tea party that i attended for a friends birthday was superb, friendly service and welcoming feel about the place

Went to the cowboy night and the roadhouse DJ became very aggressive with my partner because of a joke. Told us both to “f**k off” even though I had no idea what had happened he then squared up to my partner and was extremely disrespectful towards both of us. Think he needs to learn some manners when it comes to handling customers! Ruined the night and we wont be back.

Found this place when looking for lunch after a visit to Howletts. And what a good choice it turned out to be. An excellent pint followed by a great value set lunch. All food was tasty and well presented.

Fantastic meal yet again tonight in a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Good local beer from Canterbury ales . What more can you ask for👌

Very friendly hospitality and great service. We had a lovely meal here (liver and bacon was fantastic). Good choice of wines and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back and are recommending to friends.

Nice bread. Pastries poor (unpleasant creme filling in chouxbuns and viennese swirls-not fresh cream). Coffee seemed to be instant coffee.

Eaten here 2 days in a row, food great as was the ambience. Mel was a lovely host / bar lady. Cheers

Lovely Sunday lunch today, £21 for a 3 course meal is great value and yet the food was really good too! Efficient service also worth a mention.

We had a delicious lunch sitting in the courtyard of the restaurant. A very varied menu and friendly service. It is definitely on my list of 'go to' places for a meal out.

Amazing welcome and service , had the calves liver with crispy bacon and caramelised onions and it was superb , hubby had game pie also delicious , the manageress recommended a lovely rose for me too . Thoroughly recommend the place and would definitely return

We went for a drink and decided to eat.. OMG the food was amazing. My other half had the Tenderloin of Pork, very tender, very flavoursome, and I had the Vegetable Curry absolutely banging. Both just the best and also super value. Loved it. BTW, ask for the Portuguese Rose, which is divine.

Booked a table for dinner with the family at 6pm. Arrived before and hardly any diners there. Ordered some starters and mains. Starters can reasonably quick. However, then waited an hour for mains after several enquiries. No one cleared the table and empty starter plates were still on table when mains came. Took our own glasses back to bar to make some space. Food was terrible, carbonara was watery like soup, pie was congealed. Not a great experience.

Have visited Salma restaurant a few times and every visit has been delightful. The staff are friendly and attentive as well as knowledgeable about the dishes and can advise if you're not 100% sure what you want. The food itself is wonderful, the owner took time to discuss what my friend and I wanted for dinner and came up with a selection of dishes to suit. Each dish was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Worth every penny and would recommend anyone to visit
