Really amazing sandwiches. Had the pastrami one day, the sauerkraut was fantastic and the whole sandwich was great. Another day we ate in and had a chicken sandwich and a chicken wrap, they were both great, really tasty and huge portions together with a nice ly dressed salad

Kippers egg and tomatoes on toast - best breakfast I’ve ever had and the service was perfect t - little gem of a place

Just had a lovely filling lunch here today. Picked off the specials so had roast pork,potatoes and sour salad. Good food ,nice people.

We enjoyed a great lunch at Puffleys. All staff were very friendly and very helpful. The food and service were excellent. We will most certainly return - it is well worth a visit (and also good value for money)

Popped into grab a coffee with a friend to takeaway. The lady behind the counter was ok with the dogs being in as we were only grabbing a coffee to go. Chef came out of the kitchen and was incredibly brusque and rude to me as the dogs were in despite being given permission to be there. Can't rate their coffee as didn't end up having any. Chefs attitude towards paying customers was appalling. Shame as it looked nice in there and rhe other staff were good

Love this cafe and look forward to visiting my mum to have lunch. Sacha and Co are so friendly and the place is always beautifully clean. Would highly recommend the White Bean with homemade sausage & beef soup and the homemade goulash so much so that we have started taking a portion home with us back to London!

I had the most amazing prawn sandwich and cappuccino here and my husband had a full English and cappuccino. Very friendly people, relaxing, one of those special places you find. Would recommend for everyone to try.

We are now regulars, as we so enjoy the food and Sasha's bubbly personality and warm welcome! The food is tasty, good value. The cakes are very nice, and the Victorian sponge is the best I've ever tasted! The decor is so very different from Sasha & Roberts predecessors, so I've enclosed photos. For some reason, the existing Trip Advisor business photos can't be changed? Such a shame, as fabulous little place.

What a stylish transformation since the new owners took over! It's a regular spot to have an excellent coffee and bite to eat, the cakes don't disappoint either! Sasha is a bubbly, enthusiastic delight, always a warm welcome everytime you go. Her husband Robert, the chef, equally a nice guy, quieter. You won't regret a stop here. Good value for money, good food. The enthusiastic welcome from Sasha will draw you back, lovely woman.

Lovely cafe. Visited with my husband. Wide variety of home cooked food. I had a jacket potato with cheese and my hubby had a tasty burger. The food was good, the lady and man seving were very nice. I will definitely visit again.

The staff were so friendly, I was really impressed by the vegan menu & that salad was definitely something write home about. Large vegan wrap. We came for breakfast there both days of our stay. My friend had perfect poached eggs & the her milk shake was made with fresh strawberries. Can’t fault it.

The coffee shop serves delicious cakes and food, all homemade. The coffee is my favourite in the area too. Friendly staff and always welcoming. Definitely my new favourite place to visit. My dogs love it as well as they always get a treat!

Situated on the prom between Bexhill and Hastings is this laid-back coffee shop, offering a good cup of coffee (non-dairy milk available), homemade cakes and freshly prepared snacks to holidaymakers, walkers and cyclists following national cycle route 2. The owners are super friendly and the atmosphere is one of home from home. I always stop by when cycling past. Highly recommended!

Parked at the opposite end of the old town and walked along and came across Poffleys.Amazing service, very imformative and accommodating.Very reasonable prices, freshly prepared food. We had baked potatoes with a choice of fillings as they are cooked in an oven not microwaved. Children had bacon rolls with crisps on the side.Clean and tidy Would highly recommend.

Went there for the first time today. Luke was very friendly and welcoming, gave great service. We had the chicken stew and mash - beautifully cooked, nicely served, and not expensive. Not a huge menu selection, but our food was delicious. Price was good, atmosphere was good, and this will be the first of many visits here :)

I just popped in to this cafe for a cup of coffee as had 20mins to kill and was very impressed with the friendly welcome. Staff seem very committed. I will certainly go in again and try their menu.

