An absolute super evening. The staff were really courteous. Our meal was superb. A lovely atmosphere although very busy, the staff made sure we had everything we wanted.

Still by far the best pizzas in St. Leonards and Hastings. Pizza is still excellent after I discovered this place when it was much smaller. I relocated and continued to dine here for over 11 years. Atmosphere has changed since Tony handed over, but I would still recommend.

Love these boys ... and what a delightful place they've created ... opened at 4pm on a Sunday and full by 5pm! A testament to Chris and Phil and how they create great spaces! (Their gastro pub in Tuffnell Park was also fabulous!!!) Lucky St Leonards, getting them now! ... and they are connected with a great pizza place, so you can dine in, too, with a delivery! ... Fabulous Deli. Huge selection of delicious foods, drinks and other things for the kitchen. The deli has a good selection and at a reasonable cost. They also have takeaway food. Toasted, scotch eggs, sausage rolls and much more. They tend to have different daily specials. Staff are friendly, polite and helpful. Also they have great coffee.

We ordered a takeaway, extremely bland Makhani, my left nut has more spice. Biriani wasn't much better. Wouldn't buy again.

Their passion for hospitality is evident, making every guest feel Welcome. The nduja and pepperoni pizza is an absolute must-try—it’s a solid 10/10. We also had the cheeseburger , which exceeded my partners expectations. It was juicy and flavorful, served with freshly hand-cut chips that were simply delicious. The decor is charming, and the music adds to the ambiance, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing meal. This pub truly nails it on every front—food, service, decor, and atmosphere. It feels like a great locals’ spot where you can unwind and enjoy quality time. I can’t wait to return and try their Sunday roast! Well done, guys—you’ve created something special here!

Simple tasty and beautifully healthy food. Perfect food experience. Plenty of vegetarian options available as well which is always a good sign.

Heist is a lovely place with great atmosphere, the food is a little spenny but mostly delicious. Service is adequate great place to come with friends as lots to choose from.

Coffee, pastries, biryani, Mediterranean breakfast. Everything was delicious! We stopped for coffee and pastries in the morning then went back for a late lunch after a walk into Hastings along the sea front. Would highly recommend this place. Lovely atmosphere and fabulous food.

Excellent breakfast. Good friendly service. We both had the Full English. Good sausages and bacon. Poached eggs that run. Well made coffee.

Love this place. The staff are amazing and the breakfasts are just incredible. The quality of the produce is first class- proper sausages and bacon, proper toast and eggs done just how you wish. Everything is cooked to perfection.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere, very enjoyable evening

I had been looking forward to trying this spot for a while. I had the fig Danish which I really enjoyed and the people who I went with also enjoyed what they bought. The shop is well situated and sells really unique and interesting baked goods. However, saying that, i unfortunately I found the customer service lacking. The interaction from the staff was minimal and unfriendly, despite me asking questions and attempting to make conversation. For me, part of going out and getting a coffee is the customer service/interaction and I left feeling disappointed in this case.

Starsky & Hatch is the best little hatch in town. Their oat milk lattes are delicious. Their vegan & veggie options are plentiful. The fish is fresh, & all the meals are so tasty, from their simple granola through to their delicious poké bowls. The smiles inside the hatch rival the smiles outside. Their positioning is picture perfect, with the most scenic view of St Leonards sea & beach, with Hastings to one side, St Leonards to the other, & the pier in sight; nay, reaching distance. The food is made to order, so isn't fast food, or greasy. It's good food, healthy, cooked well, & cooked quickly. The ambiance is chilled, relaxed, & full of fun. Customers range from dog walkers to swimmers, runners to box freestylers, Daytrippers to locals who keep coming back because Starsky & Hatch are so welcoming. And we will keep going back 😀
