, nice decor, everything lovely and clean. Opened the curtains in the morning to a wonderful view of horses in a field. had a very nice meal in the restaurant in the evening and a superb cooked breakfast in the morning. We stayed a little later to watch the Rugby in the morning too, which was a bonus.All the staff were extremely helpful and cheery.
