have recently discovered this place when my family moved nearby delightful food the staff are some of the kindest people we have ever met definitely recommend

A very, very delicious restaurant. I recommend visiting it after visiting the lavender farm. It has a variety of dishes, including kebab, burgers, and fish. All of its food is halal. The owners of the restaurant are a very friendly, cooperative, and respectful family.

Yet again let down on delivery!! It stated on the app the food had been delivered? It hadn’t! The guy on the phone said it was not their responsibility ?? And would not refund or offer another order!! This is the second time ! NEVER AGAIN!! They really can’t afford bad publicity 🤔 it’s really gone down hill anyway just happens to be local 😂😂 that’s a joke

Food is not good. Chips were soggy and greasy, saveloy was tasteless. 👎 Won't be going back. Oh and really expensive

The burgers, fish and chips, and kebabs are tasty and beautifully cooked, the staff are all friendly and polite, and the shop is scrupulously clean. You won't find a better Saturday night (or any night) takeaway!

Very Rude and careless level of service. The person working on the till got my order wrong twice. I have alergies and was very clear in what I wanted. I asked for no salt and vinegar on the chips and both were on the chips I was about to be given. Then the burgers in which I was specific I wanted the chicken grill burger, I came home and realised they had my order wrong again. I called them to tell them expected them to apologise for their mistake. Rather then that they started blaming me. Then while I was on my way back (10-15 mins drive) I received a call again saying bring the other burgers (Making me feel as I would have eaten them!!!). I had the burgers with me as I have medical conditions and could not have them but felt very insulted as they rather then being apologetic treated me as a cheat. When I got to the shop they were very rude, refused to apologise, stright away asked for the burgers and then said it was my mistake. There was no concern that so much inconvineince had been caused to me. I was told take the burgers and stop wasting our time. When I said lets speak about the matter they said they are busy and dont have time to waste with me. This is their customer service and care. I started feeling unwell and sat in their shop as was feeling difficulty breathing. They did not give 2 cents and ignored my breathing issue. I then asked for some water which they charged me a pound for. So I will say they need to learn some empathy, give attention to orders and learn to apologise when they get it wrong as it causes others inconvinience, can result in health scares + emergencies. Very shameful and rude behaviour to say the least.

I had to wait 20 minutes for a bag of chips, then when I went to the front to finally get the order, they tried to charge me again! I then asked for a mayo and instead of maybe giving me it for free since I’d had to wait for so long and they evidently forgot my order, he still charged me and didn’t even apologise. Shame the service is so bad because the food is good but I won’t be going back.

Stopped off for the first time yesterday on my way to Banstead to pick up some fish and chips, although there was a wide range of meals on offer. Great service, good sized portions and fish was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back!

The restaurant has recently been taken over by a new management, a family. The young man who served me was so polite and sweet. He was attentive and responsive, he was friendly and thanked me for my purchase. My daughter and I decided to eat in. He brought our food over to us and asked if we needed anything else. The restaurant was spotless. We a simple meal of sausage in batter and large chips that we shared. The chips were hot and fresh and the best we have EVER had! The sausage was delicious. We will back to order a fish meal next time. Highly recommended.

Really silly that they've put their minium delivery up to £15. Used to order at least once a week as I work late and often don't want to cook but I won't be spending £15 on food just for myself. It's a shame but I'll be finding a new place to order from now.

Absolutely awful. Avoid at all costs Waited 2 hours for a delivery, called 3 times and was told ‘it’s with a driver 10 more minutes’ every-time we called. Family take away night ruined by this shop who have done nothing but lie all evening and only offer a bottle of water as compensation

We were visiting from the States and the fish and chip place we normally visited was closed on Monday. Very glad it was. This place was wonderful. Besides the fish and chips being excellent, service was wonderful and the place was clean enough that the “five second rule” might apply if it fell on the floor. Looking forward to my next visit to try their chicken sandwiches. Two diners were eating them while I was waiting for my take out.

What a place I normally get the chicken fillet sandwich with cheese it’s unreal everytime. An awesome place and staff never had a problem with an order and always satisfied defo one of the best chippys around the area

Rather than go to our usual Fish and Chips place, decided to read reviews for other local ones. Was impressed by the reviews for this one so gave it a go. Despite being Friday evening, the service was very efficient. As for the fish and chips, all our guests agreed these were excellent. Well done!

Tried here for the 1st time on Friday and have to say I was very impressed with the cooking of the fish and how no oil was evident and would highly recommended here as the staff weee all very friendly and deffo would travel again to use again 5 ⭐️

This is honestly the best fish and chips I have ever had! The fish was incredibly succulent and melts in your mouth. Very light also which makes it even better! The owners have definitely exceeded my expectations they are so nice and welcoming. Would recommend to everyone and anyone!

Just tried Woodmansterne Fish and Grill for the first time and they didn’t disappoint. Food was delicious, especially the cod and chips! The service was also excellent. Food was made to order but it was very quick and the guys we’re all great. Would highly recommend to anyone. Popped in at lunchtime, had freshly cooked large cod, (2 medium pieces given) with normal portion chips. Really very good quality and plenty to eat. Since the new management and the introduction of home delivery, we have had fish and chips delivered on two occasions, both times food still very hot and very tasty, lovely fish and plenty of chips (too much if I'm being honest). Will definitely have again.

I recently visited Woodmansterne Fish & Grill for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The fish couldn't have been better, I enjoyed every bite and I was totally delighted the choices of large Haddock. The menu was excellent, the kebab options very tempting. Also I loved the interior design, not only is it beautiful but feels modern and fresh. The staff were delightful, they helped to make the experience extra special. As far as I have been told that they are the new owners. He is well reputed and cultured gentleman. I highly recommend and can't wait to have tasty fish.

The food is absolutley amazing.The kebabs and chips were fresh and not greasy at all. We ordered an order for delivery and it was very quick, and the delivery driver was very freindly. We we definitley be using again.

The fish is lovely and crispy. Now drained from oil so making it lovely. Also excellent chips. Takes a while but worth it. We phone ahead. Had large cod and chips delivered from the Woodmans fish and grill. Massive fish. Cooked perfectly
