The best restaurants in Little Stour and Ashstone Dover South East

Really cute pub, with lovely fairy lights inside and a nice big garden at the back. The service is fab, friendly and helpful. Good price for the drinks and food. The food isn’t fancy, but we had a tasty big plate of scampi and chips.

Lovely pub in a lovely location at which my faith in steak has been restored ..after years of having bad steaks in many different restaurants around the world , my faith was restored in the food again at this restaurant. Best I have had in decades, so I will be back. Other food served was also excellent . The price was reasonable and the staff were great

My wife and I took advantage of the £200 dinner, bed and breakfast offer. The room was lovely, dinner was excellent and breakfast was very good. The service from welcome, through dinner and breakfast was absolutely excellent.

I was disappointed to be honest. Poached eggs on toast had hard yolks and was on thin white bread that was slightly burnt and hard from being so thin. Poor value for money. With a little effort it could be so much better.. Shame! Will not return.

We have passed this pub/restaurant and heard from friends that they had a new chef. And a great new menu. Have now visited three times since lovely welcome. Lovely owners

Had a fantastic meal! Had the steak and we was told it was supplied from Preston Butchers.. guess where our next meat order is coming from! Proper dinner and fairly priced! They don't do ale on draught, but understand why. Just ask. Kids were more than welcome to play on the play equipment outside and not sure why people would say otherwise! More than enough signs saying please be respectful with regards to age appropriate. Owners more than friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make us welcome Current owners been there over 12 years, must be doing something right despite the few bad reviews in my opinion . Give this place a go. You wont be disappointed.

Amazing meal the kebab was well cooked not over done. The chicken Donna was full of chicken breast well cooked again well done I will definitely be eating your food again. Delivered on time by a very nice friendly driver 👍😊.
