We went for a family lunch for my mother in laws 80th Birthday. The table was beautifully set, The staff were attentive , The food was incredible , it was reasonably priced. ( worked out about 55.00 per head, we all had drinks , 3 courses and the service charge) . This is our 3rd visit as a family, Mum has been more than we have . Will CERTAINLY GO AGAIN !! Thankyou Team !!!

Really tasty food, staff were attentive but also left us to enjoy ourselves. The only disappointing one was the first gluten free option (gnocchi) we asked for wasn't available but another option was offered soon. I would say that staff need more training on the difference between vegetarian / vegan / pescatarian. Otherwise all good for the meat eaters!

Good coffee shop with an extensive range of homemade cakes and quality coffee. Nice venue on the high street. Friendly staff .

Known now as The Nightjar this place is a wonderful addition to the high street. They offer a wide variety of wine and tapas and some entertainment. All top quality and very professional. They deserve support.

I decided to grab a mid-week curry as we had both been late at work. We decided to give Monson a go, but we are usually more drawn to the other Indian in the village, The Taj. I have to say it was just really disappointing and the food (a takeout) was just very average at best, just really underwhelming and lacked flavour for us. We just ended up throwing much of it away. I just wonder even if the chef or kitchen team even tasted the food before sending it out, it was poor. I think we also have to remember that although these restaurants class themselves as Indian, they are not Indian at all, and are Bangladeshi, so the food is nothing like real Indian. I can only assume that the people that rave over this, either have no idea of what great Indian is or are quite happy to settle for overpriced average curry. It's a shame because they could do much better than this.

Visited this cafe today, stood and waited at the door to be approached by a female member of staff, I asked if we can sit outside, she said "yeah no problem i'll be out to you in a minute" After 15 mins (We were enjoying the sun) my wife went inside to see if we could get served, we only wanted a cuppa and a cake. She was told "no we have no staff". only our second visit to this place, the first time we waited ages for our food. Very unprofessional and very rude lady.

Nothing really wrong with the service but I had the most disappointing fish and chip supper I’ve had in my life from this place this week. They used to do you a big box of crispy chips for £3, they were beautiful. Now every time I go here the chips are soggy and disappointing, might as well eat boiled potatoes instead. Fish was also completely bland. Standards need to improve like they were before. Very dissatisfied

Two weeks ago I booked a table online for today via 'TableAgent'. It was a treat for my elderly mother for Mother's Day. I received an email confirming it was booked. Booking as follows.. The Cricketers Hartley Wintney Date: 30/03/2025 (March 30, 2025 - Sunday) Time: 14:00 (2 p.m.) Party Size: 2 Occasion / Request: Table by window please. Section / Area: Restaurant - (Hours: 12:00 - 18:00) Yesterday she popped into the pub to check the time, only to be rudely told by a guy that there was no booking and they weren't doing any food in any case due to new ownership. A lady then came over and apologised (hence 2*). My advice is don't use booking sites!

We usually eat at Monsoon however wanted thought we'd try The Taj for a change. We'd hadn't booked but there were a few empty tables. Good fresh & warm poppadom & nice pickle chutney selection. chicken rezala & tikka shashlik both tasty & chicken was tender. Rice, nann & side of saag paneer also good. The only negative was the lighting, the room is way too bright!

We use this Chinese takeaway every few months & always same standard! Not the best we’ve ever had, but better than ones in our village so we travel 5 miles to use Po Lee! Some items a little pricey. Could do with some more vegetarian options, chose fried bamboo as we love bamboo, but wasn’t keen on the clear sauce it was in.
