Popped in for lunch having last been in here 6 years .ago . What a great meal we enjoyed with fish and chips and tracle sponge . The fish and chips were up there with some of the best I've tasted . Great new owner and staff . So impressed that I've immediately book Easter Monday lunch for 4 with friends and we hope to enjoy there lovely dart board

Friendly staff, plenty of seating and tables. Home cooked food.

Food was really nice. The liver and bacon was delicious, well cooked and the portion was more than adequate. Scampi and chips was plentiful and lovely and crispy. Staff were really nice and attentive. Atmosphere was great for a lunch time. Only slight detraction was the wait to clear our plates when we'd finished our mains, and how slow the desserts were arriving. Only a minor thing though. On the whole a very nice lunch We shall be returning.

New owners, new vibe, new enthusiasm, a positive experience all the way. Previous owners were good and clearly paved the way for new owners. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Our love for The Bo Peep, its staff and regulars continues 💔

Didn't eat this time but have recently. Great Sunday roast... 2 well kept pool tables. Darts and of course Beer 🍻 A nice pint, friendly staff.

New opened place in bexhill. Delicious food, always fresh and very good quality. You can order traditional breakfast or meals but also i choice of mediterranean meals. Very friendly atmosphere, my son's love to go for there for breakfast or lunch.

A local pub for local people. The decor and atmosphere were a bit off putting when we arrived. However, the staff, punters, and food were spot on! Dog friendly also.

Love spending family time here after parkrun and their ability to cater for vegan diets is exemplary! They even went out to grab some alternative milk and all the plant sausage sandwiches were cooked separately. Really impressed by the little but important touches!

I haven't been to the Bo peep for many years but I went on Friday evening with my family the food was outstanding recommend it to anybody absolutely brilliant

Great pub, traditional, clean, tidy and on the night I was there, quiet but it was mid week and pouring hard so hardly their fault! Beer was great, pool table worked and staff were really friendly! Will be back! Didn't eat so cannot comment on food.

Lovely place to meet for a coffee or a pint, and the food is lovely and pretty reasonable!!

Unfortunately there is no music playing, which dampens the atmosphere somewhat. There is a jukebox, but you have to pay for the individual songs. It's a shame, but otherwise ok.

The prawn cocktail was the best we have ever had ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lovely staff, atmosphere and overall great evening 👍

A great local pub that offers something more traditional than others in the area. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They have a good pub-grub menu and a blackboard of specials. I ordered the lasagne from the specials and was really expecting a microwaved meal despite it being on the specials list, but I was surprised to receive a huge homemade portion with a mountain of chips and salad. The lasagne was very tasty and had peppers in it which was great for added veg, the only feedback would be that I’d have liked it to have more tomato in the mince. I couldn’t finish the huge serving but was kindly offered a doggy bag. I have never been in such a clean pub, everything was immaculate, including the toilets. All stock behind the bar was arranged with military precision with not a speck of dust. Even the condiments on the dresser were neatly arranged with the labels facing forward! You could literally eat off the tables. If you want something trendy with IPAs, organic wines and small plates, this won’t be for you, but if you want something traditional, filling and friendly, then I’d recommend this place.

Hygiene is already optional: we had to eat on the uncleaned table where others had eaten. But the food isn't that great either. Angus burger with little flavour, poor beer and very little rosé wine. All in a so-so environment...but I'm probably being harsh given the other reviews and the high ratings...the best thing though are the prices.

Called in here first thing when it opened for tea and coffee really friendly staff and the pub is beautiful and well kept very clean definitely recommend

Used to be a nice pub. Went back and not impressed with the undrinkable beer. (does no one clean the lines anymore) barmaids to busy on there phones to bother. Then suddenly close the pub at 10 because they can. Will not return.

Always a friendly welcome, I've never felt uncomfortable going in on my own, scrummy food too

Delicious and very generous portion sizes. Friendly staff, very relaxing atmosphere, really enjoyed our time here. Self service for cutlery but offered condiments. Would recommend coming here.

