I have been to Bobby's many times over the years and they have never disappointed! Food is always fresh and delicious. Their meat risotto is fantastic.

Popped in on the off chance, table procured for us very quickly. Service was quick and efficient. I ordered salmon with linguine, partner ordered the arrabietta. Both arrived within an adequate timescale (we are not fans of food arriving within 5 mins of ordering), was hot and tasty. Would be very happy to frequent this restaurant again.

I had a calzone which just tasted too processed. The ham was sausage, the chicken looked like frozen cubes. I maybe had high expectations of Italian cooking with fresh food . It didnt work for me. . Friends had linguine which they liked a lot so maybe I was unlucky . One had a creamy one and one had the tomatoes base . Both fish based. Service was warm and helpful.

We visited Bobbys last night, family of 6. The food was really lovely and reasonably priced. Great place, love their little garden too.

Extremely friendly service. Food was excellent. Seafood linguine and spaghetti carbonara were delicious. Apple, pear and sultan crumble were the best we have ever had and the mint and baileys Panna cotta was amazing. We ate in the lovely courtyard out the back. Will definitely be back.

Another great visit to Bobby's. A firm family favourite with us, excellent pizza and some tasty specials. The burger and steak both excellent. Attentive service. Ask about the wines not on the list - very pleasant red.

All good apart from who can make the loudest noise throwing bottles in bottel skip. When your throwing the bottle you know there's going to be noise so not a problem to the bottle thrower. When you are a customer having a chat and a meal ( not expecting random loud glass smashing) it can make one jump.

Lovely food, service a little slow. Wish they would throw bottles into skip behind bar so hard as mad us jump several times.

A fairly simple kind of place. It's not packed with Italian excess. Decor more like a cocktail bar? Food was pleasant, pizza is good, my lasagne was tasty but very small? Slightly surprised they didn't have a nice Italian beer on draft. The only " pint " was Fursty Ferret ( which I like) but felt strangely at odds with the vibe.

Fantastic Italian restaurant, smaller menu, attention to detail in their cooking is fantastic. Recommend booking a table.

Second time here and wasn't disappointed, we had spaghetti bolognese and the chicken and chorizo penne lovely sauce, my chicken pieces were plentiful though a little bit dry for me , having said that I ate the whole bowlful ! Sauce was delicious. I will return.

Managed to fit us in as a walk-in. Really good GF menu. Lovely food and lovely service. Thank you!

Food is always delicious, I especially love the garlic butter sticks to start. Pizza and pasta dishes are always delicious. Cocktails aren't too good and the service can be a little slow, but it is by far one of the best restaurants in Gosport and I will keep coming back.

Restaurant wasn’t busy . 30 minutes after arriving our food order hadn’t been taken - we asked for this twice - the first time we where told that the kitchen was busy and so we would have to wait , after asking again our order was finally taken. The food was ok but we had to wait a while to ask for the bill and then the card machine . Wouldn’t rush back .

Such a lovely restaurant, the staff were really helpful advising on what I could have gluten free. All but one of the specials could be gluten free and there was plenty of options on the menu!! The gf foccacia bread was phenomenal I actually questioned was it gf it was so good! Will certainly visit again soon ❤️❤️

The food and service was good but my main grievance is with the menu. It is very confusing for vegetarians. Some of the dishes labelled "V" are clearly not suitable for vegetarians eg Portobello mushrooms with Serrano ham! Some of the dishes are vegetarian(according to the waitress) but not labelled as such eg mushroom rissotto. None of the desserts are labelled "V". Is this correct. I feel more attention to labelling needs to be paid.

It's... Fine. But there is no Italian feel to it. No Italian red wines! The food was either overcooked and dry or tasteless with no seasoning. I feel like the person who cooked it has never been to Italy or had a decent love of food. The wine we ordered (Spanish) was brought to our table already uncorked and it wasn't even poured for us. When I questioned it they said the cork was very big so they do it at the bar we left half our food which was a real shame. Go to Arty's instead.

Last minute decision to come here,and it was a good one. Everything about Bobby's is excellent. I would recommend a visit.

Have been here once before but this current (and probably last) visit was not so good. The waitress seemed somewhat acerbic, so not a good start. We had tiger prawns - the smallest things we've ever seen! They were supposed to be garlic prawns, which slightly alarmed one of our guests as he hates garlic. He needn't have worried as we couldn't detect any garlic in either smell or taste! The carbonara had way too much cheese in it so was somewhat 'gluey'. One of the others had risotto which, again, was kind of 'gluey'. Didn't bother with dessert as we didn't want another disappointment.

