We ordered a take away in the restaurant and they promptly cooked the nice meal and generous to give some extra bonus as well. Very friendly and professional ! Fully recommend - Great menu simple to read and understand with many choices !

Found this place on Google and had good reviews so thought why not! So glad that we went, the food is absolutely incredible and so fresh, there is a huge variety of food options, so something for everyone and they do not lack on flavour!! Easily one of the best all you can eat style dinners I've had and I am a huge foodie!!! The staff were amazing and huge shout out to Tani for being so amazing and attentive. I really recommend this place.

Recently visited this restaurant. My partner and I tried the "all you can eat" menu, which is freshly made (not buffet). All the food was incredibly flavourful and fresh. It's great value for money and lets you try such a variety of dishes. The "must try" is the smoked chicken, don't be fooled by its appearance, it was really out of this world. We look forward to coming back.

Lovely food and good value for money. £25 per head for "All You Can Eat" dinner. The AYCE menu has a great variety of choices. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at the Golden Palace. Next time we come back to Seaford, we must eat again at the Golden Palace. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a lovely evening the service was outstanding and the food was lovely the atmosphere was great everyone was chatty and talking about the food and service We lived nearby about 10yrs ago before our move to Australia today we decided to take a chance and order our memories and this restaurant did not disappoint worth the visit we will definitely be back before we fly home

Take away which was average at best albeit plenty of it. Singapore noodles were okay, Chicken fried rice was fine, Schezuhan Chicken gloopy, tasteless and didn't smell very apertizing at all, crispy chilli beef was tough and tasteless. Yuch!! We've been here before a couple of years ago and it was significantly better. Not for us anymore this place.

They have a £25 all-you-can-eat menu during the week, but we got there quite late and, a nice touch from the guy running the place, were advised to save money and eat a la carte because we wouldn't have time to benefit from the all-you-can-eat deal. He was right, and the crispy duck, lemon chicken, Szechuan pork and beansprouts we ordered were all very good. Nice atmosphere - everyone appeared to be having a good time.

Lovely service - food was uneven… both good and not so good. The salt and pepper squid was awesome - the starter was huge and a main by itself. But the Szechuan pork was sweet and not spicy at all. However, we’d definitely give these folks another try - I loved how friendly they were! :)

Tip top, only little complaint would be the Thai red curry wasn’t the best, however absolutely everything else was spot on, and great value for money. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Thought we’d give this a try. Was advised delivery would be 50 minutes which was fine, but it arrived within half an hour! Food was steaming hot, never had a takeaway like it! Portions were huge and the food was good too 👍🏻

Visited mid week and had a sit down meal sitting in the window...food cooked to order fresh and tasty...we felt relaxed service with a smile ....well worth the money and a good opportunity to try different dishes which are generous portions...we also enjoyed the wine to wash it down....we look forward to return.

We found this place on a trip to seaford in 2022 , and when we visit seaford we always have a takeaway here , it's the best Chinese we have had in our travels around the UK..

All good, lovely being treated to an 'all you can eat' (£25) midweek experience. I can't remember all the different types of food, but most of it was very nice, the standout for me was the crispy duck and the Pad Thai noodles, we were all pretty disappointed in the chicken, it was tough and chewy (in skewers, in wine leaves), that was the only downer. Staff (one man and his little boy) was very nice and helpful. As it was on a Wednesday, it wasn't that busy and there was no trouble with delays in service, food was deffo hot. Recommend.

Fabulous!! I haven't been here for a long time for various reasons so was really excited when my visiting daughter wanted a Chinese. It was amazing, food was so flavoursome and the host is such a nice person. Excellent value all you can eat option for! £24. I can't wait to return with my partner.

The Golden Palace, never disappoints, it is very welcoming, the staff are always so friendly and helpful. We tend to go for friends birthdays through the year and usually have their buffet menu, which is always very good with an excellent choice of dishes. Although it is relatively small inside, we never feel rushed or that we need to finish our meals quickly. Definitely recommended.

Food was slimly toxic waste crispy chilli beef was just batter even the rice was sub par even for a Chinese takeaway I could only eat the greasy chicken balls I will not return.

So speedy, fairly priced and delicious! Second time ordering now, will definitely have this place as my go to! Highly recommend the crispy chilli beef, sweet and sour pork, Singapore noodles, salt and pepper squid and crispy seaweed.

Decided to go for a random restaurant in seaford that we've never visited before and came across the Golden Palace. Food was excellent, service was fantastic and the owner was alone taking orders, clearing tables, serving food, seating people and most likely helping in the kitchen too! Yet managed to be professional, friendly and welcoming the entire time. Cannot fault this restaurant in the slightest and will 100% be visiting again in the future.

Amazing staff lovely food great in general

We travel a long way to eat here as it is always excellent and staff really nice and helpful. We have never had a bad dish or a long wait between courses. Throughly recomend

The Golden Palace was a gem to find. We were in the area before a ferry crossing & found them on Google. They were very accommodating staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough for us. But the food is what it is all about; It was Fresh, well presented and tasted great. The price was great to. Thank you

Went here tonight, party of 5. couple of tables already occupied so wasn't busy, we were seated straight away after a couple of minutes of sitting down the gent behind the counter came to take our order but realised he hadn't given us any menus which he went back to get, after 10 mins he strolls back takes the drinks order 2 ciders, 2 cokes and an apple juice the 2 ciders came pretty much straight away then 5 mins later the rest of the drinks he then goes on to take the food order for the table so we ordered 6 starters after 15 mins a couple of the starters arrived hot and tasty but was still missing a couple they eventually arrived. Ordered a couple more starters as we had finished the first order, ordered another round of drinks after 30 mins the order we had placed still hadn't arrived, when asking the gent behind the counter who was taking food orders from tables, takeaway orders, bring food and drink to the table and even chopping food out the back. My wife asked how much longer would our food be only to be told the kitchen is extremely busy but won't be long, the food arrived which wasn't hot so we decided to leave. Very poor service too busy doing the takeaway orders as more food went out the door than went to tables, we wasn't the only ones to be complaining about food orders taking ages. They ever need more cooks or taken less phone orders, I understand times have been hard but they are trying to do too much, they missed out on £200 tonight all because they focused on the phone orders rather than those seated.

