Another nice Pizza Express. Used this one for almost 30yrs on and off. Never been disappointed.

Didnt expect to wait an hour for luke warm food. Stay away

Went last minute with the family and the service was excellent, the staff really made an effort with the kids which went down really well, highly recommend A++

Although Ive been a regular Pizza Express customer for many years, it was our first time visiting the Farnham branch and we really enjoyed our experience. From the friendly staff at the front of house who welcomed us in and seated us, to the great waiter that served us throughout our visit. He provided genuine, happy and polite customer service, interacting with the kids and generally bringing a fun atmosphere. The food as always was of a high standard and exactly what we would expect from pizza express. There is a nice atmosphere & ambience in the restaurant and we will definitely be back soon! Thanks for a great New Years Eve experience

Very slow.....waited an hour for pizza to arrive...

Cannot recommend this place enough, the staff here are so lovely! I've been here so many times, and the staff are always kind and helpful. The food is perfect aswell, the takeaways are just as good as eating in 🍕

The atmosphere in the restaurant was amazing... you can feel like you are in a family place... my daughter fell in love with this place and these people over ... The food was also very tasty... congratulations to the team for such a high standard 😉💪

Ordered a delivery from pizza express Farnham at lunchtime. When we reached the hour mark we contacted online support to find out what was going on, the Uber driver had been waiting at the restaurant 30 minutes. We rang the restaurant, only to be told by an Italian male on the phone that they are understaffed, busy, and the restaurant takes priority over our order. He concluded the call with 'it will be with you when it's with you'. When we got our delivery 90 mins after placing the order on a Monday lunchtime, our 'thin and crispy' romana pizza was soggy and more like the classic base. Not even worth the wait. Won't bother again!

Table for 5 for a birthday meal Put in a room upstairs away from the main restaurant which was very cold, must have forgotten we were there as 45 minutes between courses seemed a bit excessive so not an overly enjoyable experience. Been before and thoroughly enjoyed it, staff are nice

Staff really rude white clean shave guy doesn't speak well English and serving really rude staff need training be police and humble with customers at least .I think white clean shave guy was incharge at time when I visited .never recommend this place

I love this restaurant,its always so beautifully laid out,looks brilliant and smells even better! 😍 the food was fantastic, tried a few new items as well as the classics,all delicious, the staff were so friendly and helpful as we had an allergy. Highly recommend

Absolutely disgusting customer service! My friends and I went in to the Farnham Pizza Express today. We were a quite large group (6 adults and 3 kids) and hadn’t booked but we just thought we would enquire. The man on the front desk was awful to us right from the beginning, even though we were just asking, saying things like ‘God, good planning guys’ in an awful sarcastic voice, doing a big thumbs up sign and rolling his eyes. It was completely unnecessary, especially as the place was basically empty. It was like he was shaming us but our plans had changed as it was pouring outside. All he had to say was, sorry we don’t have space. He started trying to find us a table but was making a huge thing of it, and complaining to other staff members so we just left disgusted. It really ruined our day and we would never go back to this place. Avoid!

Stick to Pizza, anything else we tried that was cooked was way below expectation. Melanzane was dreadful, no comparison to other restaurants and only if you like red onions on everything, order the bruschetta and garlic prawns…both extraordinarily awful and lacking any culinary skill.

It's a Pizza Express - nothing amazing but you can enjoy your meal & time with friends with ease.

I have fond memories of this place but it’s a sorry state now. The service is very slow/poor and repeatedly has words like “perfect”… I’m not wanting to bring anyone down however this place needs a total overhaul. The starter was awful, I’ll not be back. Very disappointing.

Lovely food as always. It's a bit loud in there and we were placed in a very big room with the kitchen so it was quite echoey and noisy. I recommend for a lunch, or an adverage dinner. But if you want something more intimate go somewhere else. Also I went in with someone else and we were placed on a table for 6?! Bit odd

Very average with over-average pricing. Restaurant wasn't busy yet the service was slow and inattentive. Pizzas lacklustre and quite expensive - desserts too.

Food is improved over the last few months. Staff friendly and helpful. The price for 2 adults and 2 children was nearly £100.00. It is really expensive and not worth it for 4 ordinary pizzas and apple juice. At 7.95 for ice cream and chocolate Brownie the whole experience was daylight robbery.

