The Shuffle House has hosted 2 birthday parties for us recently and have excelled at service both times through the booking process and the event itself. We are also regulars at the restaurant and recommend them very highly, the food and service is always great

We held our company party at Bogeys and the Shuffle House last week. From communication in the lead up and help on the day they were all great. We booked the boards and had the private area in the Shuffle House and was great with pizza for food! Everyone keeps messaging me to say they had a great time!

Can’t recommend enough had my daughter’s 9th birthday party here and the food was amazing fresh, great quality and everything you could want. The staff were super helpful and it was fantastic

Friendly staff and delicious pizza. We went to the shuffle house for my son’s birthday, and everyone left full and happy. Honestly the best pizza we’ve had in Tunbridge Wells, highly recommended.

You can see me raving about Shuffle House pizza in a previous comment. I thought they did the best pizza in Tunbridge Wells (the burrata & parma ham was incredible!!!). Unfortunately things have changed. I usually don't post about negative experiences but I just want to provide this feedback in the hope things may change! --- I've been a few times just to validate it wasn't a one-off but nope, pizzas are no good :( Overdone, burnt, crispy, not doughy nor cheesy enough. And just not 'tasty'. I understand the move to more exotic flavour toppings - I'm up for it - but they just aren't great.. especially compare to what they used to have before! They may be good if the base was improved but for now it's just not an enjoyable eating experience. And it's not just me who thinks it - those I was with also said they didn't enjoy their pizzas, and I also heard the lady on the next table talk similarly. Please bring back the old pizzas! We won't be returning for now but really hope the pizzas return to their former glory so we can come back many times like the good old days! ---- Aside from pizzas the tapas, desserts, staff, and ambiance are all amazing!!!

What a disappointment! Booked a table of 7 for my daughter’s 13th birthday over a month ago. Notified they were ‘running out of dough’ so we couldn’t all have pizzas, only for a friend and her family of 4 who walked in off the street 5 minutes later to all order pizzas. No offer of a discount, no explanation…just utterly poor service and management. What pizza restaurant runs out of dough?!?

Excellent food, we had a pizza and a selection of tapas. Plenty my gluten and dairy free wife and daughter could eat, and one of the best GF pizza bases I’ve tried! Our waitress was super helpful and accommodating too. Loved every second, will definitely be back!

We booked a table for 10 for family including 4 children (6 to 12). We had a great location at the back of the downstairs area. The welcome from Jennifer was warm and friendly, and service throughout was excellent. They were especially patient with the children, who had a great time. The food was excellent with great choices. We had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch - thank you!

Fast and friendly service. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Food was brought out quickly and we were utterly impressed with how delicious each dish was. The chicharrons were the favorite of the night!

I recently had the opportunity to dine at The Shuffle House with my family, and while I can't say enough good things about the food—it's truly amazing—the service was a complete letdown. As a Latin American family that has lived in Sevenoaks for years, we often visit on weekends during the early evening when the restaurant is usually not full. Unfortunately, we have consistently experienced terrible attention from the staff. The hostesses were unfriendly and unwelcoming, which is disappointing considering the inviting atmosphere the food suggests. What concerns me most is that the administration staff doesn’t seem to represent the warmth and vibrancy of our culture. Their awkward interactions made us feel uncomfortable and undervalued as customers. It's frustrating to have such a fantastic culinary experience overshadowed by poor service. I hope The Shuffle House can improve its guest relations because I genuinely want to return for the incredible food—but not if it means enduring such unpleasantness.

The Shuffle House provided an amazing venue for my daughter’s football team social. They effortlessly hosted 18 excited 12-year-old girls. The food platters were generous, tasty & excellent value, and staff were super friendly & efficient. Would highly recommend !!

We celebrated my Mum’s 70th birthday at the Shuffle House last Saturday night. We hired the shuffle boards and had an area for drinks and a buffet. Jen and her team were so attentive in both the planning and on the evening. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Having the shuffle boards for part of the evening was great entertainment for all ages. The buffet included both tapas and pizzas, was delicious and catered for all our dietary requirements. Thank you to Jen and the Shuffle House team for making Mum’s birthday celebration so special!

A fabulous get together for my daughter’s 13th birthday with 8 of her friends. Jennifer and her team couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating - we were allowed stagger the arrival of the food (of which there was plenty!), to bring our own cake and we were given lots of time at the table for present opening. A really fantastic late afternoon for the party - never disappointed at The Shuffle House.