Called in today for the first time lovely atmosphere and friendly people had steak pie and veg, it was top of the bill deffo go again.

Unfriendly, guy behind the bar asked my party of 9 who wanted lunch to go into the beer garden which was all wet, poor customer service, unwelcoming, attitude and I get the feeling they want a 60 years + crowd.

Popped in for coffee mid week. Was very pleasantly suprised. We had baguettes each with thick ham cut off the bone and salad. It was quality, The salad so fresh and huge fresh baguette. Price was amazing

Visited Hastings on Sunday 24th July. Popped in on the off chance and was so glad we did. 2 Roasts and quite possibly the best Hunters Chicken I've ever had. Food was tasty very reasonable and can't wait to Visit again Sept, this time with our Doggy. Harvey's on the hand pump and a delicious pint at that. Thank you and see you all again soon.

Nice people but unfortunately not so good food cheap microwave puddings. Nothing gluten free at all disappointing

Nice, friendly, relaxed welcome. The pool tables are great at just 50p a game; they are in a separate area of the pub so you can sit away from them if it's not your thing. The food is excellent; huge portions and extremely well cooked and presented. Also, the food is amazing value for money. Highly recommended for a pub meal.

I booked a Table for 2 to eat at 18.30 we arrived at 18.20 shown to a Table that wasn't set up ready for us then after sitting there for 20 minutes noticed we had to go to the Bar to order our food then when the food was brought to our table it was put down hard on to the table and no cutlery had to go and get our own then had to leave table halfway through eating meal to get another drink then was kept waiting even though 2 members of staff where told I was waiting food going cold then another table turned up with 8 people and guess what there table was already set up and ready for them they had a waitress get there meal order and brought there drinks to the table then when it came to paying my bill I asked to speak to the manager and explained all the above his reply was I don't know why it was like that and started going on about his problems in life and Changing the subject in the end I said take the money and we left never to return you have been warned we could of spent our Money anywhere

A great local traditional friendly and characteristic public house, great food, great service and reasonable prices. Staff are always friendly and helpful, attentive to all needs and happy to go that extra mile for the more vulnerable customers like the elderly. They do a wonderful vegetable curry and a splendid Ploughmans lunch. Well worth visiting if you are a tourist as the Bo-Peep really does give you an insight into the workings of a traditional British pub.

Lovely traditional pub with great historic interior. It has a thick and cozy carpet (I love carpets in pubs, it makes such a difference to the sound and atmosphere), and even a couple of pool tables - both, alas, rare in pubs today. It has a decent range of beers on offer and a typical pub grub menu. Value for money is ok. I found this pub in a guidebook on historic pubs in the south east and made a special effort to visit it. I’d like to be back for a few pints and a game of pools.

Good food very reasonable priced

I walked from Hastings, where I was staying for a week, just to visit this pub. A gem. Great interior, a nice fluffy carpet (a reason to visit by itself!), good service and reasonable prices. I highly recommend this pub.

We were visiting the Coast for an Easter Break. This was an absolutely lovely Pub, tasty Sunday Lunch and amazing, friendly Staff. Highly recommend.

Are (and drank) here fo both nights we were in town. Friendly staff and good range of drinks. Menu typical pub fare but nothing wrong with that. Good portion size and well cooked with quick service. I had the ribs on the second night which were a bit disappointing as I was not expecting the same sort you would get from a supermarket but they were cooked and presented well. Steak on the other hand was excellent. If you are in this part of St Leonards and cant be bothered walking into Hastings you could do worse than eat and drink here.

Dogs are not allowed except in garden

Nice pub full if locals. Show live football. All day breakfast was lovely and good value

Decor needs updating but the staff were lovely and unusually for a pub... the loos were spotless. Food was good if a little pricey. Very nice though!