We booked a table for eight pm on the Saturday of Farnham carnival and arrived five minutes early. We had a pleasant welcome and were sat down promptly. We ordered our drinks and food after ten minutes and received the drinks after a few minutes. The restaurant was busy due to the carnival and as we were sat near the door we noticed a number of walk ins were being turned away due to the number of customers in the restaurant. There were at least ten tables free when I took a visit to the conveniences so I wonder why the customers were being turned away. The restaurant does cater for pizza for collection and they were still carrying out this service. Our food took nearly forty minutes to come out and when my pizza arrived a hot spicy guseppi it did not match up to the one I'd received from the pizza express in gunwharf keys ,where both the food and service was excellent. We as a family were very disappointed with the experience and felt the staff didn't really want to be there and sooner be at home. We frequently visit pizza express as all the family enjoy eating out and pizza is our favourite food. Unfortunately on this occasion this Farnham restaurant failed to meet our expectations.

Ordered from Deliveroo from your branch. Not sure if you left the other half of the dough in the oven but these Doughballs are the size of my fingernail!

Great food & service Bit warm early on before the Air-con came on

A disappointing visit to Pizza Express. It started with choosing a table at the back by the open sliding doors. It wasn't great as people decided to come on this way and expect you to move your chair to let them through. So, moved table only to be told by a server that it was booked even though no sign of a reservation on it. The server had a bit of an attitude which I didn't appreciate. So, moved table again. We had a different server this time and she took our order for starters and drinks and all started well..... Then my wife's salad turned up, all good....then my Pizza turned up, I thought, but it wasn't so had to send it back. Then when the "correct" pizza turned up I had to complain. If you order a Burnt ends Pizza you'd at least expect to be able to do some meat, nope, this as the server stated was mixed into the BBQ sauce! I'd didn't have a microscope to look. I was asked at this point if I'd like to order another pizza. Having wasted so much time I declined and ate what had been presented. All I can say is that it was OK, but could've been a Vegetarian version to be honest. At the end of the Meal I spoke to the Manager to explain my disappointment with not only the Pizza but the visit. He was very apologetic and removed my Pizza from the bill. Pizza Express should be embarrassed about selling this alleged BBQ burnt ends pizza. I would not consider a revisit to any Pizza Express based on this visit.

Great tasting pizza and friendly welcome on a quiet weekday evening

Very nice Pizza at Pizza Express. I had a calzone, which stayed hotter than most pizzas, which was a plus. Tasted very nice.

Visited this evening with 2 of my friends and ordered 2 pizzas and one pasta. The two pizzas base were burnt to crisp and the pasta tubes were hard and undercooked!

Me & my partner ordered of Just Eat & waited over an hour for it to arrive! We called the restaurant & explained the situation & the guy on the phone was very apologetic & gave us a contact number to call & seemed very eager to help us sort out the situation. Me & my partner reported it & a couple minutes later received a call from Pizza Express (the same guy) & he was so lovely! Told us he would send another one for free & apologised again! Such a lovely, kind deed to do. We both really appreciated it, unfortunately, we didn’t get his name but we just wanted to say how grateful we were for this service! Definitely went above & behond!

Toilets pretty grim - gents was smelly and had a broken sink, which another customer mentioned had been broken for weeks.. Not sure the staff should be vaping over the food in the kitchen, either... Can't recommend.

I know it’s a Saturday night, but I ordered 1 pizza at 19:30 and it arrived at 21:28. And it was cold. They could have messaged, or refused the order.

Excellent service, and the food was amazing, great all round at the Farnham restaurant.

Very poor service. Prioritising deliver orders over customers sitting in the restaurant. Customers complaining about undercooked food and having to wait ages. Probably the worst Pizza Express that I've visited which is a shame as it's a nice venue in a great location but very poorly run.

Best pizza You can get in Farnham, great guest service, lovely ambience!

Racist, we came in and the restaurant was empty on a Sunday night. We were told that it was fully booked 10 minutes from when we walked in. If you have coloured skin don't expect a warm welcome at this branch. Shocking really. Asked a few friends who confirmed they experienced the same.

Poor quality, no chicken in pollo pesto and less than have the usual dish. Very oily and poor quality.

Came here by myself whilst waiting for my friend to finish work. Really fast service and the staff were so nice. Rahul was so sweet and the food was really good. I always find it weird eating alone in public but genuinely the staff made me feel so welcome. Would 100% eat here again. 10/10

The new Fungi di Bosco is lovely. Service was superb.

