The Bakery in Horsham

I have used this bakery for a while for lunches and it has never disappointed. More than generous portions, great food, clean and tasty - worth the trip to Partridge Green as it knocks spots off the over expensive bakery in Henfield …. And far more reasonably priced!

I visit this bakery most days, very well priced food and coffee. The staff are especially pleasant and hard working, even when they are busy and under pressure. Why the previous lady is commenting on this forum about what is obviously a personnel issue with someone they know and nothing to do with the bakery is quite frankly staggering and very unfair. If I was the abused staff member or business owner I would be taking legal advice!

As a user of the bakery for several years I've recommended it to friends and family all of which have been very impressed with the lovely food and drinks served here. The staff are also lovely ,good natured and a pleasure to see.. This is with no exception!!!! The owner Fred offers very high standards and willingness to always help... 10 out of 10 keep up the good work team.

The bakery is a lovely place to get a sandwich or a roll first class , you can ring and order your food before hand and it's ready

Good luck getting a bap in this bakery. Three times I’ve tried this past month, even before 9am and get told they’ve sold out!! Why not buy more instead of constantly letting customers down? Ludicrous

Quick, easy, cheap, consistently tastey food. ~ Apprently i have to write another 44 Charaters but i think i nailed it in 66.

We order a large amount every Friday and they are always great value and great tasting sandwiches. All the food on the menu can be recommended both for quality and value

Whilst The Bakery does serve food, we use it as a bakery. Living in the village it is easy to get to, the bread is very good, but go early, they sell out quickly. I think many of the staff local businesses get their breakfast / Lunch sandwiches etc. there, and they keep coming back, so it cannot be bad. :-)

A quick well done to all the staff and Fred The owner...Always helfull..Always very tasty..and always very clean... My fav is Fred's chicken curry I have this whenever I can..even for breakfast it's so good..well done all perfect!!!

Popped in for a take away coffee as I was waiting for an M.O.T on my bike. Terrible coffee and cup was only half full after the foam went. Trouble is, it was the same last time I went, but I’d forgotten! Won’t make that mistake again as I won’t be going there again.

I'd recommend anyone to go here for a quick lunch either to take away or eat in. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. On top of that there is a huge variety of sandwiches and hot snacks all made to order.

Popped by for a salad at 12.25 today and before even getting in was told that they could perhaps cook some bacon for us but they were in the process of closing and so couldn’t do anything more. We were told that this took an hour to do... surely the closing time is 12 then, you can’t say you are open till 1 and just serve whatever you want. Shocking attitude and the sort of service that gives small village shops a bad reputation!

My colleagues and I and of course family use The Bakery at least on a weekly basis, the service, quality and range of food is always fantastic. Any mistakes, due to the size of our regular order are dealt with in such a professional manner. Will continue to use The Bakery weekly.

Regularly pop in for coffee or to pick up a sandwich or salad bowl. Very reasonable, great choices and always a friendly face to greet you

Stopped off for a quick lunch of a brown bread tuna and cucumber sandwich. Very tasty with an extremely hot cappuncino. Sat outside. Staff very friendly. Will definitely return.

Pop in quite often to pick up a sandwich for lunch and usually end up taking home a loaf or a piece of cake.

Great cake, cheap coffee and friendly service. Made a Hirt detour to stop and visit whilst cycling the Downs Link.

Always stop here for a baguette when working in the area. Best value and by far the most tasty baguettes for miles.

My son loved the gingerbread men from this bakery! It also had a good selection of cakes and breads for everyone.

Although I live in Partridge Green if I can't be bothered to make a lunch I amble up to the bakery. This is more a take out bakery, but on a nice sunny day there are chairs outside which makes it a very pleasant visit. The choice of rolls and fillings are excellent and what's more important they do not seem to run out of your favourite filling! Reasonably priced with all the food freshly made and, I believe, most of it is prepared on site.This bakery is frequented by a number of the workers on Star Road Industrial site for take out lunch. Most of them are regulars...I know that as I see them passing my house at lunch time with their paper bags filled with goodies!

Great for quick lunch if you want fresh sandwiches or pasta dish. Made while you wait. So fresh. Lots of choices.

This bakers is the best you can get. You can choose anything you want to go in a sandwich or roll all which are made infront of you with fresh ingredients. There is also a choice of hot food too. Seating outside but mainly a takeaway bakers. Friendly staff great food. Excellent value for money and you need to be hungry.e

We use this bakery at least once a week for our customers and staff. The sandwiches, cakes, hot food are absolutely fantastic.Well worth a drop in, if you would like a sandwich Friday or Saturday you will need to order early.
