The pub hosted my father's 90th birthday! A truly great experience for all who attended. They provided a really lovely buffet style lunch that covered all dietary requirements. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Can't recommend it highly enough 5 well deserved stars. Thank you Marina Fountain.

Cheeky little pint after a trip to the beach. Lovely pub inside and great space outside although a bit tired. Fab beer, lovely friendly and accommodating staff. Pizzas phenomenal! 100% new favourite pub on the seafront!

Very pleasant venue, good outdoor sheltered seating area at back, bit of a sun trap too. Easy free parking on sea front 100m away.

You are immediately greeted in a very cheerful and funny way and continue to be looked after in a friendly manner... delicious food, many guests of all generations

Went for a evening with the wife, lovely atmosphere, great staff, beer/spirits price not bad, we both decided to have the burger, lovely especially with the bacon, strange with a meatball on top but that was tasty too, Only 2 downsides, chips weren't that great, can tell from frozen bag not hand cut in house and no mention of service charge when came to getting the bill at 10% otherwise would have gone to the bar itself to order food and last drink

I had a Bloody Mary and wow the taste really awakened the tastebuds really good.We had roast chicken and roast beef with cauliflower cheese.The roasts were perfection.There was no boiled veg all were either roasted and the cabbage with the bacon was delicious and such a selection also the only time I have ever eaten roast potatoes when I have eaten out.So happy to have found this pub it’s a lovely place to go.

Dog friendly and relaxing - we met their cocker spaniel 'Jarvis' - with a friendly atmosphere. It has an excellent beer garden. JJ and Marina Fountain family will always make you feel welcome. We can't wait to go back.

Went on a Monday daytime. Quiet as you'd expect. Bar man was very pleasant, attentive and knows how to run a pub. Ale was lovely, tasted nice and fresh (rarer occurance than you'd expect in St leonards). Decent sized garden and dog friendly

Just popped in for a pint, not the best time as it was sound check for the band. Sat in garden which is about the best pub garden in town. Harveys bitter was good. Will go again.

It's obviously had a lot of money spent on it and it shows. It's got it's own quirky character. A lot to like about this one.

We had Sunday lunch: not sure whether noisy, exuberant children is the norm. Meat was delicious but needed a greater vegetable selection.

Popped in today with my dog after a long walk. I was served by two lovely and caring young ladies. Made us feel welcome. I had a very pleasant couple of Harvey's at a good price. Did not eat but overheard customers saying how much they enjoyed their lunch and would be back for the Sunday roast. I recommend a visit.

We only went in for a drink , but some of the plates of food wafting by smelt and looked delicious 😋

Great little pub located just across the road from the beach and Grosvenor Gardens. Lived locally for a few years but only just got around to visiting. Friendly staff, plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors in their rear beer garden. No car park but free parking is available nearby.

A very buzzing atmosphere in this pub on the edge of St Leonards. Dog friendly and has a tapas style menu. A great pub if you are looking for a London vibe and have friends visiting. Sometimes they have DJs and live music.

Hmm… another one of those pubs where the publican thinks putting 65% ice cubes in your pint of juice is a good thing. Does save them giving you juice though- as the glass is full of ice 🙄

Booked online for Sunday roast dinner for 2 on 11 June. Very disappointed to discover that this was not the usual traditional roast dinner we had enjoyed on previous visits with Yorkshire pudding roast potstoes, carrots parsnips etc but a Sunday 'summer' roast dinner with beef, new potatoes and vegetables basically spring greens with a few peas and broad beans mixed in described as a fricasee? This included a salsa verde and watery gravy which didn't belong together. Portion was also smaller than usual. We complained to the waitress and to the manager who said we should have read the online menu before we booked. As we are local and and had Sunday roast here many times begore we didn't feel the need to look at the menu. Would not eat here again!

