We went to Chef's for a full breakfast to start my brothers birthday celebrations yesterday. We got a warm welcome and chose our table. Everything was spotless. Service was quick and friendly, the mugs of tea were generous and tasted like you dream a cup of tea is going to taste. The food was piping hot, perfect portion size and down right delicious! Hubby had bacon, egg and chips, my brother and I had full fry up. His chips were crunchy on the outside, fluffy inside (had to taste quite a few to be sure!) Everything on my plate, and my brothers was devoured and I didn't leave even a drop of baked bean sauce on my plate it was so lovely! We had three full plates of food and three hot drinks and it was only £12.00! Highly recommended.

Stopped off here whilst on a long cycle ride for a cuppa. We sat outside in the sun and ordered 2 coffees. They arrived in huge hugs and were only £1 each -fantaztic value! Friendly service too. Would have given 5 stars but there choice of fruit teas was limited - only early grey available.

After living in Gosport for over twenty years and as a firm proponent of the institution of the 'Full English' I can heartily recommend Chefs. I've visited every breakfast establishment in the area and can only say that the quality, value for money and, indeed, quantity leaves the competition in the stalls. Visit whenever I can.

Love the breakfasts, the best in Gosport, puts other to shame! Clean, friendly, great choice of food and the cook will cook to order! GREAT VALUE and GREAT portion size.

I really like this cafe and it is incredibly cheap. Three drinks, toast and a cupcake came to less than a fiver. You'd pay double for that in Costa! Chef's has a good breakfast menu and also does lunches for amazing prices which I look forward to sampling.