Visited here a few years ago and we liked it. Down here again for the week so decided to try it again. Menu is small and not fussy but does have a good choice for gluten free which we needed for two of the party. New waitress but she did well apart from getting my starter wrong but it wasn’t a problem. Would go again

We visit Bobbys at least once a month it’s become a must! The bread sticks to start are absolutely delicious, pizza better than Italy and the ‘special board’ in addition to main menu is crazy delicious. The staff, family run can’t do enough for you & we are always made so welcome Good value with no automatic service charge, so you can apply your own tip which is much more friendly We thoroughly enjoy every visit. Food was hardly warm, couldn’t be eaten and was left.

Always provide good food, well worth the money. Delivery service is always prompt and friendly, in all weather. On the few occasions eating in the restaurant service is just as good with a lovely atmosphere to the place. One of my favourites by far.

Fabulous New Year’s Eve celebration made brilliant by the staff . Nothing too much trouble and food fantastic. 1 vegetarian, 1 strawberry allergy - both catered for brilliantly.

It was my birthday and my husband wanted to take me somewhere special. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was clean and after ordering drinks we ordered our food. The food came and it was amazing. So tasty and enjoyable. Highly recommended and I did indulge in one or two Lemon Gins and omg they were so delicious.

Ambiance is quite and cozy. Ideal for birthday celebrations and dinner. Foods are superb. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Five of us visited on a Saturday evening. Starters were excellent. Main meals all freshly prepared and delicious. Drinks were reasonable. Pepsi was served when the menu stated it was coke.

I've been meaning to try this restaurant since the first day they ever opened but never got round to it, Last night I finally did, food was absolutely amazing, best pizza in Gosport by a long way. I certainly will be using this place going forward from now on.

When we arrived and after 20mins had not had our order taken I called the waiter over. He said we could not order yet as the chef already had a few orders. The restaurant only had a few people in. This was the worst meal I have had. Salad was gritty, had obviously not been washed and main meal lukewarm and tastless. Needless to say I did not have a dessert. Will not be going back

This is a great restaurant! We weren't sure how it would be because the photos didn't look that good. Our food was excellent, the service was great and it was good value for money. They really need to update their photos as it doesn't do them justice at all.

By far this is the best Italian restaurant in the local area. It has a lovely atmosphere, the food is lovely with very reasonable prices and all staff are friendly. The service is outstanding. I can highly recommend Bobby's.

A quick trip for a birthday celebration on Saturday, we stayed locally and looked at what people had said on TripAdvisor re local restaurants. We wanted an Italian restaurant and Bobby's had an early table. Perfect. Starters were good, my wife had the Calamari (I thought too much batter) but she was happy. I had a Caprese salad. Also good. But the best part was the main course. She had the chargrilled venison steak, I took the sea bass fillet. Both dishes were fabulous. Tasty, well cooked and equally well presented. We shared a salted caramel and vanilla sundae. A glass of wine each and the total was a reasonable £64. Service was proficient and attentive without being too fussy. A family run business, a warm environment, what more can you ask for? Highly recommended. Paul

Gluten free food was delicious!

Great selection of gluten free options including pizza (really hard to find real gluten free in Gosport!). Freshly cooked and lovely. Service was polite but perhaps a little reserved, but could just be a bit shy. The place was quite empty but we were sat at a table in the bar area rather than the main restaurant which was a shame, but still nice. Would definitely recommend and we will return.

Last night we had our work Christmas party. There was 16 of us yet the large number did not affect the service and quality of food as it does in some places. Everyone enjoyed themselves and commented on the lovely relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious as always and there was plenty to choose from. They are very good at catering for dietary requirements so none of our group felt ‘left out’ as it were. Thank you to the whole team for making it such a lovely evening.

Everyone else enjoyed their meal except me. Was spoilt night before with a good steak at The Seahorse bar and grill. When the waitress asked if we needed anything else I asked for some mustard and said my steak was very tough. Nothing was done bit I did get some mustard. Foxes at Gosport Marina enjoyed my steak as I took it from the restaurant for them.

The menu choice was more than adequate for the size of the venue. What we had was presented well and tasted delicious. I highly recommend the panda cotta. Yummy.

First time here but definately not our last. We shared the portbello mushroom and garlic bread with cheese, both of which were very tasty and hot. Then came the mains. I had the seafood risotto and my wife had the macaroni chesse. Both dishes were fantastic. Manyv thanks to Leah & Carol great service.

Italian food is not usually my preference but I was so glad I chose to eat here, the food was lovely, well presented, and the staff very friendly. The calamari was probably the best I'd ever had! I thoroughly enjoyed everything and would definitely eat here again.

Not normally a fan of Italian food but pleased to find all pasta dishes are gluten free and there was something to suit all tastes. Open kitchen so you can see the chefs working. Service was excellent too.

Good food and pleasant staff, we had a lovely evening.

The focaccia was just a fancy baguette with an olive oil dip and balsamic vinegar really poor for the cost. The main I’ve ordered a chicken and chorizo penne and well where should I start the chicken was just boiled and chopped kebab stile and the pasta overcooked and put in the plate with the water which made the whole sauce runny and not nice to eat. Won’t be going there again for certain.
