272 The High street Rochester Kent is a private house, The que and brew is located at the Huntsman Pub 106 Patterns lane Rochester and it is very good food. American Bar-b-que style.

I ordered no pull pork platter and small macorni cheese. I must say it was awful the only thing I enjoyed was fries. The meat free BBQ pork was full with slimy sauce and you could taste the meat free pork. The cheese in macorni was horrid as it taste like plastic. The coleslaw was off. Sorry to say but this has to be the worst take away.

After stumbling across this place on Facebook we decided to give it a try. We ordered online which was easy & specified a collection slot. Parking was a little difficult as the pub in which the takeaway is situated is in a residential area. My husband ordered the House Smoked Pulled Pork & Double Patty Burger & had the option to choose a side & a sauce. He went for the Fry-gasmic Fries Bacon Edition. I went for the Full Slab of Ribs and unfortunately I couldn’t choose my sides, they come with fries and that’s it! I wanted to try the Mac 'n' Cheese with Maple Candied Bacon as a side, so had to order this as an extra, and then ended up binning my fries as I never wanted them (which was a bit of a waste!). You should be able to swap out the sides on all of the meals, not just some of them. The food was of a good quality and we both enjoyed our meals. The ribs were very tender. It was all well packaged and stayed hot during the 5 mile trip home. We will order from here again.

Wanted to try something that’s not really on the market and a family favourite. Ordering online not an issue. However collection was a little confusing as there was no signage that made it obvious. The food was well prepared in there own packages with labels. Portion size is good. Only negative is that it is a little expensive so there is some doubts about value for money.

Two of us came in for coffee and dessert. I ordered an Americano and received what was clearly a cup of instant coffee. No explanation, apology or discount. When the card reader was presented to me, I had been overcharged by £30. We won't be back.

Just never open. Closes whenever it feels like it and always out of ingredients. Staff are lovely and they make some nice sandwiches but not being open at peak times is wild.

Ordered on Uber eats, was missing all the fries, was refunded but not the point, ordering for 4 people and none of us getting fries was a pointless meal, how hard is it to put fries with the burgers, useless!!!!

How much you like this pub depends on how you feel about spending £28 on a, generally excellent, pint and a burger and chips. (You can get the basic burger, chips and beer for about £21, but the speciality stuff is more). The atmosphere is a slightly weird mix of indie pub, expensive burgers and 17 huge TVs showing sport. But nothing bad about it. I think it's a nice place. Good beer, good food, nice staff. It's just it would literally be cheaper to buy the same sort of thing in London, and Rainham High Street is not London.
