At Monsoon this evening, the team truly redefined what service means in a dining experience. It’s rare these days to find such a genuine sense of hospitality, and it was quite refreshing. The staff worked seamlessly together, creating an inviting atmosphere where you could tell they genuinely cared about making every guest feel special. Abu, who looked after us throughout the night, made us feel like more than just customers—by the end of the evening, he felt like a friend. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the menu were impressive, and his recommendations were spot on. You could see how much pride he took in presenting the dishes, a sign of a restaurant that truly values its own food and its customers too. The food arrived quickly, hot and delicious, reflecting the precision and coordination of a well-oiled team. The quality of the dishes was exceptional, making it clear that this is a place worth returning to. It’s been one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in quite some time, and we’ll definitely be back.

Just passing through. It was 8.15 on a Wednesday and two other restaurants told us we were too late to be fed... But monsoon staff welcomed us in, served us quickly, friendly waiter, nice food

Wonderful evening with the family for a birthday meal. The staff are exceptional and make this restaurant the most friendliest and welcoming place I have ever visited. Food was amazing and although there were six adults and five children each dish was delivered together piping hot and delicious. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive. The food was wonderful and although it was a Saturday evening and they were busy , nothing was too much trouble. First visit but definitely not the last. Thank you Monsoon for making such a memorable evening.

Great reception on walking into premises. Not very busy when I went in and started to fill up after that (Thursday night). My drink order was not correct on first attempt by staff and I waited quite a while to order my food. I was expecting it to be tastier than it was (Chicken Shishlak, boiled rice, veg vurry), but there was plenty to eat. All in all a bit indifferent considering the welcome.

Amazing food, great atmosphere, very friendly and professional staff. Made to feel very welcome and well looked after from start to finish. Have been a couple of times and never had an issue. Will happily return in the future and recommend to everyone looking for a great local Indian restaurant!

Had a table of seven here and had a great night, the owner and family were very welcoming and helped make the night a treat. Food was excellent, and plenty of it, I highly recommend it and will use them again.

Really warm welcome from everyone. Excellent service and really good food. We are here as we are staying in a local hotel for business. This was the best meal, atmosphere and service of the week. The staff really put themselves out in order to get us back to the hotel safely when we couldn't get a taxi. Amazing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Family meal on a Tuesday evening, reasonably early in the evening but the restaurant was really busy (a good sign). This and really friendly service from all of the staff we engaged with (much more than other Indian restaurants I've been to) made for a really good atmosphere. On top of this, service was snappy, something I loved but others might feel like they were being rushed (nobody in my group felt like they were). Food was great, I'm not a gourmet by any means but it was exactly what you'd expect/want. But if a gem really and we'll definitely be back.

I went to Monsoon on Wednesday 10th April and the least I can say was that I was very impressed with the quality of food and also the quality of service.

Eating at Indian restaurants out of London can be hit and Miss but this place was absolutely fantastic. Amazing customer service and fabulous food. Great atmosphere in the restaurant too. I would definitely return if I was in the area again!

This restaurant was the best I have ever been in Aberdeen and our and our hosts gatika was fabulous and outstanding host I've ever had encountered She welcomed us she managed to cope with her excitement of being in Aberdeen. She was amazing overall I can't even imagine how patients and how corporating she was with us. And obviously it was amazing the best food in Indian restaurant I have ever had. Can't talk much but gatika was the best this is the only best review I can give about any of the Host I've ever ever been served with.

A group of us ate here earlier. The quality of the food and the atmosphere were high up there. There were a couple of minor issues with the serving of the food and drinks but were quickly resolved. Would definitely return back.

Dishes have wayyyyy too much sauce and the tiniest portions of meat, they taste fine but it's less than ideal.

This is hands down the best time I have ever had in an Indian. The staff are the friendliest people I have ever been served by. The food is great and flavourful, I couldn't have asked for any better. Me and my partner were staying in a nearby hotel, and we stayed here late drinking, and our waiter had insisted he take us back to the hotel as the taxis take forever. Overall just absolutely lovely people, we will definitely be coming back again!

We picked this restaurant because of glowing reviews. Unfortunately for us it was a VERY poor experience. Chicken dish very dry. Lamb dish extremely spicy when listed as mild. Saag paneer cold. The staff were EXTREMELY intense! Hanging around the table constantly, taking dishes and drinks away when not finished with, cracking jokes that were just inappropriate. Just made us feel very uncomfortable. We just wanted to get out of there as soon as we could - and we did!

We had a great meal from here for New Years Eve. We pre ordered for 7 of us and then asked for it to be prepared earlier for pick up...nothing was too much trouble and they changed our time with no issues in spite of beingreally busy. Food was great and really good quality (plenty for all of us and more). They are really friendly (Abu took the order) and very helpful. Have eaten in the restaurant too....same quality food and service. Thank you and Happy 2024

Very difficult to fault the welcome, the service, the menu breadth or the food quality. The excellent maitre d was first class, constantly checking that the food was ok. He also went above and beyond by offering small tweaks to the menu options. The service was very good, and the food quality (taste, portion control and temperature) exceeded expectations. This really is a great restaurant and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

If I could give this restaurant six stars, both for the food and the service, I would. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! As I've said in other reviews I eat in a lot of Indian and Bangladeshi restaurants and when it comes to curry I regard myself as a bit of an aficionado. I had a Prawn Puree and the Tandoori Lamb Chops which were fantastic. All the side dishes, especially the Tarka Dhal, were incredible. Special mention has to go to our waiter Abu who gave us tons of advice and got the chef to knock up a couple of special dishes not on the menu - and as if that wasn't enough - when there were no taxi's available he gave us a lift to our hotel! Talk about going the extra mile. Awesome!

