This cafe is a great little find, staff are very friendly and polite. Full English Breakfast to baked potato to kids meals to full dinners. it so is worth a visit. I give it a 10 out of 10 very clean

The photos of women in the toilets are disgusting. Do you think it is acceptable to portray women like this? They are truly offensive Please remove them

We went to the Darnley Arms for Sunday lunch. This is a really friendly, really authentic English village pub. Friendly staff who provide great service and great food. Excellent, well done Darnley Arms team

We was recommended this pub to take our brothers wake here after his funeral. When we booked here the lady that booked us in seemed really nice until the day that we went into the restaurant. We was greeted by a different lady. Who had the ump.the whole time we was there. When serving not once did she smile and seem to be rude when serving. The food was nice but the service was atrocious from the bar lady. This really upset me as it was my brother's wake and I have many people coming up to me saying about how rude she was. So I wouldn't recommend this place as awake they like to take your money and I should imagine they took a bit on that day but the service was terrible.

the service was slow. The slow roast beef was tough ( could have sole and heeled boots). Servings were minimal. Veg was good Sorry guys would not recommend

Proper country pub , excellent variety of beers and ales from abroad and local breweries. Friendly atmosphere one of the best pubs in area. If you like traditional then this pub certainly ticks all the boxes .. would highly recommend.

Visited here today with a friend for a Sunday Roast. We have been here many times for the roasts and the Breakfast, both are brilliant and great value for money. Always welcoming and always great food. Sarah our server was lovely and very helpful and attentive and full of energy as was the Carvery server, not sure on his name but we see him often when we go there, he even called over to make sure we had got our Yorkshire puds. Great atmosphere and the staffs attention to us to make sure we had a great experience made it a Brilliant little treat. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

The food is good, what there is of it and some staff are really nice however most of them are rude. There is limited selection of food here and it is not dog friendly inside at all even if it is raining. Not a fan of this cafe. Would only recommend a coffee from here. Over priced as well
