Smartened up interiors look good. However, the quality of the food continues to fall – the bacon and egg sandwich was really quite poor. Soggy toast, undercooked bacon which was also very fatty. Breakfast burrito used to be fantastic but they have replaced full chorizo sausages with diced chorizo, rather spoiling the dish. Could be so much better!

Nice cafe with plenty to offer but poor value for money. The food was very nice in taste but they either need to provide bigger portions or bring down their prices. We had quiche which came with a deli side; some of us picked Greek salad as the side which turned out to be a small ramekin of cucumber, tomato and 1 olive. For £12.50 this should have easily been a whole side salad. The cafe busy so is obviously very popular and did come recommended, but seemed to have local and more affluent customers. Unlikely to visit again based on the above, perhaps only for coffee/cake. Staff very nice and helpful though.

My partner and I visited here for breakfast on a recent day trip to Amersham after recommendation from a colleague. We both had the seasons breakfast, eggs how you like them, sausage, bacon, mushroom, tomato and buttered toast for about £13. We each washed it down with a mocha and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were very pleasant and polite, the dining space is small but clean and clear and the food was very tasty for a reasonable price. The carrot and orange cake caught out eye so we decided to pop back in later in the day for a slice before making our way home. I'm very glad we did! It was delicious, beautiful frosting and perfectly moist sponge, one of the best carrot cakes I've had. We also had a fruit smoothie each this time around which was very refreshing on a warm summers day and very flavourful. We'll definitely be back here should we visit Amersham again.

Nice looking cafe/deli in Amersham. Multiple visits have proved they exist on local repeat custom from an affluent more elderly clientele. Very nice coffee. Pleasant staff at least on initial greeting/taking orders. Orders arrived swiftly. Unfortunately it goes slightly downhill after that. The only other interaction with staff was when asking for the bill…,which arrived within seconds. Tried to attract attention for another coffee to no avail. The food whilst ok was poor value at £32 for two pretty small portions and two coffees. The quiche was tasty and ok for a small appetite. The “special” sandwich was especially poor value. All bread with only two thin slices of salami and 2 of the thinnest slices of cheese I’ve ever seen through! Cost of living living clearly not an issue here. Visit for the coffee ….eat elsewhere .

We chose this cafe because it was busy - usually a sign of good food and service. In my opinion, this cafe is extortionately priced and the food we had was woefully inadequate. When we sat down we were next to a local couple who had ordered toasted tea cakes (at £3.25 each!) They had waited so long that they'd finished their coffee. They managed to get the attention of the manageress who said they were on the way and that the kitchen was very busy.....surprise, surprise at 11.30am on a Saturday! We both ordered lattes (£3.45 each) which arrived first and were nice, but could have been hotter. Our Tuna melt paninis (£9.95 each) were small and there was no visible sign of filling so, having taken a small bite, I took the top off to find the smallest glob of melted cheese and tiny smear of tuna mayo, which didn't cover even half of the panini. (I really wish I'd taken a photo) I called the manageress over to show her. She said "shall I add more filling"? A strange offer, but we accepted. It was returned to us in a few minutes without a word of apology and really wasn't a great improvement - but, how far do you go? The total bill was £26.80, which we paid without further complaint. Needless to say, if we find ourselves in Amersham again, we would not return to Seasons. It was the first place we found, but there are plenty of other places to go so have a look around. I can see that others have also commented on the prices and attitude of the manageress, so vote with your feet and go elsewhere! Incidentally, the toilet facilities are outside, one loo only, luckily it wasn't raining.

This place is outrageously expensive for what it is. £5.75 for two slices of bacon (which could easily have come from the supermarket) between ordinary white bread is unacceptable daylight robbery. £5.95 for two scoops of ice cream?! I understand that they’ve chosen to follow pricing of other nearby cafes and restaurants. However those places give you something special for the money they charge. There’s no way you’d get such inadequate food in The Grocer (next door) for example. The fact you might make a nice cake does not in any way justify ripping off customers elsewhere in the menu. The owners need to take a long hard look in the mirror. Their approach to pricing is an embarrassing disgrace and undermine the charm of our town.

I have never been in an establishment that has had management that is so rude. Being in the food Industry myself I feel I have must give a review to warn people. The food was average at the very best with scrimping of a filling, when asked reference this they agreed and came back with something just acceptable. You constantly had to ask for extra as they were scrimping all the time and this got tedious and embarrassing. The real fun was the bill, not only did they add extra items we didn't have, they also started charging extra for the items we should have had. When we went through the bill the little up start started getting rather unreasonable. Quite safe to say we won't be going back to this very below average expensive cafe. We went to Harrods the previous day and got what was expected and only a fraction more than this horrid place.

Went to Seasons yesterday for Brunch - really good food tasty , service quick and super staff . Some customers had dogs with them - not an issue as we're 'doggy' people - however a family near us had a sausage cooked for their dog - ok , but the customer added treats to this and put it on a side plate from the table for the dog to eat from - and afterwards put the plate back on the table which was collected by the staff - I immediately informed the manager so that the suspect crockery could be isolated . the manager was horrified and although I decided not to make an issue as this clearly was not the fault of the cafe - The manager hopefully will take steps to ensure this doesn't happen - most people would not allow their beloved canine chums to eat of their own plates - however I guess some people have different standards - This situation was a pity as I may think twice about going here again , the cafe is obviously popular and frequented by locals ,with and without dogs .

We had a lovely night at the boot and slipper, we were greeted by a friendly waitress, the service & food was excellent. The sea bass was delicious! Looking forward to my next visit in December.

Cycled past many times looked v nice so decided to pop in for a drink 2 weeks ago. Barmaid v chatty good feel about the place lighting perfect candles on nice background music. You could tell the lady working cared about the business! After this visit we decided to go back last night for a meal. So different no smile or hello when walked in 2 team working just didn’t look happy actually looked like they had fallen out. Sat at table one of them brought menu then we chose a bottle of wine which was nice and came quick. We then sat there 15 mins before getting up and asking if we ordered at the bar or were they coming over.one if them came over and took the order, food came around 30 mins later. The food was ok but pies could have been bigger with more filling. After finishing nobody came and asked if we would like a dessert in the end I had to get up and ask for the bill. We then left feeling v disappointed all round. Such a nice first visit what happened why such a let down. With prices high and pub in a small village out of the way it needs to be good every time not every other for it to survive in this tough environment. Not sure if will come back again 🤔
