Food portions were more than we all expected, but it is so yummy, plates were cleared. The Camembert Mash is definitely my new favourite thing.

I had the pleasure of being served by Jemma during my visit to Miller and Carter on Saturday the 18th of January, and she truly made the experience exceptional. From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, friendly, and professional. Jemma went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect, offering great recommendations and checking in at just the right times. Her warm personality and genuine care for her customers were evident throughout. It’s rare to find such outstanding service, and Jemma is a credit to the restaurant. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this place to others!

Fantastic service from start to finish from Jemma. Food was fab! Drinks wise, I can highly recommend the long island ice tea! Will be back very soon.

The service from our waitress was excellent and deserves a mention. The ambience in the resturant made it a very pleasant experience, The bone marrow was superb. The lamb was great UNFORTUNATELY the cod i had was way overcooked and rubbery, which spoilt an otherwise excellent meal, hence a 6 and not a 10 Mini creme brulee was awesome.

I used to visit Miller & Carter restaurants frequently when working g in Edinburgh and London. This is the first time I have visited the Horsham branch. I visited with my wife and three daughters. It was my daughter’s first visit. It was a very cold day, about 5 degrees Celsius. We were sat near the door so it was cold with the front door being opened every 20 mins. My kids and wife had blue hands by end and put their coats on. The restaurant was much warmer towards the rear as we discovered on a trip to the restrooms. I know we had kids, but all well behaved so the staff should have either turned the heat up or moved all customers further back into the restaurant which wasn’t overly busy. The service was ok. The food was good. The furnishings looked a bit tired and generally the restaurant looked a little grubby. Overall not up to the high standards that I remember and associate with the chain. Probably won’t return or recommend.

Had my birthday dinner here tonight and Amber was absolutely fantastic she helped explain the cuts to my wife who is not a meat eater. All in all a fantastic evening night out.

Ate there tonight from their set menu which was good value. Wide range of choices and food was served promptly. Our server Amber was very friendly and efficient. Would recommend.

We had a Sunday meal here and absolutely loved it. Good was great, service was excellent. Jemma could not do enough for us and was great with our little ones. It’s people like her who make us want to come back. Steak cooked to perfection.

We had lunch just before Christmas, as treat for our family coming to spend the holidays in Horsham. We were served by the lovely Elena: such a great hospitality professional! She approached us with the warmest smile on her face and delivered a consistently excellent service throughout our meal, making sure everyone was comfortable and well looked after. We ordered a selection of starter to share and rib eye as main courses: food was absolutely delicious and steaks perfectly cooked. We had a fabulous experience and we will certainly be back.

We are regulars now to the Horsham restaurant having made a reservation using the app . This is worth doing as visits equals points which equals offers etc every time you visit. It was busy but we’re quickly seated. Really enjoyed the prawn cocktail starter, large size prawns but no bread and butter with it? For £9.95 I feel this should be included as it used to be part of this starter? My ribs were nice, served with chips and coleslaw and my wife’s steak was good but there appears to be some cutbacks. The tomato with the steak was only a quarter size compared to previous visits. We were offered sauces with our food which we accepted but they never arrived. We used to get water served with our meals but not tonight. I asked for some water with our food but this never arrived either which was disappointing. I would have left a tip but felt it wasn’t justified on this occasion. We will come again but the service needs to be improved to give that great experience which we had been used to.

Our main course was fantastic, we had a butchers block. The service was very good. Attentive and fast. The starters were extremely poor. The calamari lacked flavour and scallops were extremely overcooked, making them tough.

Jemma gave amazing service, she handled our young guest and her picky eating perfectly. The food was amazing and we didn’t have to wait long at all for our meal. 😊

Xmas dinner 25/12/24 A very convivial atmosphere with very friendly and attentive staff. This is the good bit, now to the meals: The starters were tasty. A cheese souffle for me & a ham hock & chicken parfait for my partner - at least that's what he ordered but there was no parfait, instead cranberry sauce was substituted with no explanation. It tasted nice so we overlooked it. Dessert was millionaire choc fondant. Tasty but mine had no form to it. I guess it had been sitting awhile in the kitchen and melted. My partners on the other hand was freshly made after they first tried to give him the wrong dessert and his came out actually looking like you could eat it with a spoon rather than suck it through a straw like mine. So to the main event. My order was turkey dinner. No Brussels, no stuffing and no parsnips. There was a indistinguishable mushy concoction on the plate which I think may have contained some green stuff and perhaps unformed stuffing but it wasn't nice as the flavours didnt work together so I left it. My partner ordered rib eye surf and turf. He said the steak was lovely, but couldn't find the turf. We asked the waitress and she pointed out two shrimp sized pieces of something & said that was the turf. We still don't know what it was. The chips were hard and the onion 'ring' was a oil suffused hard inedible thing. We are of simple tastes, generally very content with well cooked and well presented food. We're not complainers but this was barely passable and certainly not worth the not inconsiderable price we paid. 3 stars given in recognition of the hardworking and delightful staff .

Great service but food was average and disappointing.

We really enjoyed our visit and our meal. As it was my birthday, I got there with my family; we got welcomed with a complimentary glass of prosecco (that M&C offered via an email voucher), we then got the two course meal and We thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was very friendly and attentive

Lovely venue, well laid out, staff more than helpful and as 5 members of my group were late the staff accommodated us, staff always there to ask if we needed more drinks etc

The waiting staff were very polite and informative about the menu, we all had steaks and they were cooked to perfection! All the sides were really tasty, didn’t take too long for our food and drinks to be served. Overall a fantastic experience, 5 star food and 5 star service

Fantastic service. We had the Butchers Block which had 2 Fillets, 1 sirloin and 1 Ribeye. The Fillet is the best and it's expertly cooked. We had an excellent dinner and would go again!

Came here for our 1 year anniversary and we were greeted by Amber our waitress!! She was amazing from the beginning all the way to the end with great service. Definitely recommend to come here to the Horsham branch as the Kitchen are the best by far and every steak was cooked to perfection (we had the butchers block). Staff were excellent. No faults :)

Excellent food but very long time to serve despite advanced booking of what menu to serve to the list of people who were attending.

I went for lunch with my family and there was a big group of us. I am ceoliac and was well catered for and didn’t feel like a pain. I was given a gluten free menu with a range of options. The staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered the seabass. It was delicious. The rest of my family had steak and regarded it highly. I had a banoffee pie for desert and it was huge.

Visited on a busy Friday night. Elena our server was great. Very attentive and personable. Getting to know her clients & exceeding expectations when hearing of a recent promotion within our table she brought over a plate with congratulations written in chocolate. We usually visit on a Tuesday and are served by Ash. She noticed us in and came over to say hello. She remembers our orders each time and is a great asset to the restaurant.

The service and food are always great. What makes it just a special occasion restaurant for us is the price, especially your drinks.

The steak was cooked to perfection, with great sides and great service. We went at 3.30 pm on a Saturday and it was quiet, but enough people to make a good atmosphere.

Looked at menu online ...no drinks menu online...chose items...get there ,items unavailable...a very limited choice of what I could then have ...and they served me cold fish...very dissapointed. Would not come again.