I had a wonderful time at the Shuffle House on my birthday. I hired out the party area and had around 30 guests. The staff were so friendly and did a great job of accommodating us. The venue was excellent with great atmosphere and some of the guests got to play on the shuffle boards, which they really enjoyed. Thank you to all the staff at the Shuffle House for making my birthday such a great occasion.

My family arranged a gathering for my birthday at The Shuffle House recently. The space was perfect, enhanced by being able to use the Shuffle Boards. The food was amazing and the staff were extremely attentive, nothing was too much for them. They made the experience special and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the Shuffle House or returning myself.

Great food - we had pizza. Service with a smile. Only thing preventing 5 stars for atmosphere was it was quite cold inside. Other than that, highly recommended

We had our daughter's 10th birthday party here, and chose the mixed party menu. The girls' loved it, the food was good quality and perfectly sized portions, and the service was excellent - both before and after the night. Happy to recommend it, we'll definitely host a party there again.

We recently held our Christmas party at The Shuffle House for a group of 27, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the planning stages to the event itself, Jennifer, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and tailored to make everyone happy. On the night, the staff were outstanding—smiling, attentive, and incredibly efficient. Even though the place was buzzing with other customers, we never felt overlooked or had to wait for service. The food was incredible, and everyone in our group raved about how much they enjoyed it. After our delicious meal, we had a blast playing shuffleboard, which added an extra layer of fun to the evening. A huge thank you to Jennifer and the amazing team at The Shuffle House for making us feel like VIPs and for turning our Christmas party into such a memorable and successful event. I would highly recommended The Shuffle House for any special occasion!

We had a fantastic meal in the shuffle house following a game in their fellow mini golf experience (Bogey’s) across the road. We were out celebratory meal for my 9year olds birthday with a group of his friends. As you can imagine, the boys were all very excited and we were met with smiles and well wishes, and made to feel welcome and at ease. The pizzas were delicious (we had margaritas and pepperoni) all freshly baked to order in their pizza oven. We were able to see the chef preparing our pizzas in the open kitchen, a great lesson for us all in the art of pizza making! We even squeezed in a quick game on the shuffle board whilst the pizzas baked!!! We were unsure whether to order the children’s or adults pizza but settled for the children’s one. The pizza was a perfect size for each of the boys, and left space for them to enjoy a scrumptious icecream dessert. We highly recommend this restaurant, we will certainly be returning! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a large group booking of 18 and the Shufflehouse team excelled in all aspects. The food was hot and tasty and the service was excellent. The Shuffle boards were great fun and we all had a brilliant night. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

We appreciate the pizza and tapas are cooked in separate kitchens but a gap of 45mins between tapas and pizza was unacceptable, tasted great but not fun when your guests have already eaten and their plates have been cleared away. The cocktails were amazing btw..

Good for a group, shuffleboard is a fun game anyone can play. Tapas is good for sharing and good selection of pizza too.

Brilliant birthday bash! I hosted my 37th at Shuffle House, with over an hour of shuffling then pizza downstairs. We were really well locked after, such a great atmosphere, and awesome value. Would highly recommend for any special occasion, or just a different night out.

First visit to the Shuffle House and I was hugely impressed - the quality of food was superb, with everything cooked and seasoned perfectly. The spicy seafood rice was delicious, and everything on the mixed grill was excellent. Service was friendly and efficient. If I had to make one suggestion it would be to widen the selection of draught and bottled beer; there may be a specific reason for the range that Shuffle House offer, but the one 4% draught lager available was not good - that is just a suggestion and would have no impact on me recommending the Shuffle House wholeheartedly

Booked a table and the shuffle board for a birthday party. Wasn't told when turning up that we would have to wait over an hour for food when sitting down by an extremely rude waitess! If you like disappointment and rude service, then this is your place.

Have been here a number of times, but pizza was the best yet. the crispier base was incredible and the hawaiian pizza was amazing! The service was spot on too!

The perfect level of attentive service. Food was excellent quality, well presented, piping hot, and served very quickly.

Emma is just incredible! It's our first time here, and we got the warmest welcome. We initially came for drinks, but decided to stay for lunch. Lovely mixed crowd of friends, couples and families. Emma got us a big jug of chilled water, which was much needed! 10/10

Our experience at Shufflehouse in Tunbridge Wells was unfortunately disappointing. We arrived around 4pm without a reservation and asked for a garden seat. Despite the place being sparsely populated, the blonde girl serving us informed us that no garden seats were available. We agreed to sit inside and requested a table upstairs, only to be told once again by the blonde girl that there were no seats available. However, after we looked at her, she decided to speak with a brunette girl who then came to serve us. The brunette girl informed us that we could, in fact, sit upstairs. Upstairs, another blonde girl catered to us and was very sweet, which was a pleasant change. However, the initial unwelcoming attitude and prejudiced service downstairs had already left us feeling uncomfortable. It was clear that they knew they were in the wrong, as no service charge was added to our bill. While the food was decent, the poor service downstairs overshadowed our overall dining experience.