I would eat here again. Lots of takeaways are full of cheap nuclear seeming ingredients. This was nice. The ingredients were average but tasty. The staff were friendly. It's a lovely clean and pleasant restaurant takeaway tucked away. It's very hard to get a top quality fresh ingredients eatery unless you go top money and then it's so fancy it's not the food you really want to tuck into. This has all the dishes you want so great choice.

Great food come early stay late

Took my partner on a well over due night out. The service was incredible, the food was excellent and on a whole the lay out and interior made you feel comfortable. Prices were reasonable considering the current economic climate. I recommend strongly for birthdays/family reuinions and cheeky first dates ;) 10/10

Great food but took an hour to be served our 1st dish.

Amazing service, the staff were extremely friendly and super efficient. The food was plentiful with a good variety and arrived on time piping hot as it should be. The whole atmosphere and vibe was lovely and relaxing, I can't understand why it wasn't packed out and would urge anyone looking to have a nice meal to visit the Golden Palace. The whole experience and friendliness of the staff made our anniversary meal into a lovely evening.

Just started using after years in Seaford and it is now our go to takeaway. Consistently good.

The best Chinese take-away we've had since I can remember. The items we chose were all cooked well, looked appetizing and above all was tasty! There was plenty to go around, the set menus were very generous. Wish I could visit Seaford again as I rather fancy kung Po chicken now, but it's too far 😟

Great and lovely place. We visited with our friends after a whole day walking trip. The owner is very friendly, willing and kind. Prices are cheap, and You can get delicious and well prepared food. Cheers for the chefs!

Takeaway this evening - other Chineses in town seem to close Tuesday. Couldn't find a menu on line, photo attached. Decent food at reasonable prices. Crispy duck, 2 mains and rice £19.50, enough for lunch tomorrow too. Duck succulent, Chow Mein tasty, Kung Pow a bit sweet for me, egg rice not that eggy. Menu has other stuff to try including Thai dishes and intriguing 'curry puff'. I'll be back.

I have ordered from here a few times and it is a little bit hit and miss, but tonight’s takeaway was simply awful. The duck was so chewy and stiff, that it was inedible. The prawns were almost inflated like they had been pumped with water and completely tasteless. The chicken balls were dripping in grease. It was just an all round terrible meal which is really such a shame. I tried to call to speak with someone about it but could not get through so thought I’d send an email or message on fb, so the restaurant were able to respond. They don’t have this option on their Facebook (wonder why!) and they don’t have an email. Won’t order from here again especially as it is more expensive than the other local takeaways, this one is a bit further afield so I also paid £3 delivery charge but wishing I didn’t now.

Amazing service and delicious food

It is a small restaurant but they have managed to socially distance. Our meal was tasty and quickly delivered to the table. It is unfortunate that if you are in a group of four every dish ordered comes for four even if three people do not want that dish. You don't pay extra but it seems a waste of food.

My daughters , there partners , my wife and I went to the golden palace on 24th October 2020. The food was really good and the staff were great . The food took a while to come out but it was worth the wait not only was it tasty it was freshly cooked and piping hot. The spicy squid was excellent and the crispy duck was out of this world . Keep it up golden palace and see you again soon .

We are 'picky' (as in expecting good quality, good tasting food) new residents of Seaford. Reading the reviews online, thought we would give this place a chance - and I am so glad we did! Amazing food. Yes, it took ages to get through on the telephone, which I suppose is a good thing, as you know they are busy. Yes, it took ages to be delivered, but in all fairness, we were advised on the telephone that it would be an hour, and it took the hour and when delivered, I couldn't believe just how polite the delivery driver was! Even gave us a complimentary bottle of beer - cheers! The food was stunning, absolutely beautiful. Fresh, tasty and hot. The crispy aromatic duck was literally the best we have ever had, only grumble - loads of meat and not enough pancakes. The tempura prawns were new for us and we could not get enough of the food. Brilliant size portions and some left over. Usually when we get takeaway (not very often), we dread that awful feeling of the day after, the gross taste in your mouth (chemical) and cannot drink enough water - there was none of that with this food - we just can't wait to order again. If I were you, I would go, go, go!!!!

Golden Palace: upmarket Chinese restaurant in Seaford. I enjoyed a chow mein

Not many restaurants are open as yet, despite the easing of lockdown. After looking for a place to eat, we stumbled across the Golden Palace. Most Chinese restaurants outside Chinatown and communities rarely cater for Chinese people. But needs must and it proves to be a good choice. The food is actually pretty good, well cooked and good flavour. Especially the noodles, with the spice, heat and good wok technique. The food was modest and enjoyable. The staff seem nice. As a chinese person writing this review. It should count for something. We've tried many other similar establishments and I would not recommend them. Seaford is lucky to have the Golden Palace. If you've never been, you should try.
