We had a fabulous pizza party to celebrate our daughter’s 8th birthday, with children aged 5 to 11 — and it couldn’t have gone better! Mark and his team were an absolute pleasure. They went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. We were initially a little worried that the children might lose interest, but the entire experience was so thoughtfully planned and seamlessly run. From decorating their chef hats to drawing and colouring, making their own pizza bases and adding toppings — the kids were completely engaged from start to finish. While the pizzas were cooking, they were served dough balls and fresh vegetables, followed by ice cream after their pizzas. Mark even kindly helped with cutting the cake. This was our first birthday party for our newly adopted daughter, and the care, attention to detail, from the team made it incredibly special for all of us. We can’t recommend pizza express kids parties enough — truly a memorable experience! Thank you

Food expensive and not up to standard had roast Potatoes tasted old and not crispy Yorkshire cold And overcooked gravy was put over the food not good

Chimney Burger, Macaroni and Chicken strips were delicious. Kids loved the food.

I tried the Queen Margherita and my son had the BBQ Burnt Ends (one pizza, half and half style). It was very nice. We also tried the Dough Balls Al Forna - major cheese pull! We put it with a small pot of garlic butter, yum! We also tried the Peach Sparkle and Raspberry Sparkle drinks, fine but the raspberry could have done with a kick more flavour. The staff were friendly and polite. I would come back again.

I’ve not been in, however I ordered a burrito meal through burrito bandits on Uber eats, the meal was amazing and I’ll 100% order again.

Expensive and the quality and quantity of food is below average. Not atall recommended. Meat is definitely from the freezer and no flavour at all! And salad is a pure joke!

Never disappoints, fabulous roast dinners, friendly staff, it’s a really great pub!! There wasn’t any element of the roast dinner that I could’ve improved. The staff are so friendly, I wish I had a pub like this where I live!

Contacted the Hornbrook by 'phone at 7.15 last night to see if they were open and serving food. It was answered by a BOT who said they were very busy but eventually made a booking for 7.45. When we arrived the pub was almost empty and they had long stopped serving food. This was disappointing but the really poor thing was the attitude of the member of staff we spoke to who, instead of having empathy, told us it was a bank holiday and the kitchen had closed early. We were told that, apparently, the website says different hours may apply to bank holidays (we didn't communicate via the website). The strong implication was that it was our fault for not knowing any of this. It was pointed out that the BOT had taken the booking on the 'phone (which a collegaue confirmed was on the system). Asked why the 'phone BOT wasn't adjusted or switched off we were told that was all organised by head office. I spent a lifetime in customer service and if it's one thing that is guaranteed to upset a customer even more, it is lack of empathy and lack of responsibility by hiding behind the "it's all down to Head Office". I am not an irregular visitor to this pub but I think I will be taking a wide berth because of the very poor use of a BOT and the poor attitude of the staff locally, whose overiding attitude seemed to be that this was, somehow, our fault.

Great pub, toptastic food and lovely staff. What more could you want. Still awesome at everything. Top Governor running the show.

Our first time ordering and there were added extras included which was generous, however, all 6 curries and sides were bland, lacking flavour and depth. Meats didn’t appear to have been marinated in sauce or seasoning adding to the lack of flavour. A real shame. Naan were nice.

I see that a member of staff is still parking in a disabled bay nit displaying a blue badge she is there for a few hours I thought this was customer disabled parking in greggs western industrial estate Bracknell
