Down in the area for a few days, found this restaurant by accident. Staff excellent, the wine good, the food is probably the best Thai food we have had. Had a fantastic evening, thoroughly recommend

We went as couple for my birthday and had the most delicious meal. Service was good and food was fresh and steaming hot. Beautifully decorated inside. A real little gem of a restaurant.

Saw the positive reviews so ordered a takeaway, and while it was pleasant, it didn't really have the flavour of an authentic Thai. I've been to Thailand lots of times and eaten in many Thai restaurants and this was lacking. Penang curry and chilli basil stir-fry quite bland and pad Thai had none of the usual flavours - even had lemon instead of lime. Was disappointed, and although it was pleasant, I wouldn't order again.

We particularly enjoyed the Penang Curry, All dishes were excellent and the delivery was prompt. I will definitely order from Suphawadi again. Highly recommended. Thanks!😊

Absolutely stupendous. Exemplary service. A mouthwatering meal that made my taste buds tingle with excitement. This family owned restaurant is exta ordinary. If you enjoy visiting hidden gems then this cannot be missed even if you have to travel from Scotland for dinner. Would definitely be worth the journey and will not leave you disappointed. Affordable pricing that defies the level of cusine.

Food was delicious, delivery was faster than stated. Please, however consider using different containers.. 2 of the 3 quite liquid dishes leaked quite badly and it was pretty messy inside that bag!

Always a warm welcome and the most amazing Thai food. Been many times, highlights include the Thai Green Curry, Penang curry and Phad Thai dishes. Their Tofu is delicious also if you are vegetarian.

Over priced and not worth the price.

Seated us last minute before they stopped serving food, and gladly took our orders. Food was served quickly, was absolutely delicious and hot, and we wernt rushed out of the door either. Lovely to see it thriving!

Food is acceptable but not exceptional, and the service is very good, and friendly. But the prices are crazy: e.g. 4 large bottles of lager £30, mixed starters for 6 easily served on two dinner plates £40. Big city prices in a small unloved town, close to an area subject to a police curfew because of ASB. Doesn't work for me.

This restaurant never fails to deliver. We started going there after “lockdown”. The service is excellent and the food is superb. There’s is no comparison for example, when compared with The Creek, where the service is awful and the food average. Highly recommended.

One of the best quality takeaway foods we’ve had for a very long time, a little higher on price than usual but you definitely get what you pay for and I would happily order again

Wow! We had a takeaway set meal for 2 and, although not cheap at £22, it was worth every last penny!!! Such vibrant and totally delicious food. A big thumbs up and recommended 👍

First time Ive eaten Thai food so I have nothing to compare it with we loved the corn fritters, soup and beef and ginger.T.he rest was good as well .

Ate here last night, a proper lovely tasting Thai meal. We had the set menu, great portions, piping hot, great value, fantastic friendly staff - what more can you ask for .... top notch

Great quality food that turned up hot even though the delivery distance was about 10-15 mins away! Would always recommend for takeaway and dine-in meals!

I like this place - but it is a treat. Seeing some other comments saying great food and great price - I must disagree with the latter. The food is good and better than you can make at home for sure, but the menu has been reduced somewhat which is slightly disappointing. It also don't justify the increase in cost which makes this place a rare treat instead of a regular haunt. The staff are polite and nice - although at times the service from the kitchen is slow. A noddle dish, stir fry, rice and start isnt far off £40 - and while to dine in that's "okish" it's not for a takeaway.

Went for dinner with a friend, service was friendly but slow however they were very busy. Food was timely and very enjoyable. The staff were very helpful and we had a very nice evening.

Large portion, packed well, tasted lovely. Arrived approximately 35 earlier than delivery estimated time of arrival.

Was looking forward to the Thai crackers, sadly not received.

The food was fantastic. My partner had Thai red chicken curry with coconut rice which he loved. I had lamb Massaman Curry with fried rice which was amazing, except that it was very salty. The pieces of lamb in it were so soft and tasted gorgeous. I will just ask them to ‘go easy on the salt if I have it again.

