Just moved to the area and called in on the off chance. Cooked fresh and utterly delicious- clean plates all Roy d. Staff were friendly and food was hot. Will definitely go there afain

We had a large order of 18 meals this evening, and it was all perfect. Great quality and beautifully cooked. Very good value for money. I would recommend this fish and chip shop.

Wasnt planning on a review but spotted a terrible on from 2018 and felt that it was unfair, only because weve only ever had good food from potters in the last few years weve been going in. Its clean, portins are good and they will do scraps (😋) fish has always been clean tasting, chips good. As good as any chippy ive been to. Its also important that while someone may have had a bad experience (or be a local competitor... look in to it) we must try and support local business or it is gone forever.

No idea what the bad review was for but the fact that the reviewer says to go to Henfile fish shop may have something to do with it. I am from the North East and moved to Partridge Green. The NE has some of the best fish and chips and recognised everywhere as such. I have used this chippy quite a few times and have not had any 'bad' fish and chips.

It was just so awful just awful. cannot really provide a hundred characters. chips were the worst ever eaten , greasy and limp.

I've used Potters fish and chip shop since it first opened, as I've now moved about 3 to4 miles away can't get there, I think they are one of the best foods cooked, alway happy to take skin of fish you only have to ask they are happy to please people, all ways friendly and looked after me very well when I couldn't use my hands, as I use a mobility scooter I'm going to get ther this year by riding it down the downs link don't now how long it's going to take but I will do it that how much I would recommend Potters xx

Ordered a large cod a small portion of chips with curry sauce. Love my fish and chips and is one of the first meals I have on my return to the UK. This place did not disappoint. Fish was so good but even for me it was tonight, in the future I would get the smaller portion. Chips were perfect, crispy on the outside and nice and fluffy on inside. Curry sauce was the best I had in a long time. Was lacking my fingers. They have a great system in place during these uncertain times. Will definitely be back for more. Highly recommended....

We moved to Ashurst 4 years ago and “found” Potters one Saturday night coming home from Rugby match. Fantastic fish and chips, have visited frequent over past 4 years and have never had a bad meal. Friendly staff, excellent service and amazing food, batter always crisp and light, chips crispy outside and fluffy inside, fish succulent. Have recommended to all my friends. Thank you Potters!

Moved to Partridge green 6 months ago and have to say Potters fish and chips is really good. Large portions freshly cooked to order.

had haddock and chips tonight - lovely fish and great portions and co19 safeguards very comforting - ordered by phone - staff all wearing protective masks and using handgell.

Have lived locally and used this fish and chip shop for several years. Last week ordered plaice and chips for two - stunning fresh fish and great chips, crisp batter. Ordered again for tomorrow. 5 out of 5 for me.

First time buying from Potters. We walked in through the already open door and whilst waiting for food to cook, we had to stand outside as we couldn’t breathe. We think the oil desperately needed changing and when we got home, the house also smelled of the same and we had to put our clothes in the wash and have showers. God knows what oil was being used but it wasn’t nice. Generous portions but fish and chips were dry. It was the smell of the oil that put us off. We often get fish and chips from other places but we have never experienced this before. Won’t be going there again.

I have bought fish and chips there every Friday for some weeks now. The fish [regular or large] comes in generous sizes [in fact the large can be divided into two, for two diners, if you want to save money] and the chips generally give the impression that they are made from new potatoes - a big plus. The batter on the fish is usually spot on for our liking, At no time have we got the impression, given by the one negative reviewer, that the oil used is old. Far from it. Finally, the medium portion of chips is in fact, by some standards, a large portion. As for the large - it's somewhat gigantic.

First time visit here. I have been to a few around Horsham and this was by far the best piece of fish I've had.Good texture and perfect batter - none of that undercooked white layer between fish and batter. A nice piece of haddock. Chips were good to, not stodgy at all. Fairly light and and firm unlike soft soggy chips from elsewhere.My boy had sausage and chips and he said it was the best chip shop sausage he's had!It was a quiet night when we went so food cooked to order and staff friendly. It is cash only but there is a cash point in the co-op opposite. Which is where I went while they cooked my order. Food served in boxes rather than paper. Enjoy!

Poor quality is an understatement. Uncooked chips, in old oil. Fish, with the skin left on. Very oily batter, soggy inside. Sausage was of very poor quality, looked anemic. We got home, I threw everything away. Do not waste your money, if you want fish and chips I urge you never go to potters, go to Henfield king fish. Quality, service, fresh ingredients, million times better.
