Stopped in for a coffee but as it was lunchtime decided to have a jacket potato. I chose cheese n beans and my partner the chilli, both were served with a nicely presented side salad and butter if you wanted it. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the food was hot, tasty and good value for money. Would definitely go back.

Popped in whilst out Christmas shopping, the staff were very friendly and the hot chocolate and cake I had were lovely

Love going to the range but have to say the Costa cappuccinos we both had was the worst ever. So weak and bland, not even that hot, couldnt taste anything apart from milk. Some of the chairs are filthy too. I saw 3 members of staff and there are signs up asking us to clear the table of our dirty crockery etc. sorry I’m not a waitress. Won’t be returning.

One does not expect a cafe in The Range let alone a good one! Food was excellent and great quality. Very well priced too. Cream tea was especially good and great value.

⸻ I recently visited The Merry Inn Farm on the Isle of Wight with a friend, and we had a lovely experience. It was a perfect spot to enjoy dinner in the sun, and it was conveniently located—less than a minute’s walk from the Premier Inn where we were staying, practically right next door! This was just a quick trip to the Isle of Wight, but we enjoyed it so much that we ended up returning to The Merry Inn on Sunday after an 8-mile walk for a much-needed and well-deserved lunch. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and it was a great part of our visit. We’d definitely come back again

We had a super Sunday lunch here after strolling through the botanical gardens. the chef Michael Jackson (yes, really!) cooked a delicious roast beef for my husband & did a special sea bass for me. Very attentive service from friendly staff & really good wine by the glass in pleasant surroundings, with the sun streaming into the restaurant.