Had a very warm welcome and then saw that they had great Gluten and Vegetarian options as well as the standard menu. Food and Coffee were great plus it'd be rude not to have a lump of Gluten free cake eh! Been back a few times now and always a warm and friendly welcome and great food

This place is a little gem, it really is. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the prices are so reasonable. It's great value for money with locally sourced good quality food. The 'Poffley's Big Breakfast' is amazing and cooked to perfection, it's delicious, all of the flavours compliment each other and unlike a lot of cooked breakfasts it's not greasy and you don't leave feeling bloated and unhealthy. We're so glad we discovered this place, it has a really lovely and relaxed atmosphere. You get amazing value for money unlike a lot of places that will rip you off and charge ridiculous prices for meals which aren't even half as good quality as they are here. I can foresee many more visits in future because now we're addicted and can't wait to try the other lovely meals on the menu. It's so nice to have such a quaint and lovely local business in a town where you were born and raised and I really hope this place continues to be a success. Lovely people who go that extra mile to make sure your visit is a good one. Well worthy of my five star review and definitely worth visiting, if you don't it's your loss.

Great food, great hosts, great coffee, fabulous location, my fabourite cafe in St Leonards, has a sign saying 'no wifi here. talk to each other like you did in 1995'. Luke has a smile and a welcome for everyone. Attracts quite a few St Leonrards 'characters' can be very entertaining.

I go there all the time to grab a bite to eat before work and I can honestly say they are some of the nicest people around. Amazing food and you always feel so welcome.

Unexpectedly found this when looking for somewhere for breakfast when catching up with old friends. The main server was great - making a lovely effort with our 2 year old boy, and very attentive with his service. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. I can personally recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. It’s not a fancy restaurant but I would definitely recommend it / consider coming back next time!

We went here a few weeks ago on a Saturday & bought a couple of very tasty bacon rolls as a treat. The service was friendly and quick as usual. Whenever we get a take away from here the food is always still very hot by the time we have made it the short distance home.

Visited Poffley's Coffee Shop for the first time in several years and was delightfully surprised by the change. To be honest it isn't a coffee shop anymore, it is a lovely place to savour delicious and reasonably priced light meals, also cakes etc. Lots of gluten free products, locally sourced products. Also incredibly courteous and friendly staff. Me and my friend Jayne loved it and I shall definitely be returning & spreading the word!

I had an hour to spare in St Leonard's and as advised by Trip Advisor, headed here for some coffee. It was lovely, had a proper natter to the owner, 2 cups of coffee it was that good (making my way up the loyalty card, yes I will be loyal!) and really enjoyed the décor and atmosphere. Thank you!

Such a lovely charming quirky place, full of character. I loved everything from the fresh tastes, to the funny decor, the personalised service by the manager (I think Luke) and to the delicious hot chocolate with marshmallows that my kids absolutely loved!

We parked down the lower end of Hastings as our usual car park was closed As we walked up to the pier we passed this lovely coffee house and the delicious smell of bacon wafted out. So we decided to stop for a bacon sandwich. Excellent choice the food was excellent. The staff very friendly and helpful a really nice atmosphere. On our way back we called in again for a toasted sandwich and salad. Excellent once again. Well worth visiting if you're in hastings.

I visited Poffleys recently whilst out for a walk along the seafront. Whilst they don't allow dogs inside the cafe they gave us blankets to sit outside and the service was great. Both of the members of staff I encountered were great with kids. The coffee was good too.

It has been a year since we last found ourselves in the area and Poffleys remains our coffee shop of choice in St Leonards. Him and I found Poffleys still has a warm, welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. We loved the touches like local artwork and tea and coffee sets for sale, Poffleys home made cushions and cup holders. The 2 chef prepared soups of the day came with huge fresh warm rolls, as ever the tea and mocha was delicious. Do try.

A visit to my wife's hairdresser found us here. Technically in St Leonards on Sea, right on the seafront at an area known as Marina from the liner shaped apartments above the shops, once the tallest such block in England. Like so many wonderful places in the area, an eclectic mix which gives charm. As another reviewer says, other tables join in the buzz and it is all very friendly. Parking outside, free of charge, good coffee, good hot food all lifts it above the regular local cafe. Coupled with the charm and friendliness of the host, greatly recommended.

Hubby had full English and I had salmon and scrambled egg on toast, stunning and very tasty. Friendly owner and nice interior. Great location over looking the beach. Makes a decent brew too.

This is the kind of place where people on different tables talk to each other. It serves comfort food like veggie sausages, peas, mash and onion gravy; macaroni cheese; home made cakes. Also has my unsweetened soya milk.

Had lunch on impulse here attracted by the menu and friendly atmosphere. Tasty and good value carrot and coriander soup and smoked salmon with cream cheese sandwich. Would definitely eat here again to sample the rest of the menu with some interesting vegetarian choices.
