This cafe is a great little find, staff are very friendly and polite. Full English Breakfast to baked potato to kids meals to full dinners. it so is worth a visit. I give it a 10 out of 10 very clean

The manager on the day was very rude to various family members and when we complained they was not really listening to our actual complaint and in the end just said thank you for your feedback. We was recommended this pub to take our brothers wake here after his funeral. When we booked here the lady that booked us in seemed really nice until the day that we went into the restaurant. We was greeted by a different lady. Who had the ump.the whole time we was there. When serving not once did she smile and seem to be rude when serving. The food was nice but the service was atrocious from the bar lady. This really upset me as it was my brother's wake and I have many people coming up to me saying about how rude she was. So I wouldn't recommend this place as awake they like to take your money and I should imagine they took a bit on that day but the service was terrible.

We visited yesterday for a meal after a long walk as a group of 6 with a dog. The staff were so accommodating and friendly and I cannot fault the service. The food was all good, everyone was happy with their meals (we all ordered differently) and wouldn’t hesitate to come back ! Thank you

Proper country pub , excellent variety of beers and ales from abroad and local breweries. Friendly atmosphere one of the best pubs in area. If you like traditional then this pub certainly ticks all the boxes .. would highly recommend.

Very rude and aggressive staff causing an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment. Treated my group of friends very poorly.....Avoid!

The food is good, what there is of it and some staff are really nice however most of them are rude. There is limited selection of food here and it is not dog friendly inside at all even if it is raining. Not a fan of this cafe. Would only recommend a coffee from here. Over priced as well
