Lovely meal during our short weekend away. This was such a great find. We were staying at Frensham Spa which was a short drive away. The food was excellent!!! The waiter was really good at recommending dishes. Our six year old son was also very impressed and was very full after the meal. Definitely would visit again.
Needed to be fed and rang on the off chance that they could feed us fairly late in evening.
No problem, told to pop round ASAP.
Friendly welcome on arrival.
Excellent meal with 1/2 litre of wine in jug. Just about right.
Sad news , they are closing in the new year and staff going back to the "Greek" in Maidstone.
We are not islanders and only two places would dare the eat on the island, here and a little micro pub in Queenbourgh. :)
Crying shame but classic case of use it lose it.
Food was amazing and staff were super friendly and welcoming. You can tell that they enjoy what they do. An amazing local company and much better than some major brands. Will be going again. More than worth a try, you won’t be disappointed.
This is pur second visit since this fantastic place has re started its BYO Friday and Saturday Evening Resteraunt again. Food is super fresh! Pizzas are incredible! Excellent value 2 or 3 course fixed price options across the menu. Ambiance great, front of house excellent. What can I say, just get back down to those who used to go to the Evening Resteraunt BYO and to those who haven't been yet, try it! We will be back again very soon.
Really lovely little place. Welcoming and warm. You can see the pizzas being made and everything is so fresh! No wonder they have been touted as one of the best pizzerias in the country.
The gluten free pizza was nothing short of incredible. They do require 1 hr notice for GF however if you mention when you book they will sort you out.
Really reasonable prices for top quality ingredients and the pizzas are huge!
Definitely will be back.
GARBAGE. Order after a long cold day at work. Pay in advance, Beware. DO NOT pay up front. Warm ish food and no drink. Another place fallen to crap service. INCOMPETENT. Was promised a refund. 10 days later, no refund and BTW, the email address on their website is non existent.

The food is delicious, the serving staff are brilliant - the only bad part is you could be anywhere - the restaurant has no view whatsoever of the surrounding beauty and winery - and the only glass door looks out to the car park.
I’d recommend just going to the tasting rooms which have a beautiful view.
I’ve been craving some fried bread for a while. After visiting this place I will not be touching anymore fried bread, or full English in general, with a barge pole for a while. Belchers satisfied the craving so much that I had to do a couple laps up and down Brighton pier to bring myself back to life. Has a man ever jumped to his death into the freezing ocean from a fry up overload… probably not but it was close to being a world first.
The atmosphere cultivated is exactly what you want from any proper cafe. A warming welcome from a sweet lady which feels like she’s essentially welcomed you into her living room contrasted by some of the most bleak looking geezers you’ve ever laid eyes on solemnly chowing down on an extra portion of beige.
The stain glass full English in the window was beautiful and lures you in for a colourful culinary experience. The reality is your in for every shade of brown in the working man’s rainbow. And your reward you’ll find at the end is big pot of regret.
Don’t get me wrong this is a positive review. It’s the real full English experience. It’s like I was in Layer Cake and was about to watch Morty take a kettle to the face.
One bloke came into the cafe and the dialogue was as such (names replaced):
Geezer 1: alright carol how’s it going?
Carol: alright Steve, just the usual today?
Geezer 1: just a cuppa tea carol
Carol: so no food today?
Geezer 1: nah a full English as well of course (insert look of surprise and disgust at carols suggestion)
Notes on ordering etiquette: swapping of items is tolerated BUT not the tomatoes which in hindsight is fare. I respect da rulez from Carol. Carol knows about breafastnomics and she doesn’t hold back on teaching you.
Ordering tip: an additional half size portion of bubble n squeak between two people is definitely enough food. You don’t want to find yourself staring into the abyss off the end of the pier.
Only criticisms would be:
- sausage was laid end-to-end (see picture)… savage behaviour
- the egg touching the beans could be considered negligence
- I can confirm the bacon was not cooked on a radiator
Ongoing debate: is it acceptable to serve fried bread alongside untoasted buttered bread? Someone has since told me you should make a friend bread sandwich (normal bread outside, fried bread in the middle)… i will be returning to conquer such a feat
Drive Thru, Eastnor Place, Witney OX28 4TJ, United Kingdom, England
Went through the drive thru for a quick coffee. Pulled up to the speaker and said what i wanted. Young lady proceeded to ignore everything i’d said and asked a bunch of questions that i had already answered. I asked for oat milk but they had ran out which is ridiculous for a coffee place. The most popular non-dairy should always be in stock. I didn’t want to complain as i know hospitality can be hard and things happen, it’s the person who did the ordering’s fault not theres. then i asked for caramel syrup, paid extra for caramel syrup. We pull up to the window and they proceed to not say anything as we pull up and when they pass us the drinks, the rudest customer service i’ve ever seen. Then as my partner drives away and we join the a40 i taste my drink to find there has been chocolate powder spilled all over the cup which is now on my clothes and there is no syrup in my drink. Absolutely disgraceful and will not be going back here ever again.

Delivered in good time. Plenty of flavour, but just a bit too on the ‘burn your mouth spicy’ side for us. What we ordered wasn’t stated as ‘hot’ on the menu.

Continues to rate as our top Indian in Twyford and Maidenhead District. Strangely though, on the last visit, directed to sit next to a large family group while the other half of the restaurant was empty upon arrival and still empty on departure. However, the quality of the food more than made up for it! Fast service; maybe a little too fast.
