The best restaurants serving British food in Hartley Wintney Hart South East

This is what a pub should be like. Great atmosphere, full of village locals and a proper landlord who knows what he is doing. 10/10.

The hotel is absolutely stunning. If I wasn't already married I'd be planning my wedding here!

Two weeks ago I booked a table online for today via 'TableAgent'. It was a treat for my elderly mother for Mother's Day. I received an email confirming it was booked. Booking as follows.. The Cricketers Hartley Wintney Date: 30/03/2025 (March 30, 2025 - Sunday) Time: 14:00 (2 p.m.) Party Size: 2 Occasion / Request: Table by window please. Section / Area: Restaurant - (Hours: 12:00 - 18:00) Yesterday she popped into the pub to check the time, only to be rudely told by a guy that there was no booking and they weren't doing any food in any case due to new ownership. A lady then came over and apologised (hence 2*). My advice is don't use booking sites!

Fantastic evening with our family group of 12 for dinner. Delicious food, excellent service and a special mention of Rhys who looked after us so well.