The food is really excellent, and I particularly recommend the Tom Yum soup which is flavoured beautifully. The staff also went out of their way for me in delivery to my hotel. A really great find, highly recommended.

Long sentence following for comedic effect.....If u wanna wait for over a hour for your main and you don't mind 'having' to ask for service and not being asked if u would like more drinks and u wanna feel like a second class customer to people walking in to pick up their phoned in orders and like to see staff running around rushed off their feet because the place is understaffed then this is your goto restaurant in Gosport. Unfortunatley my main course was very underwhelming to boot. Gotta say though the staff did the best they could, I s'pose the owner is cutting corners in the pursuit of £'s. I have never felt the need to write a google review b4 so believe me 'what I have written is the truth'. The above meal took place at 7pm Saturday and at less than 50% capacity ! ( I had to choose 2 STARS so that I could even post this review)

Fancied trying this Thai restaurant near my moms ordered directly as no app used. Ordered Pad Thai tofu & veg excellent flavour but very little tofu. Beef massaman curry lacked both beef & all noodles & onions, not good (4 small chunks of meat) . Jasmine steamed rice was crunchy. Won’t be reordering, disappointing.

We visited on Valentine’s evening without a booking. They kindly managed to fit us in. The food and service were excellent. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that one of the servers didn’t have her hair tied back and another server kept touching her hair even though it was tied back. Basic hygiene is important!

First time ordering, usually get Chinese but it’s closed on a Wednesday. Everything was really tasty, the spring rolls were really fresh and flavoursome, Pad Thai was lovely, only complaint is there was nothing ‘jasmine’ about my rice. Despite this I will definitely order again, or visit the restaurant!

Poor value for money , had a mixed platter stater which was very poor and prawn pad Thai which only had 4 prawns .

Not good this time at all.. the Jasmine rice was wet and stodgy like sticky rice.. and the duck rolls tasted of fish !! The beef in the curry was tough as leather . Not good at all. Will give this a miss for a while . Expect a lot better food for the very high prices

Came by this place more by accident than design, and so glad I did. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. A Thursday night, so maybe not expected to be busy. Food was presented well and plentiful. Dumplings to start, then the beef Thai green curry and jasmine rice.

Have visited this lovely places 4 years ago and it is just as welcoming and lovely as then. Food is interesting and exceptionally good! Both our dishes were delightful, beautifully prepared and presented. Reasonably priced and exceptional service. We do recommend a visit!

Table for 10 celebrating my brother's 60th Birthday on a busy Saturday night. The food was 1st class and of good quality, the service (considering it was a full restaurant) was very good the staff worked tirelessly. A really good night had by us all.

I really like this Thai, staff are great it's a family business. It's on the Stoke Rd which is the nicer part of the town centre. We loved this place, starters were tasty, sweetcorn fritters especially, my red curry was delicious and my partner tried a new curry and loved it. We'll definitely be back the only thing that was a little annoying was the speed of service but the food more than made up for that and they were clearly very busy.

I’ve spent 11 years chasing the flavours of a massaman curry I first tried in Thailand! And I’ve finally found them again….. absolutely incredible flavour. thanks you so much. (Only sour point was 45 min delay of requested delivery time)

Not worth the money for the very small portion you get waste of money

Called in mid week after finding it on TripAdvisor. Pleasant but unobtrusive staff. Starters and mains decent enough. I was surprised how they dealt with the Card payment though. The guy brought the machine so I got my card out ready and put it on the table ready for him inputting the details, so I could then either do the contactless thing or insert it and put my PIN in, if need be. But he picked it up off the table without saying anything or asking politely, before he’d inputted the actual amount which I thought was odd - especially as the amount fell under the new contactless limit of £100. No idea what this was all about as I’ve never seen anyone do this before or since.

Called in on the 8th February , not knowing that they had only opened on that day following a break . Always found the food to a good standard , however although the starter was satisfactory our main courses of ‘Chicken Pad Cha ‘ was very disappointing. Bland , lacking in flavour and dry . Surprised to say the least .