First visit for a surprise party for a friend and was so impressed with the staff, the service, the food and the restaurant itself. The kitchen is open to view and very noisy, but is great to watch the team at work with a busy service for customers eating in and takeaway. Garlic bread and mozzarella to start, La Reine pizza classic base for main and 2 Sprite came to £28, and the food was piping hot and delicious. Toilets are very clean and have step to access. Restaurant is lovely, nice atmosphere, would highly recommend.

Went out for a family meal. Pizza express usually can’t go wrong with a 5 year old. Service was shocking, waitress didn’t listen to anything we said, kids meal came out 10mins after ours, the presentation of salads was not the same of any other pizza express I have been to & half the ingredients were missing. Couldn’t wait to get out of there. Definitely a place to avoid when visiting Farnham.

Nice place to eat for not too much money. They have really good pizza's and the atmosphere is cozy.

If I could rate zero I would. People with allergies or Coeliac Disease be very careful!!!! That is all I am going to say about the matter. I have already contacted complaints. I received a reply to say they have received the email and documents. I complained 14th August 2022 and still no further forward 17th Oct 2022.

Great food, and the service is fantastic!

Pizzas were burnt in the oven, so we had to wait whilst they were remade, nice thing was we didn't have to ask, they weren't prepared to serve us burnt pizzas, still slightly annoying that we then had quite a wait for our food.

First time ordering through deliveroo. Order received on time, however mostly inedible! 2 pizza wraps which were raw dough, completely uncooked and dough balls that were burnt and some so small it was ridiculous! An item from the order was also missing from the delivery. Tried to contact Pizza Express Farnham directly to rectify the problem and after about an hour of trying finally spoke to someone. Who couldn’t care at all because the order was through deliveroo. I had to say to her, do you not want to know what the problem is with the food so that it doesn’t happen again!

Excellent selection of food and drinks. Very attentive staff, even though it was busy for a Saturday evening the waiters were on the ball with the service, good service is very hard to come by these days.

Been going to this restaurant for years, it's central for meeting a friend and I can honestly say the service here every single time is great. Staff are attentive, friendly and polite. Food is really good too, always have a pizza of course! Desserts often change and there's always something I like!

We took our children there for dinner during half term and we had a really fantastic evening. The activity menus occupied the children and the children's menu was ideal! The staff were so friendly and helpful, which is always a big plus when you have kids. Our food was delicious and we all had the best evening. Excellent quality, excellent service and happy staff....perfect!

We went out for a meal before going to pictures I had new baked Mushroom vegan cheese rocket under and a dressing ,then a vegan sloppy not with chilli very good without it then orange and carrot cake the meal was very good and I would have it again

The food at Pizza Express is generally great at most branches however the service at the Farnham branch was superb. The staff are so friendly, attentive and will have a good chat with you.. very personable. Highly rate this place!

Ordered via Deliveroo but unfortunately had a very poor experience. We ordered at 19:22, and finally received our order at 20:55. The food arrived cold, the pizza crusts were burnt and the additional toppings we paid for were not included on the pizza. To be honest, the pizzas were mostly just sauce. We also ordered gluten free pizzas, but after the poor experience we had, we are unsure if that was even cared for or not. Appreciate that it's a Saturday night but still do not expect service this bad. The only good thing to come from the order was the brownie!

Have been using this restaurant since it opened in the 90’s. It has slowly been going down hill. We paid a visit this evening, Sunday 6th March at 18:10. On entering the restaurant a waitress walked past us and ignored us. A second waiter then came to the door and we were ignored again. After a wait of about three minutes the manager on duty approached us and asked if we had booked. On telling him no, he seemed put out that we had come in without booking. We were taken into the middle section and seated, leaving menus on the table. There was no communication from the manager who just walked off. After a wait of a couple of minutes a waitress appeared in our section walking past, I acknowledged her by saying hello to which she replied with a hello and proceeded to clear the unoccupied table behind us. There was no communication that she would take our order and walked off. The restaurant was not very busy with plenty of staff on duty who seemed to be wondering around in a day dream. After waiting 15 minutes and still being ignored we could see another table having to ask the manager to place their order. The manager seemed more occupied with dealing with the Deliveroo drivers waiting on collecting food rather than the customers dining in the restaurant. We are not normally precious about the service, however we were made to feel unwelcome and walked out of the restaurant after 20 minutes of being ignored. Poor service. Won’t be using this branch anymore.