Popped in for a rainy Saturday afternoon dinner with my daughter. It was busy but they found us a 2 seater table. Service was amazing, really attentive and quick. We shared a Margherita pizza which was so fresh and delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough. We'll be back to book a shuffle table!

Went away to Tunbridge Wells for a weekend away and searched this place up and liked the look of the menu so gave it a go, and boy did it not disappoint. We had tapas and a pizza and it was out of this world. The cassava croquettes were a personal favourite. Would highly recommend this place and am even going to come back despite living 2 hours away. Also would like to thank the friendly staff for making the experience that much better.

When we arrived at our table it was quite loud with lots of people shouting from the shuffleboard table. On the ceiling there was a design of flashing lights which we personally did not enjoy. After we ordered our food it took quite a while to arrive. The food and drinks looked and tasted very nice. After we ate our mains we got some dessert- also very nice. In general the food was good but service was slow & it was a bit loud for our liking.

Nice atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. We went for dinner during the week so that it wasn't busy. We ordered 7 tapas dishes and a pizza to share between 4. It all came out when each dish was ready, which is good. They were warm rather than hot as you would expect. Some dishes including the pizza were watery. The pork belly was recommended by a friend and was mainly crispy batter. I'm sure this was an off day for the kitchen. I didn't bring it up with the staff at the time as it was every dish ( I should have done) I walked away thinking, that was a waste of £34. The place looked clean and tidy and the toilets were ok.

We shared an evening at the Shufflehouse with our friends, who celebrated my partner's 50th Birthday, with us, as a birthday present to her. They also joined us at her 50th birthday venue next door (St John's Yard), 3 weeks earlier with family and other friends. What great evenings and our time at the Shufflehouse was really great. It's a great atmosphere, and with good friends, it's much more. The food is really well made. Our "4 type" pizza and tapas dishes were very good. Both the Shufflehouse and St John's Yard are s must visit for locals and anyone visiting Tunbridge Wells. Tip: if you're looking for parking, the roads that lead off across the road are great for free parking.

The Kent Junior Lawyers Division hosted an event at The Shuffle House and it did not disappoint. The Shuffle House catered to a group of 50 people (including people who are vegans and gluten free) and the food did not disappoint. Would highly recommend this venue for a party/event.

The Shuffle House made the leaving party we booked a top event! With the mouth-watering food to the top-notch service and friendly vibes, it was a 10/10 experience. Our Italian co-workers can't stop gushing about the pizza, and the buzz from our fantastic night is still going strong. From the uproarious cheers during shuffleboard victories to the delicious cocktails, we're definitely making this our go-to spot and seriously considering making "regular" status here. Highly recommended for foodies and fun-seekers alike!

Tasty pizza and cocktails, attentive staff. The dips for crusts were not that good, but that is a minimal thing!

We had a lovely evening the service and atmosphere were great, however I specifically came for the reason I am Gluten Free and I was excited to see you had GF mexican tapas options, which I was really looking forward to. To then be told they could not do as everything is put on the same fryer, whilst I really appreciate the honesty of being told this, it was very disappointing for a birthday meal as I didn't come for the pizza. Also being in catering myself, I know it's not difficult to get a small table top fryer and the appropriate chopping board for Gluten free prep.

Where to start? Food was disgusting. Pizza was undercooked in the middle. Service was very poor. I have ordered coffee but didn’t get one. Small wobbly table and flushing lights were very annoying.

A quiet Tuesday afternoon, lovely starter of Argentinian platter. Shuffle board a very pleasant break from the norm...also has a very nice outdoor area for when the weather improves.

I'd like to express my immense gratitude to the entire team at Shuffle House. My engagement party this weekend was fantastic, and everyone was incredible. The food was absolutely amazing, receiving numerous compliments from guests. The bar staff were exceptionally friendly, ensuring the night went seamlessly. What a DREAM place we used the Shufflehouse for our gym social. There was over 30 of us and everyone had a great time. The evening ran like clockwork The food was amazing Amber was so helpful setting everything up. The pizza, tapas and beer is all excellent and it has a great fun atmosphere - perfect for going with our toddler!

Foods always fantastic here and the waiters and waitresses are lovely. Always go back and would recommend.

