The best restaurants in South East

Lovely location and a four star experience. Predominantly a wedding and events venue it is still a lovely spot and has gorgeous grounds and views. Impressively hi-tech communications worthy of a mention too.

The place is cosy and was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff were extremely attentive and the food was delicious and served promptly. One of the nicest pubs in the area.

Everything! I f**ing looove this place. Just had a mojito, best mojito in the world. Boom. Amyway, I came before and food is always excellent!

Lovely place to grab brunch, a sweet treat or just a coffee. Great to see that they’ve extended the main restaurant by way of a conservatory meaning more of us can be seated at once! The decor is beautiful, the food is fresh and top quality and the coffee is really good too. The service from the lady with the red lipstick (sorry, I didn’t get a name!) was lovely. She kindly split the pink lemonade into two glasses for my kids and even asked for it to be made on the sweeter side so that it wasn’t too sour for them, all without me even having to ask. Unfortunately we didn’t book far enough in advance for the afternoon tea because I do really enjoy that and all the unique finger foods it offers! Must remember to do so 24 hours in advance next time.

If you are prepared to wait over an hour from ordering to getting your food then you may enjoy it! Understaffed, staff doing their best but ruined an evening

This pub has everything. A great range of ales and beers, extensive bar food menu and friendly and professional staff. The chilli nachos were perfect. It’s all set in a historic pub with real fires etc. Just perfect. Feel envious of folk who have this place as their local…

Really fantastic authentic Thai food, Friendly knowledgeable staff with good recommendations around choices. We had huge bowl fulls of delicious freshly cooked food, served up within 10 mins of ordering. We ate in, which was a convenient choice at the time, and chatted with the staff. Great local business deserving of local support, with genuinely superb food! 5*!!

Sunday lunch. Busy, bustling pub with limited food options (various roast or fish and chips) which was OK. Average. Wouldn’t rush back.

Brilliant food fantastic service the best tapas ever and I’ve tried a few. Never had any disappointing meal there. Would highly recommend
