Had a brilliant lunch. The staff are always really friendly and knowledgable. Steak was really really good - perfect with the beef dripping sauce. Great value and great service! Can't wait to go back

popped in for lunch today (19.03.25) & our waitress, Martina, was so attentive, incredibly welcoming & went above & beyond to make sure all of the party were catered for with allergens etc. :)) top work from the chefs who clearly have a passion for what they do, Martina & Danny with the well trimmed beard on the door :)))

On Sunday evening a good friend of mine and I decided to pop in for a quick bite to eat and we were certainly not disappointed. As usual the steaks were cooked to perfection and in very good time as well! The beers were cold, crisp and gloriously refreshing. But what made the experience all the better, was the fabulous service from our waitress Holly, I believe I had overheard that it was her first day, which we couldn’t believe considering how knowledgeable and speedy she was in every aspect of our service! 5 stars indeed, will be back!

Consistently the best restaurant for steak. My rare fillet steak was cooked to perfection so that it literally melted in my mouth. This was the first time I had lobster tail as well and again it was cooked perfectly. Service from Charlie was highly professional. Efficient and effective and incredibly polite. A credit to the team there.

Had a lovely group meal here everything was well organised and executed from start to finish. Joey truly went above and beyond to cater to the entire party. Look forward to my next visit soon.

A little underwhelmed, Salt and pepper squid had no seasoning at all. Scallops were very small, Ribeye steak was great. Fillet steak was good. Banoffi pie was homemade, but nothing special, banana not caramelised as stated. For £55 a head for three courses, i had expected a little more. We had a great meal the last time we ate here, perhaps it was the day (Sunday) we went. Don't like leaving average reviews but we had an OK meal,

Visited on a Sunday and had their non traditional Sunday roast. Was sceptical at first, but it was absolutely delicious. Succulent steak, lamb and chicken - full of flavour! Highly recommended.

Took the family out to celebrate. my wife's birthday. Once again the experience at M&C Horsham was lovely. Our server, Mareille, took great care of us. Only dropping 1 star on the atmosphere, as it seemed noisier than usual.

Amber went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experience and was fantastic with making sure our daughter was well looked after too! Thank you Amber!

The only reason I gave the atmosphere four stars was the music playing wasn’t exactly set for valentines, more like club classics 😂 in my view a restaurant music should be easy listening.

We visited this restaurant on a Sunday lunchtime with a party of six. First thing that impressed me is that the team had paid close attention to the notes on the booking about dietary requirements and the fact we were bringing an infant in a pram. They made sure we had plenty of room and made sure to signal where we could find baby changing facilities. The waitress was kind and attentive, making sure that we had swift access to the allergen menu for the people in our party with issues. The waitress (I'm sorry, I can remember her name, but she had dark hair and tattoos) was cheerful, pleasant and professional even when dealing with a difficult customer. The food was well prepared and presented and the portions were just about right. Steak is always pricey, but we felt it was a great treat.

We visited for Valentine; we ordered two starters and a cote de boeuf with a bottle of wine. We finished our main course just before 11:00 and asked for a glass of wine. The waitress come back at 11:01 and informed us the bar was shut now. She also informed us we had already had a bottle of wine when I asked why we had not been told the bar was shut or shutting. She replied you did not ask me. We also had not been asked if we wanted desert. Even on your survey you quote 9pm to 12pm as a sitting. When we left there was no front of house at all. I have to say your service ruined our evening and also you reputation. We spent £126.00 with you and I feel this was money wasted.

First time visiting Miller and Carter - where we were pleasantly greeted at the door and shown to our table. Amber (Horsham branch) served us, and was incredibly friendly and engaging and very efficient. It was such a pleasure to be served by her. The food was delicious - shout out to the South African chef! Definitely recommend.

A very enjoyable meal with old friends. One dish, a half chicken, was dry and so not quite up to the usual standard but the others were all excellent. Exceptional staff, particularly in helping me deal with a health episode.

was a dinner for my son’s 10’th birthday. Lady who was waiting our table was very nice, very welcoming and attentive. My son got his cheesecake with a candle and chocolate decorated plate with happy birthday, that we thought was very sweet. Food was excellent and we left happy. we’ll be coming back.

Amber served myself and my father; she was a fabulous host, so chatty but not instrusive, and so friendly. She also informed us of a trainee Jack(?) who was doing a marvelous job. Amber also kept an eye on our table so we never went without service. Amazing food, will definitely be coming back.

Food portions were more than we all expected, but it is so yummy, plates were cleared. The Camembert Mash is definitely my new favourite thing.

I had the pleasure of being served by Jemma during my visit to Miller and Carter on Saturday the 18th of January, and she truly made the experience exceptional. From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, friendly, and professional. Jemma went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect, offering great recommendations and checking in at just the right times. Her warm personality and genuine care for her customers were evident throughout. It’s rare to find such outstanding service, and Jemma is a credit to the restaurant. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this place to others!

The service from our waitress was excellent and deserves a mention. The ambience in the resturant made it a very pleasant experience, The bone marrow was superb. The lamb was great UNFORTUNATELY the cod i had was way overcooked and rubbery, which spoilt an otherwise excellent meal, hence a 6 and not a 10 Mini creme brulee was awesome.

Had my birthday dinner here tonight and Amber was absolutely fantastic she helped explain the cuts to my wife who is not a meat eater. All in all a fantastic evening night out.

I used to visit Miller & Carter restaurants frequently when working g in Edinburgh and London. This is the first time I have visited the Horsham branch. I visited with my wife and three daughters. It was my daughter’s first visit. It was a very cold day, about 5 degrees Celsius. We were sat near the door so it was cold with the front door being opened every 20 mins. My kids and wife had blue hands by end and put their coats on. The restaurant was much warmer towards the rear as we discovered on a trip to the restrooms. I know we had kids, but all well behaved so the staff should have either turned the heat up or moved all customers further back into the restaurant which wasn’t overly busy. The service was ok. The food was good. The furnishings looked a bit tired and generally the restaurant looked a little grubby. Overall not up to the high standards that I remember and associate with the chain. Probably won’t return or recommend.