We had our Christmas Party here and i cannot fault anything. Everyone working was absolutely brilliant, happy and helpful. Everything was set up and organised in advance. The food was amazing as always. We had use of the shuffleboards and a few spaces upstairs, which was perfect for us. Everyone was very complimentary and had the best time. Thank you to everyone that made the evening so much fun!

We booked The Shufflehouse for a family reunion which was a party of 40. We had exclusive use of the upstairs space and had a great time. Food, staff and atmosphere were all excellent, highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed, casual social event with friends and family.

My partner and I have been a couple of times here and have had an amazing time. We decided to host our engagement party last weekend and we could not fault the service and assistance we received throughout the booking process and the day. All of guests absolutely loved the venue and I would truly recommend booking this venue for a party! Thank you to the Shufflehouse team for making our celebration truly special.

As an Italian I have to admit the pizza is quite good, the service is a bit messy but overall pretty good

I booked a table for 4 online for 6:30pm - Friday, somehow the booking did not go through. The staff were incredibly unhelpful - there were many empty tables with 1hr after being booked by anyone. I was told that I couldn't occupy any of the tables that 1hr was not sufficient to eat a pizza (childs menu) - table was for 4 12 year olds! And that I couldn't even order a take away! I gently pleaded a few times as I promised my son. I was rudely told to leave the premises. Sadly, I am not going to set foot in your restaurant. St Johns next door were really lovely and accommodating. You would think Shuffle House would want to run a full & buzzying restaurant. Disgusting.

We had pizza tonight and absolutely loved it. I had the Meat Sweats (AKA pepperoni) and the wife had the Vegetariana and both were gorgeous. We definitely be going again and will be trying the Tapas.😋😋😋🤤🤤🤤

Ordered 3 pizzas, waited almost an hour, we received 1 pizza 2 minutes later second one and 5 minutes later we received 3rd one (completely burnt) we sent it back as the rest of the food was cold now and last pizza burnt. Manager came back and brought the cold pizzas trying to convince us to have it anyways because the were “fine”. Just got fed up, so we paid for our drinks and left, very unsatisfied and starving, went across the road to have something else. 👍🏻

Six of us visited least night. We ordered the whole tapas menu apart from the meat platter and it was awesome. Super tasty and just the right amount of food for us. We will definitely be coming back.

We visited last night and had the Latin Tapas, all the dishes were brought out as soon as they were ready and piping hot! All delicious!! The restaurant itself was fun and modern. They had shuffleboards to play on upstairs. Music playing (not too loud), lovely staff. Well worth a visit.

Wasn't particularly busy so atmosphere wasn't the greatest but music was good and shuffle board was great. Food was lovely, thought the dough balls were great value for money. Pizza base slightly floppy but still tasty.

Probably up there as one of my favourite places to eat in Tunbridge Wells. The tapas is amazing, especially the crispy duck! Must try the pizza next time as it always looks so good!

Exceptional Latin influenced tapas (can’t comment on pizza or cocktails this time). The plantain was a highlight. My dinner date is Colombian and he highly rated our meal also. Attentive but not intrusive service. Buzzy but intimate atmosphere. Loved it.

Following a hiccup with our table Amber took control and sorted everything out. We waited a few minutes for a suitable table to become available (my wife is disabled) and once we did move, the evening was exceptionally enjoyable. Amber looked after us exceptionally well all evening. The food, wine and beer was excellent and the service outstanding. Thank you to Amber and the Shufflehouse team it was a really enjoyable evening.

This is a real gem in Tunbridge Wells. Simply one of the best places to have tapas and pizza meals. Very kid friendly as well. Highly recommend this superb restaurant

After booking over a month ago I received a call today to say we had been double booked with a Christmas party so had to be cancelled. I booked this for me and my other half for NYE in which i had paid for a hotel near by which is none refundable at this point. No one offered me any consolation what do ever basically just told me they’re sorry but they’ve cancelled my booking. Looking at the other reviews this isn’t an isolated incident such a shame has scope to be a great venue but clearly organisation isn’t their strong point

We had a Christmas do here. We had tables booked for 2 hours and then the shuffle boards booked for two hours. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our party arrived in dribs and drabs many much later than planned. The staff did not blink an eye and were so accommodating. Food was whipped up in minutes and everyone said how tasty it was. The shuffle boards are a wonderful distraction, some people just chatted and some played. Simple to learn, great team game and simple fun. Everyone who came had a fabulous night and I'd definitely recommend the shuffle house for a staff party or a night out with friends. Thank you +++
