The best restaurants in Christchurch Gosport South East

We went to Chef's for a full breakfast to start my brothers birthday celebrations yesterday. We got a warm welcome and chose our table. Everything was spotless. Service was quick and friendly, the mugs of tea were generous and tasted like you dream a cup of tea is going to taste. The food was piping hot, perfect portion size and down right delicious! Hubby had bacon, egg and chips, my brother and I had full fry up. His chips were crunchy on the outside, fluffy inside (had to taste quite a few to be sure!) Everything on my plate, and my brothers was devoured and I didn't leave even a drop of baked bean sauce on my plate it was so lovely! We had three full plates of food and three hot drinks and it was only £12.00! Highly recommended.

Fantastic selection of beers on tap and fellow patrons are really friendly. The pub dog is particularly partial to a soft pat or two, 10/10 recommend. I don't think the publican likes people or is very introverted and thus 3/5 for service, but were not rude. This should not put you off visiting. They don't have food available but have snacks available, and lets face it, you are there for the beers.

This is more so a delivery however i think this is the best tasting Indian food we have ever had. The flavour is amazing! I was looking for somewhere to leave a review about this business. Honestly wouldn't hesitate to recommend, we are new to the area and this is the 3rd/4th time we have ordered.

Really enjoyed everything apart from the ribs. Probably worst I’ve ever had. Only 2 actual proper ribs with meat on. The other 3 or 4 were end bits covered in fat chewy bits with barely any meat on don’t feel like the sauce was sticky either which is what’s said in the description, was a bit thin.

Smashing piece of cod, I ordered large and it was massive. Very well cooked nice and flakey too.

Visited on Monday 9th October just before 2 oclock and were told we were to late for lunches but could have sanwiches etc. Got the impression that they didnt want us in there as they wanted to close.The food we had was fine but we felt very rushed to finish and leave, sorry but wont be coming back.Not a very welcoming experience.

Have used this chinese for over 20 years when known as Kwok Wah and Hong Kong Chef, even driving from out of the area as the Chinese chips and curry were legendary, however new owner has changed the food, and although nice, it just wasn't the same and not worth coming from afar any more. Ok food but no longer worth their legendary status!

So delicious - I’ve ordered delivery twice now and both time the pizza has been hot on arrival and perfect!

My partner and I ordered a delivery takeaway from here 17th December 2023 (for my birthday) ordered through their website and an hour and a half later still no food so we phoned them and a guy answered and told us they were permanently closed. We didn't get a refund either so would highly recommend avoiding this place

My wife orders from here all the time for us! Honestly the best Chinese food in the Gosport area. The people here are amazing! I recommend this place to everyone. Our order often comes to less than £20 yet can feed 3 people easily. Cheapest takeaway around and still 100% the best quality takeaway you can get. 10/10 this place, and the people who work here, are amazing!

A well-sheltered and very comfortable port, equipped with 5-star sanitary facilities! We received a very warm welcome and were able to benefit from excellent quality pontoons and equipment.

They do open the box and don't pay the money out that people win don't recommend this place at all!! When asked for it to be sorted out they get really rude and aggressive! Imagine pocketing the hard earned money your punters put into your place for you to rob them blind what a shambles