Nice seating out back in huts and good mezze like plates delivered efficiently by pleasant staff. Good virgin Mary. Nice place to pop in to midway home from long walk. Recommend

Decent Sunday lunch! I had beef which was good though we were all rather perplexed that salt and pepper pots weren't available. Sachets of salt and pepper, we think you can do better! 😉

May Bank Holiday weekend, Jack in the Green. You'd imagine that Sunday lunch would be a tough service. Not for these guys! They've cracked it! Really good service, very good selection of wine and the food, wow, the best Sunday roast for miles I'd say! The pork was extremely well cooked, tasty and juicy with lots of crackling. The vegetables were cooked really nicely and the roast potatoes were crispy and an ample supply of them. Thanks guys!! Will be back!

Sat out back in the sun..beer good...wine adequate...in good weather it can be too doggy and kiddyfide...but I' m a tad old school..

The most amazing pub in Hastings & St Leonards, hands down! Not only is this our favourite local, Jess, Roo & Co hosted our wedding and it was the most incredible day. The food was spot on - seriously DELICIOUS, they help set up and basically just delivered above and beyond on all fronts. We love you guys and thank the lord the Marina Fountain is here. Best pub, best landlady, best chef, best team, best garden etc etc etc... 10 stars from us, if only we could give you more! xxxxxxx

Good beers and lage.The Hells was lovely. Stayed in the garden as Covid is still rampant. The food was good if a tad pricey. Great staff, engaging and friendly.

Fantastic food, a trendy and quirky place. We enjoyed our lunch. Our waitress wasn't too chatty/forthcoming but definitely a welcoming atmosphere for children and dogs which is fab. The garden is a wonderful sun trap. Full of the local hipster crew, something to bear in mind and can feel a little off putting if you don't quite fit the mould. We'll definitely come back.

A lovely place with lovely staff, a good diverse crowd too! Both child and dog friendly, so super chill. Plus they serve local gluten free lager. Yesssss!

Excellent pub with friendly and polite staff. Our dog was very welcome too. Didn't book ahead but they were happy to accommodate us for food. Food was quick and delicious, would highly recommend if you are in the area!

Marina Fountain has great food specially Sunday Roasts. Great pub and the menu is varied with lots of choices for non meat eaters too. I visited for a Sunday roast and I would advise making a reservation as this location does get booked up. The roast beef was delicious and had lots of kale a great tasting Yorkshire pudding and a huge carrot. Plenty of gravy and the whole dish was fantastic. I also had broccoli with hazelnuts as a side and this was unbelievably good. I also tried the wild duck legs. After the mains I had rice pudding again superb. Great service, good wine menu and the location great.

Lovely little Gastro Pub in St Leonards! Friendly staff, excellent food and fantastic value for money. A massive portion of chicken wings and chips came to £11. Can't wait to come back here!

Okay so I love this pub, great staff, great beer selection, etc... But I wasn't impressed when walking into a half empty pub to have a mini-panic, including discussing whether a customer was still there or not (turns out he was and probably overheard you). I know pubs need to adapt to meet the needs of their local community, but try to stay as a welcoming pub, rather than a restaurant where you have to pre-book first

Great well done out pub, friendly staff, loved the tunes playing in background. Lots of seating, great events coming up. Garden has heated huts and large garden seated area too. Highly recommend, right opposite seafront.

Lovely, friendly pub with great service and food. Came for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon, but were too late for roasts. Instead we ordered nearly everything off the starters/sharing menu between four of us, and it was all excellent. The colourful heated huts in the garden are cute, and they had a great range of beers (including several no/low alcohol options).

Very friendly and attentive staff. We came for the Sunday Roast which was very delicious - the beef was tender and just cooked and the homemade nut roast was very good too. The sauce was thick and it would be even better if it was less salty to our palettes. The homemade blueberry frangipane was exceptional.

Had a delicious roast pork on Sunday for lunch. A Good amount of veg and roasties. Very good roast carrots and chard. Disappointed by the cheesecake, the base was nice as were the plums but the cheesey bit was just like thick cream..no cheese flavour!

What a great find on our holiday to Hastings. A few steps from our door was friendliness, character and charm. We could only visit twice but there was still so much to try. Gave us tourist info and so much more. Thank you for the lovely time. And if you visit have the wings!!!!
