The best restaurants in Amersham Town Chiltern South East

We had visited Amersham a couple of days before and were not aware of an old town so went back to explore. The town was extremely pretty so we called into this cafe, which was immaculately clean and welcoming. The waitress greeted us with a friendly smile and we were seated. Gluten free choices were explained to my partner (which seems to be rare elsewhere) We ordered, and both thoroughly enjoyed our food and the coffee was lovely too, not bitter like some places. The cakes were 'naughty but nice' so we had to sample the offerings of course. We can highly recommend this cafe, for food choices, ambience and excellent staff. We would definitely return if we were in the area again. We Live in Suffolk, but were visiting family in Pinner for Mother's day weekend.

This was the most delicious Chicken Tikka Masala (creamy and tasty) and Keema Naan bread I have ever had. We didn’t eat in but did Takeaway. 20 mins to wait. When I’m back in the UK and if I’m in lovely Amersham again it I will be straight in.

Outside is nice but most tables uncomfortable in cafe bit. Service off hand and be careful as in small print in menu they mention 20% VAT applied to dine in and 10% discretionary service. So on looking at the menu you need to add 30% if eating in.. thought it was not good value for money

Consistently our favourite night out anywhere. Drop at No11 is an absolute treat. James who runs the place is a superb host with an encyclopaedic knowledge of wine. The drink itself is first class and is always accompanied by exceptional cheese and wine. We pay this bar a visit every time we can get a babysitter. It’s absolutely our ‘happy place’ Would give more than 5 stars if we could.

A quite and nice birthday lunch in a cozy ambience.Food was amazing each dish was packed with flavours.Staff was very welcoming.Value for money.

Lovely Afternoon Tea, washed down with sumptuous glass of prosecco, excellent, friendly, service and relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely go again.

The calamari and chicken Caesar salad are both amazing with a side of zucchini fries. The atmosphere and service is brilliant aswell. I would highly highly recommend

Visit here regularly when I am in the area with work. Lovely place to have a little treat & relax whilst I'm on my break. Located inside Tesco so very handy.

Excellent food: and great service from Sally. Recommended. Lovely menu: delicious cod risotto. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant.

We celebrated my triplet daughters 17th birthday,we were given a glass of Prosecco on arrival,the food was excellent,especially the Asian prawns ,our waiter was very attentive and super friendly ,the restaurant was very clean and warm ,out while experience was fabulous,highly recommend

A lovely historic English pub with welcoming staff and the food was very good. There should be more pubs like this, I think it's a superb traditional establishment.

Where do I start….. food was 20minutes early and cold. We informed the restaurant to leave food at the back of our home yet the delivery driver continued to bang on our front door until, I believe, he actually read the note and left the food at the back. Meat in the starter was undercooked, naan was undercooked, potatoes were over cooked and the chicken was undercooked and not fresh (had a greyish look about them). All our food was inedible, resulting in organising a dinner before the football! We’ll be applying for a full refund!! First time we have ordered here and it was the worst Indian take out we’ve had. Never ordering here again!

I have just had a phone call from my elderly parents & they have asked me to write a review on their behalf. They visited yesterday, Saturday 13th November ‘21 for a light lunch at midday. They both asked for a bowl of soup & whilst the soup was tasty they were both absolutely aghast when the bill arrived. £18.00 for 2 bowls of soup. Yes, you read that correctly, £9.00 for a small bowl. When they asked the waiter why it was so expensive the reply was “It is homemade” Of course it’s homemade, it’s a restaurant. I have been in the restaurant business many years & unless you are ordering soup in a Michelin Star restaurant the price charged at this establishment is shocking. I am not in the habit of writing bad reviews but my parents feel so aggrieved by this that they have asked me to post this for them.