Managed to get what looked like the last table on a very busy Friday night and so pleased we did. Great atmosphere, fab music, friendly service and best of all is the food. Probably the best Indian I have been to. Although all the traditional dishes are on the menu there are some very interesting chefs special. My salmon platter was delicious and something I've never tasted before. Wish we lived closer. Worth moving to Hook for 😁

Had two take aways now and both have been amazing. I've found my new local curry house. New to the area. It's odd how much a good curry house matters to me. Can't wait to walk my way slowly through the menu to find my favourite.

My wife and I had our best currys for a long time. I had a king prawn balti with a side vegetable curry and naan bread and it was delicious. My wife had a king prawn biriyany which was also delicious. We will definitely return.

First visit, suggested by our hosts. Bustling but tables not too packed in. Staff were attentive and up for a bit of banter. Great food - I'm not good with very spicy but our waiter asked me what I liked in general and said, "leave it to me". He nailed it! Will be going back, I expect.

Lovely place, very friendly and accommodating staff. Decor and lighting sets the tone. Food was very good, served quickly and tasty. One gentleman ordered a hot sizzling dish that had the whole restaurant coughing which was a great icebreaker and bonding experience for the night! Can't fault the place. Will eat there again.

The best Indian food I have had in and around the Fleet area. We could not fault the food and enjoyed the Lamb Bhuma and the Chicken Lawjab as mains. We collected the order and it was within the time stated online. I would highly recommend Monsoon and I will definitely be going back!

We were staying in the area and we read that this Restaurant is very highly rated. The food was good, although we have had better in other Indian Restaurants. The Manager/Owner was very friendly to us but we heard him several times shout at his staff, which made us feel uncomfortable and we felt he was trying to push us into buying alcohol. I would not normally write a negative review for what is written above, however, my family still can not believe what the Manager said to us when we were ready to pay the Bill. He brought the card machine to our table and as one of us was about to tap in to pay the amount ( which was not small), he said to us and I quote "ARE YOU GOING TO ADD THE TIP ONTO THIS OR WILL YOU PAY IT SEPARATELY? " We were all absolutely gobsmacked by this as everyone knows that Tipping is not mandatory and if he wanted to make sure the Restaurant received tips, then they should add on a Service Charge. Out of embarrassment and not wishing to leave the Restaurant with a scene, we told him to add money to the card machine. He did this and did not even say, "Thank You". In this current economic climate, eating out is a treat and a luxury and some diners may only have the price of their meal. Reflecting on this in disbelief, and after relaying this to other family members who were equally shocked, I felt I had to write this review to warn other diners. We will definitely not be returning when visiting the area again.

Am currently sat in Monsoon right now for dinner with the other half. This is our first time eating here and we are so blown away by the deliciousness and quality of the food and the friendliness of all the staff! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The flavours are just amazing and the staff are so kind and welcoming - Best Indian we’ve had by far - you have to try it!

We enjoyed a great family meal at Monsoon. It was a Sunday evening and the restaurant was fairly quiet. Service was attentive without being over fussy. The mixed grill was cooked to perfection and one of the best I’ve experienced anywhere! The chicken in the vindaloo was juicy and tender and delivered on spice and the chilli naan complemented it well. All the dishes we had were enjoyable. A great all round experience and I’m looking forward to returning soon.

The food was excellent, lots of choice and the manager recommended a different curry as we had both ordered a madras, both equally spicy but the different flavours were really noticeable. The staff were really friendly and made our visit a real treat, we will be back!

The food and atmosphere at this place is amazing… BUT the last 2 occasions we have booked and had confirmation of the booking…. They were double booked. The 2nd occasion they thought we had cancelled… which we certainly hadn’t… but worth the aggravation.

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant as many people I know rate it highly. I ordered a typical British choice but I can’t lie I do love a good chicken tikka masala! I was left so disappointed it had a chicken tikka appearance...

Best curry in the area!! We ordered takeaway and it was ready for collection in less than 40 mins. We had the Lamb Kahari and the Broccoli Malai. Both were fantastic and very flavourful. Staff were so friendly and the restaurant had a great atmosphere when we went and picked up the food. Will definitely be coming back!

A great Indian restaurant with friendly staff and good food. Always willing to modify dishes to personal tastes. Personally, I'd like more authentic dishes as they are much better than the Anglised versions readily offered, but I appreciate that to some extent the establishment has to cater for the locals tastes.

Fabulous restaurant, amazing food, friendly and fun service, lovely atmosphere. This is one of our favourite restaurants locally. Always good. It has been a while since we have dined in but we will be back soon.
