The Granary in Elmbridge

Popped in today not knowing what I wanted for lunch, was met by the most friendly man who made some great suggestions for me! Had a lovely chat, and the food was amazing, great value for money and very quick which is convenient for the lunch hour! Will certainly be coming back again and recommending to my colleagues too!

I called into the Granary on the off chance and asked for a Bacon Brie and Cranbury baguette. The owner suggested a hot Panini which I went for! It was excellent full of filling, and flavor. The price was very reasonable, and the owner helpful with great customer service.

I have also been coming to this sandwich bar for a number of years, but since the new take over, it has been dramatically going down hill. Stale bread, very little filling (yet still charge the same price as the last owners). Unfortunately I won't be going back. I've also asked my work colleagues about their thoughts on the new owners and quality since the takeover and they have agreed with me. If you ask me, use your 'loaf' , and don't bother going there. Earn your 'crust' somewhere else. I can see that food quality rating dropping from 5 to 1 in a short space of time, but I'm sure that will be the 'yeast' of their worries. From now on I will be bringing in a packed lunch from home.

I've been coming to this store almost every working day for the last 9 years but sice the store went under new management at the end of november, it does not produce the quality usually associated with this sandwich shop. Sliced bread is no longer fresh and the portions are lacking in quantity compared to prev owners, altgouh they seem happy to charge customers the same price. I have spoken to a few people who used to frequent the store as much as I did and all agree that the quality of this weybridge icon is sorely missed.

I often go here when in Weybridge choice is always good. However I normally go for the baguettes as on the occations that I have had the baps or bread it has always been dry and I normally go in about 10am so perhaps left from the day before. Friendly service.

Visited here last week. A great selection of sandwich fillings and you can choose from sandwiches wraps and baguettes. I went for the chicken bacon and sweet corn mix in a wrap which was delicious! There was also a selection of cold drinks and other snacks. They make great coffee too The portion size was more than generous and considering it's Weybridge the prices were very reasonable. Overall a great visit, nice friendly staff too.

I had a nice baguette from the Granary. Takeaway only (no seating), but friendly fast service. No complaints.

Regularly buy a lunch sandwich here, fillings are generous in size, choice of bread on offer too, and meal deals options available . Good value for money. Not really a sit down restaurant, definitely take away.