We experienced blatant racism, we sat down at 7pm (we had a booking) and no one even asked us for our drinks until around 7:30 but in our section they had sat another couple (they were white) and they were already drinking their wine 5 mins after they sat down. The whole environment was hostile towards me and my friends it was extremely uncomfortable. We then asked to speak to the manager as by 8pm our food was still not here and everyone in our section was eating, he came and we expressed how we felt completely ignored and didn’t understand why our was taking so long. He agreed with us that because of the way we look we were getting horrible service (2 of us are black and one of us is mixed race) I genuinely couldn’t believe what he said, he then laughed at us as I asked him if we were all 100% white on this table would we still be getting the same service as we have received here today and he said no of course not! we asked him to cancel the order as the manager and staffs behaviour was so rude and racist. I’ve just moved to this town for university and it’s the only pizza express in town but I will never be going again, I feel so defeated and useless. I hope the manager of this place gets fired, because who knows what else other people have experienced or will In the future.

Had Pizza Express delivered on Deliveroo. Food was absolutely 10/10, delicious cannelloni pasta with dough sticks and brownie for dessert. The driver was very friendly and it was delivered very promptly. Thank you very much, no doubt will be ordering again very soon :)

Can't fault the place, happy staff good pizza

We’ve been here twice now post covid with our children. Both times we’ve had different staff but both times the service has been amazing, friendly, fun and efficient. We’ve felt well looked after and our custom was appreciated!

Excellent meal at Pizza Express, very airy and light in the conservatory, service was great, used the app to get the free doughballs.

There aren’t many things louder than a plane crash, a volcano erupting, or a demolition but Pizza Express in Farnham beats them all. Whether they are throwing cutlery into a tray, slamming crockery around, or just hollering at each other over the counter, it really is as relaxing as being at ground zero of nuclear explosion. That being said, food is always excellent and the service is decent.

My friend and I went for a Tuesday lunch in mid-November. He was very keen to have a pizza but pizzas in Farnham on a Tuesday are not easy to find. Notwithstanding that we had booked for a pizza at The Lost Boy we were told, after we had arrived, that they had decided to shut the pizza oven down for cleaning. We left. Pizza Express were happy to welcome us and the pizzas were very tasty and perfectly presented. This chain seems always to be utterly consistent maintaining a high standard. The staff are efficient and pleasant. The décor is reasonably basic - perfect for a top-class pizza restaurant.

We do enjoy Pizza Express Pizza food. My wife and I both had a superb piping hot Beef Lasagne and our son an excellent Pepperoni Pizza. There is nothing to fault with the food and we all finished our meals off without even having to reheat. Some places when food arrives Luke warm you have to pop in the oven for a while to get it piping hot. However our meals were all exceptional upon arrival. Excellent.

Nice place; we’ve been coming here for 20 years. Haven’t been for a while and sadly rather disappointing. The base of the classic pizza I had was like squashed uncooked white bread - pretty nasty. I hate to say it but I think Dominos is better. Hope they can sort out their pizzas - think they need a rebrand/freshen up the brand. Improve the quality, increase the prices and start again.

We just had a terrific Pizza Express with three pizza's delivered. The food was piping hot and delicious. Excellent value and very prompt service. We were told 30 mins for delivery and that was spot on. Hard to fault a working system with quality food.

We really enjoyed our time at the restaurant. The food was delicious and the new pesto dough balls just perfect. I loved the new romana FUNGHI DI BOSCO is a tasty addition to the menu. The service was good.

The food was good but a little cold when it came to the table. The manager who took our order did miss 1 of our starters but after querying it, she sorted it and gave it for free. Great location, good food and good experience overall would recommend.

We ordered up a pizza for a change from Pizza Express. Three of us decided that we would just have two large pizza's delivered and to be honest we still had pizza left over as we struggled to finish them off. Great food at a...

Standard fare, but more expensive that ever!

It was so lush to be somewhere that had a easy pizza express website that you could see the menu and then the waiters would take your order , also when we finished we just paid for it all on our phone brilliant 👍👍 such a lush experience and the whole restaurant was spaced out so not sitting close to anyone . The food was 10/10 our pizzas was amazing . Definitely want to come here again in Farnham . We are on holiday and Farnham is such a great cute proper old English village with a castle . :)

Not bad for a chain this big. Wasn't very impressed with the quality of the pizza I ordered, and it was definitely overpriced.
