The food was just warm I asked for a cheese naan and got plain. Very poor

Chips wasn’t as described at all, was the masala chips, they were just covered in sweet chilli and undercooked

Delivered late, not for the first time. Fat Raj’s is massively hit and miss nowadays and sadly more miss than hit. Will be ordering elsewhere from now on.

Very good as always but it is about the fourth time that the order has been wrong in a row (usually chilli chips sent instead of chilli cheese naan bizarrely!). It was still nice though.

First time trying this place! It was full of flavour and the spice was amazing. I had lamb jalfrezi and the meat was perfect. Not fatty at all. Definitely ordering from here again.

Arrived early, generous portions, super tasty! Just forgot the can of Lemon Fanta!

Placed a order via Uber for home delivery and was given a estimate of 50/70 minutes after 90 minutes called up to be told they are really busy and it’s on the list they are really busy and lots of orders keep coming in . Seriously if your that busy change your prep times or stop taking orders this is a sure fire way to lose customers we cancelled our order and will not be using again.

Order was wrong. replaced the wrong item but the rest of the order was cold once received. Poor. Won’t bother again.

Thought I’d give somewhere new a chance and really enjoyed the meal. Will probably use again.

Ordered a meal for collection. It was ready in 20 mins which was very quick, food was warm when I returned home. The food was OK in parts but certainly could have been a lot better. The curry was very oily and as they had diced the chicken up it was clear there wasn't very much in the portion. The rice was very good but the bhaji was not pleasant. One of two things had happened, they had been cooked earlier and reheated so were soggy, tough on the edges and again oily or they had been totally cremated in the fryer. Either way it wasn't good enough for the price point on a seemingly quiet night. Personally, I won't use it again if I can avoid it. May give it another go later down the line incase it was an off night based on other reviews but I would say the food was below average.

Had a problem with a delivery near closing but they resolved it quickly. Good customer service and good food

Ordered for delivery via Uber Eats. The Butter chicken and Korma were amazing. The garlic naan was great too! I left a special request on my order and this was seen and provided for us :) The delivery driver was lovely and polite and food arrived promptly.

Overdone onion bahjis, no flavour samosas, lamb in Bhuna was nice, but no flavour in sauce, chicken tikka flavoursome, chicken tikka balti 6.5. Was really looking forward to this Indian, but sadly disappointed.

Raj nicest shami kebab yet flavours outstanding lamb was melt in your mouth but what let it all down was chips ( been nearly a year since I stopped ordering them of you ) they where under cooked, warm and very soggy disappointing considering price

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND GREAT FOOD.

Just started using this new Indian and tonight was a bit disappointed. Lamb madras had 6 bits of small chewy lamb in it. Not great at all. The sauce was nice and good naan but meat was quite poor.

First class food and excellent delivery guy as always! Mr Raj give him a good xmas bonus! :D

Forgot about mint sauce but food was really good.. saag paneer could have a paneer cubes not be grated but still nice in taste

King prawn saag was a delight! Super fresh prawns, perfectly cooked. Coconut pilaf made an excellent accompaniment. Quick delivery and still hot!

First time of using the Fat Raj in Sandgate ... delivery was on time and the food arrived hot and well packaged. Food was OK ... flavours were a little bland and not a lot of meat when compared to other takeaways ... overall it was satisfactory.

If you are going to be busy, dont expect your rushed delivery drivers to cover all that work, ESPECIALLY when you charge extra for delivery. PAY FOR EXTRA DRIVERS. Our food was stone cold by the time it reached us. Second time now in as many orders.

Third time I’ve ordered (forgot about the first time). Cancelled the first time because it was so late, second time it was 30 mins late today it was nearly an hour late. Food is good but not an hour late good.

Ordered food from here through just eat. The menu has a great variety of options at a reasonable price. The food arrived quickly (despite it being a Saturday night) and was very fresh and hot and it all tasted fantastic. Love this place

Delicious food, arrived piping hot despite delivery driver running late. Restaurant kindly credited us for late delivery and driver was also very polite and apologetic - it was a Saturday evening so we completely understood. All in all very pleased and will definitely be ordering again!

Best curry I’ve had, the egg fried rice was unbelievable never had anything like it! The lamb tikka masala was stunning meat was perfect, reasonable prices! Will definitely be back and recommend to family and friends!
