The best restaurants in South East

Had a lovely cream tea, lovely and cozy with a lovely warm fire in the winter. Lovely fresh scones with cream and jam. Staff were very attentive and polite. We left headphones in the restaurant and one of the staff kindly found us while we were driving away to return it.

Over 1 hour and 30 minutes and food still hasn’t arrived. I’ve called the shop twice and each time they keep telling me my food is on its way. Very poor service will never order from them again

Very affordable clean room ideal for an overnight stay, you check in another hotel two doors down. Tea, Coffee and Water provided, shower and sink in room, toilet just down the corridor. Check in simple and staff polite, if you have mobility issues the stairs will be an issue, typically for a room in a pub some noise until midnight. Would recommend and would return.

It was an hour and 45 minutes late.

Over an hour to deliver. Phoned the shop after 45 minutes,was told 10 minutes. Half an hour later, was told another 10 minutes.. The pizza arrived cold, greasy, lacking toppings and base sauce. The shop doesn't care and nor do the helpline. Don't waste your time, effort or money. Never again

After a 3 year long quest to find the perfect country pub roast, we finally have a winner. The beef was cooked perfectly, with lots of flavour and the vegetables were fresh and nutrient dense. Nate? served us and he was a ray of sunshine, nothing was too much and we felt very welcome. We look forward to returning soon.

5 stars all around. Lovely Food, nice setting & the evening was topped off a treat by the very polite and professional Kelly. Couldn't do enough for me and my mum especially with all her Greene King Question's being a fellow Greene King Employee herself. She even gave her a Map of all the Greene King Pubs / Hotels around the UK. Nothing nicer than service with a smile. Thank you.
